Welcome to Royalty! This 3000 sq ft home is located in the highly sought after community of Bonita, CA. According to "Niche" it is the ninth best suburb to live in San Diego area. Bonita, CA encompasses its very own Golf Course. Every aspect of the house has been selected closely to give the home style and class. Purple and Gold tones are seen throughout the home as purple has been the color of royalty for centuries. Centrally located to all of San Diego's attractions.

Horrible experience

We were excited to book this property for a trip with extended family. As the check in date approached, we had not heard from the property manager regarding arrival instructions. I had tried messaging in the app multiple times, with no response from. Finally, through customer service, we were able to contact him by phone. He said that we’d receive instructions the next day (day of check in) by noon. He was quite rude on the phone. The following day, two hours before our check in time, we got a message saying a pipe burst in the house and we would not be able to stay at the property. When I asked about a refund, the property manager said that he wasn’t responsible for handling that, then he stopped responding to my messages entirely. In every instance of communication with him, he was rude and short with us. We were left with nowhere to take our group of 16 (including 10 children). Eventually, after several phone calls and hours spent on the phone, we did receive a refund. But this was a horrible experience that ruined our entire vacation.

Horrible place and management

First and foremost, when we arrived at the house, there were no lights in the living room and totally did not look like the pictures that are on the website. We were never told, there was no AC. Upon arrival, the refrigerator was broken, the carpet of filthy, the bedsheets and spreads were old and dirty. We found left over food in the cupboards that had fungus on it . When we reached out to the host, no apology nor response. We paid a lot of money for this junk of a house. Do not stay at this place. The utensils and pots and pans were old and rusted.

Dirty and unacceptable accommodations

DO NOT stay here! The place is rundown inside and out despite the furniture looking nice. Here are all the issues we experienced: -Overall uncleanliness. Our feet were black within minutes from just walking indoors after arriving. Counters and bathroom surfaces were unclean. We found pest control left in a kitchen cabinet. Plates were dirty and required us to wash (by hand since no dishwasher). Toilet seat was stained and should have been replaced. What looked like rat feces in kitchen cabinet. -Stains on blankets and see-through sheets, no mattress pads -The house was listed and was paid for as having 16 guests; however, there were only 6 towels available, 3 forks, no serving utensils, and barely any cups. There are not enough chairs to seat even half the amount of people. Kitchen cabinets and drawers were almost all empty without any basics you would need to prepare meals. -The oven has no oven mits -There are pieces of furniture that are not only disgusting but potentially dangerous including this rusted trash can (see photo). -Part of one bunk bed was breaking off. -Lack of air conditioning despite the heat, all windows and doors including the front door need to be opened to stay somewhat cool; listing could have been more explicit about no air conditioning -Door from garage into house was open when we arrived. When closing that door, it made a very loud screeching sound every time. -The breaker tripped twice just from flipping a light switch. We vacated same day.

Worst experience ever

The condition of the property with horrible. It was dirty both inside and out, poorly maintained, and major electrical issues that resulted in lights and the refrigerator not working. Basic amenities were lacking such as hand towels in the bathrooms, a working can opener, silverware, and mattress pads on the beds. The cookware was in such bad shape that the Teflon was flaking off into our food. There were cockroaches and dirty dishes in the cabinets. The only fridge that worked was a small fridge in the garage that was filthy and had spoiled food left in it from previous guests. After contacting the host about the problems, he stopped responding to us.

The house has potential to be better

Although its not listed under the comforts section, it does not mention the house has no air conditioning, it only mentions heat. Where I'm from ac is a must and in every home so I naturally assumed it had it when booking. While it wasn't too hot, it was humid and uncomfortable. Theres a big beautiful refrigerator in the kitchen that doesn't work, you'll have to use the much smaller one in the garage. Only half the lights worked in the kitchen/ living area. The inside looked clean but there were some webs and after minutes of my toddlers running around, the bottoms of their feet turned black. My mom mopped 3 times and the water was still dark. The outside and patio were covered in webs and spiders and made it really hard to feel comfortable. We cleaned it up as much as we could so the family could try to enjoy being outside. The grill and fire place were also dirty and needed cleaning in order to be used. The host messaged back quickly to any questions I had. I did share my concerns about the most recent review before my stay and I was assured that there was nothing to worry about. On the plus side, the family slept well, there was enough space for everyone and the beds were comfortable. Some maintenance, a deep clean and pest control could go a long way. I don't think we should have to spend our vacation time cleaning. Overall, its a nice house with loads of potential.

This home was the most uncomfortable and worse experience. Starting with the property manager not getting me any entrance instructions until I called Vrbo. We arrived at the home and there was no power in half the home. I sent the property manager a message and it took a while before I got a response. He gave me instructions on where to access the breaker. We finally had light and noticed the fridge in the kitchen was not working. We had snacks for the kids that needed refrigeration. We opened it and it was hot, dirty and it smelled terrible. I messaged the property manager to let him know about the fridge and all he said was, there’s a fridge in the garage we can use. We then entered the garage and it smelled like rat urine and noticed a few run out as we walked in. There were spider webs all over the home the carpet smells like urine. One of the bathroom tubs was full dead spiders. In the morning there were roaches and other insects in the kitchen. The fire detectors had no battery of cover and the kitchen had very minimal cooking supplies. If you plan on baking a cake you’ll have nothing to put it together. The whole house looked like it has not been cleaned in ages. Looks like an abandoned home from the inside and the outside. The landscaping was not kept up and the grill, fire pit and outdoor furniture were extremely dirty. The home says it can sleep 16 people which it can, however there are only 4 dining chairs in a very large dining table. I do not recommend.

Family vacation

When we arrived the check-in was easy. The house was exactly as pictured. Large home and comfortable for a group of 16. The master bedroom had 2 large bed and the beds had silk sheets and the bathroom was amazing. The other room had 2 bunk beds three beds each and the other room was nice also with a large bed. The kitchen was clean and nice, large living room and 3 large televisions. And the back yard was really amazing well kept and large fire pit and grill and comfortable seats. Over all we were satisfied.
