We stayed at the cabin with our dog and two friends. It's clean, cozy, and near everything we wanted to do. The neighborhood is quiet and feels like you're in the woods. The property manager was responsive and helpful (thanks, Katie!). We enjoyed our stay!

Overall, very positive experience. Was comfortable, quiet, and relaxing, Books, DVDs, and board games are available for guests along with some exercise equipment. 2 main floor bedrooms and 2 more beds in loft.Kitchen had everything we needed and grill is available outside.Place was very clean, but only downside was that there were several ants inside. Owner was very helpful bringing traps and spray very soon without waiting. We did not see any after that. To be fair, owner said that she had not had the problem before.Short walk to lake along the roads, but other than boat launch, lake access is private property.Pet friendly was a plus for us.

The cabin was really quiet, quite spacious, (mostly) well-apportioned and was well located for easy access to local attractions. The only real drawback was the lack of outside seating - for example, there is no outside table for use while grilling - there were plenty of chairs for sitting around the fire-ring, but no table. When we grilled we ended up having to eat inside. Otherwise, the place was great!

Cute cabin

Our family of five, three teenagers, and two dogs enjoyed the location of this house. Perfect place for a relaxing vacation close to many dog friendly beaches.

Things were great. At first the check in stated to meet someone in person which made me nervous because we drive 12 hours but it ended up having no issues and we could check in on our time needs! The space was a great up north cottage. We loved going for walks and relaxing. We cooked a lot of our meals there and they had everything we needed. Communication was nice with the local manager. We did not use the fireplace because it was not a wood one (others just make me nervous) but everything we did use was awesome. My husband was even able to use the desk area for his work days. The loft would be great if we traveled with more people but we did not need it either. Great spot!

Perfect little getaway

The cabin was so cute and cozy. Everything was super clean and linens on the beds were fresh and clean. Would definitely recommend this place and will probably go back again

Crystal lake cabin in the woods

Loved our short stay, the warmth and smell of the knotty pine and cedar interior is pure Michigan! Bed was comfy, living space was cozy for watching a movie and relaxing. Will definitely recommend.

Quiet, relaxing weekend

We enjoyed our stay. The cabin is comfortable and offered the perfect amount of space for our family of 6 and our puppy. The surrounding area is quiet and beautiful. Crystal Lake is gorgeous and the neighbors are friendly. We can’t wait to return.

Rustic, quiet and nice

The place was rustic but nice. We did have to shovel our way in, the snow on the walk was fairly deep and slippery. Enjoyed our stay. VRBO always has a lot of charges that add on to the listed cost per night that are kind of annoying.

Cozy Retreat

Spent 3 days on a personal retreat in the quiet. Everything was so cozy and comfortable. Was joined by a friend on the last day and had a blast. Although small, the cabin has a very practical layout and is a great gathering place. I would love to return!

My dog and I loved The Cabin. Very cozy and comfortable. And well positioned for all the things we wanted to do.The manager, Jean was very helpful when I couldn’t figure out how to turn on the furnace. She was always there for any problems or questions that I might’ve had.Highly recommended…
