Charmerende hjem beliggende i ønskelig Sheridan Beach og kun 50 miles fra Chicago. Huset har 3 komfortable soveværelser (1 kingsize-seng, 1 queensize-seng, 2 tvillinger). Den screenet-in veranda tilbyder 2 twin daybeds - fantastisk til at hænge ud. Det åbne køkken / spisestue og stue er lyse med ovenlys og masser af vinduer med udsigt over haven og dejlig anlagt baggård. Den enorme værftet udstyret med en overdimensioneret dækket dæk med et stort spisebord og siddepladser, plus et stort græsareal til leg og afslapning udenfor. Sengetøj og håndklæder er forudsat, samt strandstole (medbring din egen strand håndklæder). Vores strand hus ligger kun få skridt til den prinstine klit og strand på Lake Michigan. Hvad kunne være mere perfekt end at pakke en kurv for dagen og bruge det på stranden. Den meget kort gåtur langs stien foret i klit græs langsomt blæser i vinden fører dig til den betagende syn af hvad der virker som den evige kystlinjen. Denne strand er blevet sammenlignet med den nationale kysten af ​​Cape Cod.

Lovely stay in a beautiful place

We loved our vacation here. I don't normally leave reviews but made a point to review this one because it is so nice. The house has everything you need, the location is perfect and the host is very kind. We will definitely be back.

I can recommend this property for anyone wishing to stay near Sheridan Beach in Michigan City. Short walk to the beach- well designed place with a great back yard.

The property was clean, spacious and had great high ceilings and skylights! The location to the beach was amazing and the backyard was a bonus. Absolutely would recommend the property and owner to anyone who asked.

August Beach Trip

This is such a great location. We loved the short walk to the beach. It made it easy to go back and forth multiple times a day. The house has everything you need and comfy beds for all. We loved the backyard and the outdoor dining. We would love to stay here again. My favorite Michigan beach stay yet!

Loved it

This was our second time staying here and we are looking forward to booking it again! The house is clean and updated, perfect for relaxing and enjoying time together. And the backyard was so fun for my young kids to run around in!

Nice house. Great location.

The house was very clean and well maintained. Short walk to the beach. One negative is that there's no gas grill.

Fantastic Stay on the Lake

The property was fantastic. The rental was clean, with all amenities as described. I am a native to the area now living in Oklahoma and was looking to stay at a convenient location close to my family that is still in Michigan City. Location was a quick walk to the beach, as well as close to everything else the area has to offer. Trish was fantastic and we look forward to doing this again next year!

Great getaway

The three of us loved the house! The backyard was a great place to sit and visit/read. Lots of space. Inside was spacious and offered lots of room for meal prep/cook. The bedroom doors blocked out sounds perfectly. The beds were comfortable. Short walk to the beach was great! We will be back next year.

Heavenly Getaway

I rented the house for a getaway weekend with my two grown daughters and best friend. What a lovely place this is and one I will return to when the opportunity presents itself. Immaculately clean, exquisitely landscaped, private and gorgeously decorated. The pictures tell the story of a place where you can get away and relax. Spacious kitchen where we did breakfast and dinner. Love the seating areas both inside and out. The owners have thought of everything to make your stay a memorable one. Weekend getaway

Not appealing from the front but beautifully landscaped back yard and attractive interior. It was the first time I have been asked to strip bedding, wash dishes and gather laundry and set out garbage. The description said it was just steps from the beach implying it is on the beach which it was not. Not even a view of the beach. But we enjoyed the home and the weekend.

Thanks for your comments. Sorry if you found the description misleading on the location (it does not say it’s lakeside). I did sent you a text telling you not to strip the beds, per our cleaning crews request. As for the garbage and dishes, this is a common practice for most rentals. My favorite rental ever!

I stayed here with a group of six friends looking for a low-key women’s weekend by a beach. Wow, we feel so fortunate to have found this place! The house is well furnished without being cluttered, the design is welcoming and intentional, and the proximity to the water is a luxury. Sometimes it’s difficult to cook in short-term rentals because of the lack of kitchen tools, but this kitchen had everything we needed for a few good meals in—plus a great meal at Fish Camp a mile away. The outdoor space was the perfect place to start our days with coffee. Oh, and the shower! Love the skylight and tall ceiling! No complaints at all. We’ll be back.

Two weeks of relaxation

We have stayed in the Sheridan Beach area for many years and this our first time renting at this location. We were very happy with the home and all it has to offer. A bathroom with walk in shower and a powder room on the main level and a bathroom with walk in shower in the basement. There is also a second refrigerator in the basement which is a great feature. The wifi kept us all connected to the real world when we needed it and the short walk to the beach took us miles away from it. We spent our nights out back under the covered patio enjoying the outdoors. The owners were very easy to deal with and quick to respond to any question or issue. Thanks for letting us stay in your beautiful home.

Great location, cozy home

My girlfriends and I wanted a relaxing weekend to get away and hang out. The location was perfect. We went to the beach every morning, during the day, and again for sunset. Amenities: the kitchen is well stocked with cutting boards, pots, pans, knives, spices, plates, bowls, silverware, towels, sponges and soap. Kudos to Trish for making her place ready for eating in house. The couch and outdoor eating area were our favorites, and even though we brought board games, this home had some of our favorites like Telestrations and Blank Slate! My only complaint was that this place only had 1.5 bathrooms even though it's advertised as 2 full bathrooms, so with 7 girls, it was a little tricky to shower. And make sure to bring your own body wash! All in all, it was a perfect place to hang out, and this weekend will go down as one of my favorites trips ever!

Great Family Beach Stay

Great location with easy access to a great, clean beach. The house is perfect for a small family and has just about everything you need. Comfy beds, great shower, nice patio in back. There is a nice screened in porch at the street-side that is a great, relaxing spot, particularly at night when all you hear are the waves. The kitchen is pretty well stocked but a lot of the pans need replaced as they stick pretty bad. The washer/dryer is in the lower level/basement area along with a third bathroom. This is convenient when coming straight from the beach. The owner should invest in a lock for this lower level door as anyone could walk in. Wi-Fi was spotty (possibly from summer surge in web traffic?). No critique on owner communication during stay as we had no real issues to address (which says a lot in and of itself). Overall an excellent place to stay for a single family or a few couples in Michigan City!

Friendly get away

This is the second year my kids and I have stayed here. It was the first time we brought my best friend and her kids. We were very yet again! The house is perfectly located right next to the beach. The street is quiet and easy to find. This house has a great back covered patio and small yard for the kids to play in. I will recommend this house to anyone looking for a nice get away with a great location!

Perfect getaway

We do a girls weekend every year and this was the perfect spot. Close to the beach, clean and need and a nice kitchen for our needs. The outdoor space was wonderful as well. Would stay again

Cozy house

Great location. Easy check in. Short walk to beach. Used the outdoor table every day but couldn’t sit out at nite do to mosquitoes. Bedrooms nice size very close together so can be noisy for sleeping if you go to bed early. Neighborhood quiet. Backyard nice for kids and cooking on the grill. Floors could use a deep clean. Everything else very clean. Bring your own coffee and condiments. Everything else was there for cooking. Dishes utensils paper products. Beautiful sunsets. Great weather. Loved the sky lights. Always bright and cheerful in the house. Would definitely stay again. Went to the zoo and outlet mall. Thanks for a great stay!

The size of the house was perfect for me and my family. We loved the backyard space for eating meals and relaxing, my kids especially enjoyed the yard space. The short walk to the beach was beautiful and perfect for if we forgot something. There seemed to be quite a bit of updates to the house which were great and helped us feel more comfortable relaxing. Family girls weekend

First timers to the area. We did a Mom, daughters, granddaughters weekend. This house had everything you should need. It was clean and comfortable. Don't miss the downstairs bathroom complete with a shower. We used the table in the back yard for meals and card playing. The back yard was our favorite. We were surprised at how a great lakes beach looks so much like a beach at the ocean and the path across the street from the house HAD A MAT!! (big bonus) that lead out to the beach. It made for an easy walk. The slight incline up the path and over to the beach was not bad at all. We watched ducks swimming back and forth in the lake, plenty of boats to watch too. Thank you for sharing your house with us. It was a good weekend!
