You never know with GPS; sometimes you can end up on some steep roads. The normal routes into and out of Thunder Mountain are very tame. In fact, that is a big part of why we chose this property. We try to think of all the “extras” that you will need while vacationing and make sure you have better appliances in the kitchen, hair dryers in all the bathrooms, nice mattress pads and pillows on the beds, and extra outdoor seating. And we have put a lot of attention toward the landscape that will be in your direct view and help make your stay great. Your group was a joy to host, and we really hope you will visit us again the next time you are in the Smokies!

And we would love to host you and your family Mary! The view of Mt Leconte is breathtaking and having the vast space on the decking of this beautiful cabin is such a bonus! The dining space, lounging space and even the hot tub are great vantage points to enjoy the view or just the outdoor air during the beautiful seasons in the Great Smoky Mountains. The owners of this amazing cabin have given such time and effort to detail and craftsmanship in every corner of this property, it's simply breathtaking. We manage a lot of cabins and by far, this is my favorite! The outdoor space is as inviting as the indoor space, two fire pits, the view from the hot tub or the bedrooms, I could go on and on.
