I’m Melissa, though many know me as @fitgurlmel. I live in Los Angeles, where I work as a personal trainer, athlete, and fitness coach. My journey started when I lost 40 pounds in 60 days, which led me to bodybuilding competitions and eventually a career helping others find strength and balance. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of training amazing clients, including Kim Kardashian, and sharing real, no-nonsense fitness advice in outlets like Women’s Health, Cosmopolitan, and Vogue.
Health and wellness are not just my career — they’re my lifestyle. That’s why I created Casa Coyote. I wanted a place where people could step away from the busyness of life, breathe in the desert air, and reconnect with themselves. The sauna, cold plunge, and hot tub aren’t just amenities — they’re part of a philosophy of recharging body and mind.
As a host, I love being able to share this retreat with others. My hope is that when you leave Casa Coyote, you feel lighter, clearer, and more energized than when you arrived.
