We came for a concert at shoreline amphitheater and spend a few days exploring the area. This was a good central location for visiting Santa Cruz, Monterey, Carmel.

Loved it. The only problem is that parking is rough around these parts. But i would definitely do it again. Everything is in walking distance and the vibes are great!!

The location is ideal, close to shops, restaurants, coffee places and the beach. The check-in was simple, with the instructions provided. It was a perfect stay for the 4 day getaway.

My adult son and I were home for a short visit for my 40th Class Reunion, I picked this place because of price and location. It was exactly what the photos showed. If you’ve never been to Capitola By The Sea the only thing you need to prepare for is the parking, you might want to plan for parking behind the Police station. The Hosts were awesome, check-in was super easy, I had some questions that were answered pretty quickly. Will rent from them again!

So close to the beach!!!Walking to Zelda’s , Margaritaville, andPizza my Heart was so easy. The bungalow was clean, and ready for renters to relax, and have a GREAT time!Highly recommend

Great location! Close to the beach, shops and restaurants. Clean, comfortable bed, and cozy place. Only negative was the neighbors upstairs were a little noisy, but not too bad. Brought a sound machine since it mentioned in the description. Would stay here again

Great location and great communication with host. The location of the unit is fairly noisy with the other tenants in the building since the walls are really thin and the unit is downstairs, but we knew that before going with reading previous reviews.

Overall this property is good. Main issues was cleanliness. The restroom was not very clean. The fold out couch is fairly worn out and the mattress bummby. Definitely recommend earplugs due to the top guests noise. Parking had some challenges especially on weekends. The one thing that stood out was the large comfy king bed and nice tv, Also how centrally located to the village it is. The host was not available when we needed some answers. We got an answering service who had to contact her to answer questions about parking and that took some time, The price was good since other compatible places rented for 300 a night, Overall it was a good stay but could be made better with a new fold out couch and more work on cleanliness.

Super cute and Cozy. I brought my 3 year old whom is special needs and she was very comfortable here. The guests upstairs weren't too loud. If your a light sleeper you might need a sound machine but other then that we had a great time.

Great Little Spot

Great location: close to the Capitola village, but off the main street so it stays quiet. We took our coffee down to the beach each morning and enjoyed the sunrise over the water. Well appointed and clean, timely communication with the host. We would stay here again.

Great Location

The home was very clean and well equipped and the location is great. While the upstairs apartment is occupied, the downstairs apartment we stayed in can get quite noisy even with normal movement and conversations.

Great location walkable to everything you need. Friendly neighbors. As others have mentioned there is noise in the upstairs unit. Large overhead lights. The lights on the bed did not work because the batteries were dead.

Shops and restaurants in walking distance and the beach also. I would love a view but it was quiet for us, not alot of street noise or neighbors. My only suggestion is to have an extra blanket in the closet. Heater is in the bedroom and works great but sitting area/kitchen gets quite cold in am. If you want to be in sitting area so partner can sleep, its cold. Enjoyed the stay, thank you

Capitola

Well organized and clean in a good location near downtown.. Parking was not clearly explained and pet charges were a surprise and not clearly stated in the marketing material, but otherwise, we were very satisfied and had a great stay.

Perfect getaway

I come to Capitola often and this was my first stay here The apartment is so cozy and tucked away a couple blocks off the main streets so relatively quiet. The small kitchenette was well appointed for a short stay and had all the essentials. Foot traffic in the upstairs unit is quite loud (primarily due to hardwood floors) but I was otherwise to have respectful neighbors in regards to additional noise. Overall a very cute comfortable place to stay for an adult weekend getaway.
