Casa Puesta del Sol er en dejlig to-etagers hjem kendt for sin solnedgang terrasse og charmerende mexicanske indretning. Dens beliggenhed på en bjergtop tilbyder spektakulær udsigt over det krystalklare Stillehavet. Punktet niveau er vært for et komplet køkken, spiseplads, pulver værelse og stue med glasdøre åbner op til den ekspansive terrasse. Terrassen har en udendørs bar, BBQ og lounger, hvor du kan slappe af, mens du ser havets bølger og sandstrand nedenfor. Den nedenunder niveau består af to soveværelser: en konge og to tvillinger (som kan konverteres til en konge). Hvert værelse har en privat bad, air-condition, og skydedøre åbner ud til endnu en terrasse med fantastisk havudsigt. Den havudsigt pool er omgivet et græsareal med parasoller og liggestole. Beautiful home, great location

Amazing casa by the sea

We had an amazing week at Casa Puesta del Sol. Hanging out by the pool was so lovely with the views of the ocean, and the beach (which may as well have been private) was just around the corner. The house has everything you need and Franco was a great and helpful host. I would definitely recommend booking Casa Puesta del Sol if you will be in San Pancho.

Excellent place to rent in San Pancho

My family and I just enjoyed a week at the Casa Puesta del Sol. The house is beautiful and it's location above the beach is perfect. There is a steep and windy hill that was somewhat of a challenge for the pickup we rented to get up, but it's only a 15 minute walk into town. Service was generally great from Juan Franco. He stopped by everyday and took care of the few issues that came up, such as a leak in the upstairs bathroom. Housecleaning was great, and the casa is well furnished for linens and kitchen materials. The only issue that really arose for us is that the barbecue was borderline unusable. It had not been cleaned, but even after I cleaned it, the grate was so rusted out that we didn't use it. All in all, this was a wonderful place that we would gladly stay again. There is some construction happening nearby, but it wasn't overly distracting during the day. San Pancho has construction everywhere right now, so it's not avoidable. It's still a great place for a relaxing vacation.

Great house with stunning views, SanPancho is quaint with a nice low key vibe

Three of us spent 10 days at Casa Puesta Del Sol and loved every minute!The whole experience of the casa, the quant town and the beach was exactly what we wanted.San Pancho is exactly we hoped it would be, laid back with a nice cool vibe and good restaurants.The beach was great for long walks.We also explored Lo Demarco, a small town with beach about a 15 minute drive north which we also enjoyed. The Casa was great! We had everything we needed for a very comfortable experience.The location of the casa made for amazing views of the ocean, watching those beautiful sunsets and enjoying the awesome starry nights! I would highly recommend Casa Puesta. We took advantage of Franco to cook for us one night which was very enjoyable, cooked meals ourselves and always enjoyed breakfast on the outdoor terrace as we watched the sun come up.We explored a number of restaurants in town but have to say Hotel Cielo Rojo really had the best meals. Everything is there that you'd need, great pool, comfortable lounge chairs and for the beach there were chairs an umbrella and beach towels with the beach only a 5 minute walk down the hill. Also took advantage of going to the local market, great local produce and baked goods, a nice afternoon local experience with local crafts and entertainment. Our only complaint were the pillows and the linens on the beds which could be replaced with higher quality ones.The beds were comfortable and none of us felt the need to use the AC for the duration of out stay. We’d hoped to dine at Mar the Plata down the street to experience something really close to home but unfortunately it was closed.This is a landmark that is crucial to finding the right route up to Casa Puesta. Arriving in the dark made it difficult finding the place but this was mostly due to arriving at night in the dark. Couldn't have asked for a better vacation then our stay here and will definitely be back!!

Stunning Ocean View

Morning ritual - watching Pelicans fish from out hillside perch, evening - looking at amazing star filled skies. This is a beautiful 3 level home with pool that climbs up a hillside overlooking the north end of San Pancho's bay. There was construction next door - not a issue most of the time but there was one afternoon of concrete bashing and drilling that was noisy. The house is on a steep narrow street for about 2 blocks, then and a mile walk to the city center. This town has amazing streetside restaurants. We were there for the San Pancho Music Festival and walked back and forth everyday/evening. House manager was attentive and nice. Only fault was a water pressure problem (gravity fed) inherent to the way the house was built. Excellent value for this experience.

Peaceful spot!

We enjoyed our stay at the house, and loved walking to town via the beach. Takes about 25 minutes and is a better route than walking the road we thought. Juan Franco was kind and helpful. We will be back!

Some aspects great - some terrible

There are excellent aspects to the house but also some strong negatives. First the good: as everyone notes, Franco is superb. He is helpful and giving of his time and energy - he is an amazing asset to the experience. The house is great being on 3 levels so everywhere you feel connected to the ocean. The birds fly by and being in the treetops is delightful. Now the bad: there is construction going on IMMEDIATELY adjacent to the house. There is soil excavation and concrete foundation wall jackhammering, every working day from 8 -5 o'clock. You can't stay in the house to enjoy the ocean - you have to leave for your sanity. Soon they'll start pouring concrete walls, so the noise will continue for a few months, and then the hammering will start. It wouldn't be so bad except that the new construction is in a gulley and the sound amplifies upwards to you. I called San Pancho Realty on our first day there to complain that the website should have noted construction nearby, and got a half-hearted 'refer to the terms and conditions' response. They said they monitored the properties , but clearly construction had been going on for a few months already (the hillside was gone with excavation already) so that monitoring isn't translating into letting prospective renters know what they won't get - peace and quiet during the day. This is not a good way to inspire guest loyalty. Note to the agents - hotels let prospective guests know of on-going loud noise construction, and you should have also.

A very special location near the ocean and village of San Pancho!

We loved our stay at Casa Puesta del Sol! It was the perfect get-away with amazing ocean views and an enjoyable walk to town on the road or via the beach. The house itself was beautifully appointed, charming, cozy and welcoming. We especially enjoyed the large deck overlooking the crashing waves on the nearby beach. We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful and relaxing stay

My wife and I spent 6-nights in this beautiful home. From the perfect view, to the indoor and outdoor open spaces, to the wonderful artwork and great overall layout of the home. Franco was a great host making certain we had everything we needed during our stay. We will definitely be back.

Perfect setting

Wonderful home set up high overlooking the bay. Great privacy. Palms for shade right down on the quiet beach. Nice walk to town. Franco (caretaker) is a prince.

Happy Place

I almost hate to write this review, because we liked this house so much I want to keep it secret. We were two couples, which this house is pretty perfect for as the bedrooms are private and quiet and each of them have a great view (and also their own bathrooms). The house is lovely, simple, comfortable, peaceful. Everything is well thought out. The kitchen is small and equipped with what you need but maybe not great if you plan to do a lot of your own cooking. Skip it and eat in town at all the great local places. Enjoy the patio and terrace and pool and the beautiful beautiful view, and even the walk up the steep hill (good for your calves!). Can't wait to go back.

Wonderful House, Terrific Beach Town

Just returned from a 10 day stay at Casa Puesta Del Sol with my husband and two kids (9 & 12) and we had a wonderful stay. The sound of waves and incredible views of the ocean were available in every room plus the 3 decks of the house gave us plenty of outdoor space for eating and relaxing - our kids loved the pool. Caretaker, Juan Franco was very attentive when anything wasn't perfect and the two dinners he cooked for us were amazing! Highly recommend this house, but be aware of several flights of stairs and a steep cobblestone road down to the beach - not a big deal for my family, and I loved the daily short walk to the beach - but if you have a toddler or trouble walking I'd consider a house right on the beach. All in all our recent vacation was one of our best.

The Good Life in San Pancho

Casa Puesta Del Sol has it all... beautiful ocean views, soothing ocean sounds, and plenty of space in the well appointed home and on the sun drenched decks. A short 2 minute walk down the cobblestone road to the pristine and uncrowded beach and a 1 minute walk to the unique and wonderful Mar Plata restaurant. The pool at Casa Puesta Del Sol is great for a quick cool dip after soaking up rays on the on the lounge chairs. Walk into San Pancho via the road or along the beach to enjoy other unique local restaurants and Taqeria's. We keep going back to San Pancho and to Casa Puesta Del Sol. Trust me - you'll love it!
