We had a great time staying in Ivy’s Cabin. We spent almost all day there Saturday enjoying the fireplace and the back porch. The highs were in the 40’s with rain and it was perfect. We would definitely recommend this cabin!

The pictures of the front yard is not accurate. There wasn't a fire ring outside. Overall we enjoyed our trip and the comfort of the cabin.

Nice cozy cabin cabin. Well equipped. Roads are a little steep in areas and narrow typical of the mountains but not too bad.

We loved this cabin! The location was great, but definitely want to get there before sundown on your first trip up! It was signed well on the drive up the mountain. The back porch was great for hanging out during those summer afternoon thunderstorms. I would definitely book this cabin again!

Our stay was wonderful and the property was very well kept. The surroundings were beautiful. Only suggestion would be more furniture in the living room area to accommodate larger groups

Excellent cabin for a long peaceful weekend in the mountains. Secluded and great for our dogs to be outside. Would have loved a fire pit to enjoy. Kitchen was well stocked and the cabin was very cozy. Enjoyed the games there which is a nice touch for entertainment while relaxing. Was a little smaller than we thought but that made it cozy and was still enough for us. Would definitely go again. The drive up is steep and bumpy! But part of the charm of the mountains. Thank you for the stay!

The cabin was perfect! Very clean and had everything needed for an enjoyable visit.Only complaint was the fire wood that was left to be used in the fireplace was too big to fit inside the fireplace. Luckily I had brought a few pieces of firewood with me. Also there was no grate to set the wood on so it took longer to get a fire started. We enjoyed everything about the cabin except for the fireplace. I would stay again if we were to visit the area again.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean and beautifully decorated. The scenery of the surrounding area was beautiful. We would definitely stay again. The only thing I could suggest would be more comfortable living room furniture.

Family Trip

Perfect spot

I wish my stay could have been longer! Such a cute cabin with everything you need and in such a perfect location! The hosts were super responsive and extremely accommodating! Beds were comfy, cabin was clean and welcoming. I will definitely come back to Maggie Valley and stay at Ivy’s Cabin again.

When entering the cabin, the smell of musk was very strong. We found a molded spoon in a kitchen drawer. The smell of a dead rodent when opening the cabinet under the sink on the 2nd day. Once the molded spoon was found, we ate out daily. Came back to the cabin on our full day after breakfast to "air it out", hoping to decrease the smell. My family made the decision to stay in place. We all woke up, including the children with headaches and sinus issues daily. The children could not sleep upstairs due to heavy smell of musk. Upon returning home, we contacted Maggie Vacation with our issues at the cabin and pics of the molded spoon. Katie was one of our host whom we contacted. Due to the fact she was not notified of this issue during our stay, she decided to only give us 150 credit. I would not recommend this cabin due to no ventilation, molded issues & rodent (dead) smells. We feel the host were not compassionate about the health issues we endured. 150 is not anywhere close to compensation for our discomfort while there. Airing out did not help the situation . We were there to celebrate a family members birthday. Be aware of this cabin rental and Maggie Vacations.After contacting Katie numerous times via email, she stated the decision was final with no more monies returned. Two nights rental would have been better than 150 refunded. Hopefully, I will see the credit soon! Pic would not load.
