Smuk moderne bjergkahyt med alle høje ende bekvemmeligheder INDE i Santa Fe National forest.
Sommer og vinter wonderland!
Hjemmet er alt på et niveau - ingen trapper af nogen art (undtagen udvendige trapper ned til hytten) King seng i master og to queensize senge i gæsteværelserne - alle overdådige puder i topmadras med meget komfortable lagner og dundyner.
Fantastisk mesterbad med kæmpe støbejernbadekar, perfekt til to, hvis du ikke har lyst til at sidde i boblebadet :-)
Fuldt udstyret køkken med en Viking-serie og alt hvad du har brug for.
Ekstremt privatliv - dette er en af de eneste egenskaber som dette i Santa Fe-området - et sandt bjergparadis slipper væk, men alligevel så tæt på byen med en bjergbæk, der snor sig gennem skoven.
Ude dørentusiaster vil elske det her, medbringe dine mountainbikes om sommeren og dine langrend på vinteren, stå lige uden for hoveddøren!
Da vi er placeret i de nationale skovvandrere, vil vandrere elske det her. Der er gode stier i gåafstand eller med en kort køretur - en anden grund til at have en SUV, så det er lettere at komme op i skoven forbi kabinen.
Hjemmet har rigelig dæk og gårdhave med udsigt over creek og boblebad, perfekt til udendørs underholdning.
Birders vil elske det herop! Vi har store fugle hele året rundt, men især om sommeren, når kolibrier er overalt.
Kølige vikarer om sommeren, når centrum er varmt!
Encantado-feriestedet ligger lige ned til vejen for spisning og spafaciliteter i verdensklasse.
Der er en 2 km snavsvej til ejendommen, og den sidste 1/2 mil kan være meget ujævn, og det kan blive mudret eller snedækket afhængigt af vejret. Jeg vil anbefale en SUV eller en højere clearance-køretøj i sommermånederne for at gøre rejsen på vejen mere komfortabel. Om vinteren er en firehjulstrækket SUV eller lastbil obligatorisk, fordi vi er i bjergene, og der vil være sne - se billederne.
Så hvis du leder efter et sted at virkelig slappe af og være omgivet af natur, men alligevel være tæt på alt, hvad Santa Fe har at tilbyde, så overvej os!

This is one of the most beautiful vrbo places we have ever stayed. The owner's home was very well thought out when creating this incredible piece of heaven.If you are looking for a serene, quiet place to relax after a day of activities or just to hang out and chill, this is the place!There are so many beautiful birds that just love being fed in the mornings and watching them is so fun.Brian the owner is very meticulous, and it reflects that in everywhere you turn in this home, as it is incredibly clean.The creek below the home is so peaceful to go to sleep to with the sliding glass doors open in the bedroom.Just absolutely Beautiful, EVERYTHING!Thank You Brian for a great stay in your home!

We really enjoyed the combo of hot tub and cold creek. The house exceeded our expectations. It was so nice to have multiple hiking trails right outside our front door and within walking distance. We did a lot of cooking in the well appointed kitchen. The hummingbirds and jay provided daytime entertainment to where we never even turned on the TV. Thank you for a lovely, dog friendly, unique stay from three Santa Fe Opera fans!

HONEYMOON DESTINATION

ZEN! Brian’s place is everything that we were looking for! A place to recharge our batteries and a place to absolutely disconnect with the world! It was beautifully laid out and just so welcoming! As was Brian! He was so accommodating in both our checking in and with our checking out! The hot tub was spectacular! The LARGE bath tub and shower were over the top lux! Folks, this place is the real deal! With all the natural lighting and large patio doors, you always felt as though you were outside even when you were inside. You were part of nature!

A perfect tree house experience

Brian’s property is in an idyllic setting and is accurately described. Check in was easy; house was clean and well furnished; the hot tub was clean and ready to be enjoyed; the kitchen had everything needed to prepare meals; and the pantry was nicely stocked with spices, EVO, honey, etc - likely left by previous generous guests. We only had one question of Brian during our visit: did he have any firewood for the wood burning stove? Within 15 minutes, he appeared with an armload of clean, well seasoned, split hardwood which he stacked by the wood stove. One caution to those who might consider this wonderful property: the unpaved, bumpy road up through the canyon requires a 4 WD and is more suited for intrepid drivers - especially after dark. We loved the experience and hope to return.

Santa Fe Get Away

The house was very clean, comfortable and private. The setting was perfect for our group of nature lovers! We loved feeding the birds as requested! Brian was a great host & very quick to respond to all our questions. Beds were comfortable and it was very enjoyable to sit in the hot tub after long days of seeing the sights. As noted in the listing the road is bumpy which made the drive to town a little longer than expected. We were charged an extra 50 per day since we were a party of four & not two which I overlooked in the details. Enjoy!

Amazing National Forest Stay!

House was amazing! Host Brian was amazing! We loved this house very much for our Christmas holiday! I couldn’t imagine a better place to stay for Christmas, and it even snowed on Christmas Day! I highly recommend this property. I look forward to staying at this property during the summer months in the future.

Paradise in the mountains!

My husband and I loved this place! It is clear that this house has been a labor of love and we felt so lucky to have had the chance to stay here while visiting beautiful Santa Fe. Brian is an incredibly gracious host. The home itself is beautiful with a wood burning stove, fully stocked kitchen, gorgeous deck looking out to the woods and serene creek below. The hot tub was a perfect place to relax after a day of skiing and the master bedroom made us feel like we were staying in a 5 star hotel. We definitely want to visit again!

Secluded mountain forest with a beautiful stream

This was an idyllic place for staying for 15 days and nights. The furnishings, appliances, cookware, linens, provided supplies were all the nicest of any VRBO we have used. We had no problems, complaints. or issues at all. The owner is immediately at hand to take care of anything that might need attention, and to provide any information needed and respond to questions. Our stay was during the ABQ Balloon Fiesta, and though it is an hour or so from that, it wasn't our main reason for being there; so that distance was no problem. It is only a few minutes from the Teseque village, 20-30 minutes from all manner of shopping/dining in Santa Fe, and 45 minutes to an hour from Taos. Yet with all that close-by the property provides great seclusion for relaxing enjoyment of the forest and wildlife right from the living room, full-length porch, patio, deck, and hot-tub. It is true luxury in the wilderness with spaciousness and comfort that we, our adult children, and grandchildren all enjoyed. We could not have had a better time.

Mountain home

Amazing! Beautiful and peaceful. Very short drive for dinner or shopping in santa fe. This is one of the best host. Home well stocked and no long list of things to do before we checked. Four weman in our group and we felt veey safe tucked away in the mountains.

Amazing Stay!

Brian's place was our favorite stay ever. The property location is incredible. The home is well decorated and furnished with everything you could need for your stay. Brian was a fantastic host too - helpful and responsive. We will definitely be back!

Great Spring Stay in the Mountains

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin in the mountains. There were 2 couples and our small dog. You are right in the forest at this cabin. Comfortable beds, great kitchen, great deck and outside areas.

Enchanting and Serene

This home is phenomenal! It is secluded enough to be peaceful and close enough to the city to be convenient. Communicating with the owner was extremely easy; we ran out of firewood one morning, sent Brian a message, he responded within 15 minutes to let us know where the storage of firewood was located. The house had everything we needed: sleds for our children, a hot tub, a stocked kitchen, WiFi, even a small back house with a bathroom. Every morning we fed the birds and squirrels that were waiting in the trees, right off the back deck around 7:15 am. Perfect for families! Our family would love to come back and see this property in the summer, though it was also magical in the winter - one of the most beautiful homes we’ve ever stayed in.

Wonderful and Special place

What a fabulous place to stay. Up in the Forest about 20-25 minutes from downtown Santa Fe. Such a special place. Adorable squirrels and birds everywhere. Our first drive through the forest was a little hairy, but got easier and easier each time. Every need was thought through in the house. Highly recommended!!

At the top of my list!

We booked for 8 days in early October (unwittingly booked during balloon fiesta) in order to fully explore Northern NM. The cabin is well situated for all our adventures. And we went on MANY. LANL, Bandolier, Valles Caldera, Jemez Mountains and Santa Fe National Forrest (which is literally out the front door). This ranks at the top. I was particularly impressed that Brian, the owner, stopped by on night one to introduce himself and allow us to pick his brain on places we might enjoy. Booking online is always a crap shoot, but you simply cannot go wrong with this wonderful place and host.

Scenic and Secluded Getaway

Brian’s property was perfect. The pictures do not do it justice. We had a small issue with a tree limb rubbing the roof of the guest house which was making a noise in the wind. Brian addressed it immediately. I am reluctant to even bring up this issue because everything was so perfect. I just wanted to express how quick he responded to my message. The hummingbirds on the beautiful deck are so tame that they will rest on your finger while they’re eating. That was an unexpected treat. We will definitely stay here again if we ever travel to the Santa Fe area. Thanks again Brian!

Family Vacation

I had seen this property several times in my searches for the Santa Fe area (as we try to visit a couple times a year), but we chose other places for various reasons. This time we thought it would be nice to stay in the cabin away from it all. Brian has done a wonderful job on the house. It is beautiful and situated in the National Forest. It is well equipped with everything you will need. He leaves food for the birds so you can feed them everyday. The hummingbirds are amazing - non stop out the front door. If you want to stay somewhere away from it all this is the place for you. Distance wise it’s not far from the plaza, however time wise it takes a bit longer given the unpaved road which is clearly noted in the description. Once you get back on the paved road it’s a short 15+ minutes to town. We have stayed in Tesuque before and enjoy the area which is beautiful. We had a couple minor issues and reached out to Brian, he addressed them right away.

Great spot in the woods

This is a very comfortable house in a beautiful, quiet location in the forest. The host was super friendly and helpful and we always appreciate being able to have our dog with us. We plan on returning!

This is the only location thats this close to Santa Fe, inside the national forest, on a stream that affords total privacy and high quality of living. I feel so blessed to have been able to live up here all these years. I can never get over how beautiful Pacheco Canyon is!

This home was designed by and award winning designer - no boring architecture here. The home was planned to feel like the outdoors and indoors were one, and I truly think we succeeded. Sitting by the creek, watching the humming birds, having margaritas on the deck - or in the hot tub. Mountain biking and skiing right out the front door - endless miles of hiking and exploring, watching the birds - it never gets old! The only problem with staying up here is that you will not want to leave....Santa whaa?
