Cabin was great!

My family stayed here to go skiing and it was very nice. Really loved the fireplace and the pellet grill. Definitely would stay again

Great rental

Great house, great host, great location. We had a really fun time in McCall and having a great rental made the four night stay ideal. Mark and Renee were wonderful hosts and communication was perfect. Definitely stay again.

Wonderful Weekend

Beautiful Cabin Home. So relaxing we did not want to leave. Enjoyed our stay very much, and hope to return in the future! Our gift of homemade raspberry jam was wonderful!

Cozy cabin. The downstairs bedroom was perfect for older parents. The owners were very accessible but fortunately, we didn't need any assistance.

Beautiful log cabin with 3 bedrooms and a loft. First floor primary en suite bedroom. Close to town by car. Stayed 5 nights. Would do again.

Weekend staycation

We absolutely adored this cabin, it was perfect. It was well stocked with everything we needed. We were in McCall looking at properties for ourselves and if this ever was on the market I’d try to convince my husband to buy it! We loved it!

So Tranquil!

We stayed at this beautiful home during the Winter Carnival and loved getting away from the crowds in our own peaceful forest setting. The house is so cozy and inviting, and everything was provided for our comfort and convenience.

Loved the cabin! Roomy, super clean! Private! Everything you want in a vacation home!!

We loved our stay in the spacious clean cabin home!! We saw two deer! Barbecued on the Traeger and cooked the fish we caught in a near by pond! Owners were very attentive and made sure are questions were answered, etc!

Great place!

We went to McCall for golf, and a weekend away with friends who were not from Idaho. This cabin was clean, spacious and the owner was great about the communication and our needs. We wished we'd not had so much golf to play and enjoyed more time at the cabin. We loved staying there and would rent again.

Great private cabin in the woods

Our stay was everything we wanted for a wonderful holiday vacation! The cabin is a quick drive to town yet has private views on a nice lot. The living room and tv loft were comfortable for our family of 5. The kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed to cook for the week. Enjoyed communicating with Mark and Renee. Would 100% rent this property again!

Enjoyed by all.

Everyone in our group enjoyed the stay immensely. The home is beautiful, very well furnished and supplied, and completely relaxing. We especially enjoyed the woodwork in the home (both the home itself and the handmade furnishings), along with the home's location in the tall pines. The place offers great privacy, but with the convenience of town not far away. Even before we left, we agreed that we hope to do this again next year.

Back again--third time

This was our third time for a 1-week stay at this home. This place is close in to McCall, but very private and tranquil...away from the noise and hustle and bustle. The place is beautiful and well cared for, and we cannot think of a single we would change. In fact, we have already reserved for vacation next year!

Vacation, July, 2020

This was our second vacation at this property, and we hope there are more to come. We spent months looking forward to our return and we were not disappointed. This is a beautiful home, well cared for and very comfortable; we love the owners' personal attention to design and furnishings. The location in the trees is serene, yet it is only minutes to a beach or town, and a great base for longer day trips into the surrounding country. We appreciate the owners' hospitality and effort that goes into providing this property for vacation use.

Perfect McCall vibe

We had a great time at the Back Country cabin. Mark and Renee have put a lot of time and love into making their cabin cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed many hours enjoying the sights, sounds and smells of the forest from the wraparound porch. They are very responsive owners and the cabin was outfitted perfectly for preparing and serving meals. I always appreciate a well stocked cabin. I loved that we could still turn on the fireplace on a chilly morning or evening. This was the perfect location for our friends who were visiting from Texas to experience a real McCall, Idaho vacation! I would highly recommend!
