BEDROOMS:

Experience the District as POTUS would! Our apartment has 7 bedrooms, including 2 master bedrooms, and can sleep up to 14 guests.



Bedroom 1: The Lincoln Room

Discover a space that pays homage to his legacy, complete with a modern take on furnishings and décor that evoke 19th-century luxury. Enjoy a King-sized green tea memory foam mattress, plush pillows, luxury sheets, and a grand canopy bed. The room also includes a loveseat, Roku TV, dresser, and large closet space.



Bedroom 2: The Reagan Retreat

Styled with vintage cowboy memorabilia, weathered leather accents, and rich earthy tones, this room embodies Reagan's passion for the rugged beauty of the open range. It features a Queen-sized green tea memory foam mattress with luxurious bedding.



Bedroom 3: Roosevelt's Oasis

This room celebrates the adventurous spirit of Theodore Roosevelt. Divided into a bedroom and game room, it offers a Queen-sized memory foam mattress and entertainment options like foosball, a retro arcade machine, Giant Connect 4, and a chalkboard wall.



Bedroom 4: The Washington Suite

Premium white noise machines and earplugs are available in each bedroom to ensure a great night's sleep!



BATHROOMS:

Ensuite Bathroom: Attached to the second-floor master bedroom, with shower, toilet, sink, and vanity space.



Second Full Bathroom: Combination shower and bathtub, toilet, sink, and shelving for toiletries.



Third Floor Full Bathroom: Similar to the second, with added counter space.



Half Bath: Includes a pedestal sink and toilet.



Fourth Floor Full Bathroom: Combination shower and bathtub, toilet, sink, and shelving unit.



We provide essentials like toilet paper, towels, shampoo, soap, a magnifying mirror, makeup remover wipes, and facial cleansing cloths. A hair dryer is also available.



KITCHEN:

After long days exploring, head to one of TWO fully equipped, updated kitchens with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and gas ranges. Start your morning at the coffee bar with a Keurig, French press, fresh grounds, or a selection of teas. Cooking essentials, full place settings, and cleaning supplies (including a dishwasher) are provided.



If the idea of preparing a meal has you shaking in your boots, then have no fear - we're surrounded by DC's most popular restaurants, cafes and bars, many within walking distance. We're happy to share recommendations!



Feel free to use the energy-efficient Samsung washer and dryer as needed during your stay - and we'll provide the laundry pods!

Free parking for 4 vehicles: 2 spaces in our private, secure driveway at the rear of the property and 2 on-street permits.

No car? No problem, our central location means you'll be walking distance from some of DC's most popular eateries and shops. The closest metro station is a 6-minute walk away.



PLEASE NOTE

Should accessibility need to be considered, stairs are required to access the Capitol Castle. The Capitol Castle spans 3 levels, requiring several flights of stairs to be climbed. We kindly ask that you take this into consideration when booking. We also recommend dropping off luggage in front of the home upon arrival, before parking around the back in the private driveway.

The home’s main entrance and the unit's entrance have a keypad entry system which will allow you to navigate the city without the worry of misplacing a key. All entry codes are altered after checkout, providing guests with safety and security.

To help us continue providing an excellent space and superior service, guests must read and adhere to these house rules prior to booking. These rules are not designed to restrict you, but to maintain a safe, comfortable environment so you can fully enjoy the property and we can continue offering a high standard of hospitality. Anyone who lives locally within the Capital region (DMV) or surrounding areas must communicate with us prior to booking.



🚭 NO SMOKING

We are a completely smoke-free property. A $1,000 minimum fee will be charged if there is any sign of smoking on the premises, or if smoking is suspected and/or evidence is found using disclosed exterior security cameras.



🎉🚫 NO PARTIES / NO UNAPPROVED GUESTS

No parties. No additional guests allowed unless approved by hosts. Violation of this rule will result in a minimum fine of $500 and termination of the reservation with all remaining nights paid forfeited.

⚠️ NOISE MONITORING AND CAMERA DISCLOSURE

There are cameras on the exterior of the home. They are motion activated, record video and audio, and are active during reservations. There is also a decibel monitoring device located inside and outside the home. This is a smart device that measures decibel levels only and allows us to respond to loud and sustained volumes that may cause a disturbance. It does NOT record conversation or audio, it only measures decibel levels. This helps us to avoid unauthorized events / parties. Our goal is for our guests and neighbors to both have an enjoyable experience!



🤫 QUIET HOURS

10PM-8AM: You MUST keep noise to a minimum from 10pm to 8am every day of the week. Violation of this rule will result in a minimum fine of $500 and termination of the reservation with all remaining nights paid forfeited.



During quiet hours, the maximum allowable noise level is 60 dB outside and 75 dB inside.



At all hours, management reserves the right to determine whether guest activity is creating a disturbance to neighbors, tenants, or other guests. Sustained disturbances — whether or not they exceed numerical dB thresholds — shall constitute a violation of House Rules.



A reference for noise levels, measured in dB, is provided below for your awareness:

**50-60 dB - Normal conversation

**61-70 dB - Dinner party or loud TV

**71-80 dB - Party

**81-90 dB - Loud party

**91+ dB - Very loud party / amplified
