Strange Experience
My spouse and I booked the condo. Told owner we probably would not arrive until late evening. When we arrived, we heard voices and TV coming from inside the condo when we arrived at 11 pm. The housekeeper, her boyfriend and dog were hanging out and some of the bedding was still in the dryer. Told us the toilet in the master was broke but would be back to fix. Came back twice but never fixed it. We were there for one week. Reached out to the owner because I did not want to leave a bad review but he simply replied that the housekeeper had been fired and is no longer cleaning the place. I left it way cleaner than what I found it, but I will leave that to your imagination. I am not in the practice of leaving a bad review at all but when the owner is non-responsive to some constructive criticism and concerns from a person who rented his property it is concerning. The housekeeper left the toilet lid on the nightstand right next to the bed. As far as the pool and property grounds, they were meticulously maintained I hope the owner is able to manage his property and check in with the services he is “paying for,” Our experience was unsatisfactory,, but this is the first time I have experienced this with VRBO. P.s. I gave the owner three weeks to reach out to me about my concerns and pictures of the dirty condo before I posted this. I am just a little disappointed about the non response from the owner
