This multi-level retreat is perfect for large families and groups looking for a breezy place to stay! The main living space is located on the third level, offering a bright and airy open floor plan. Surprise your loved ones with delicious homemade meals and treats prepared in the well-appointed kitchen and then retreat to the welcoming living area, furnished with comfy sofas and a smart TV with streaming services. This level boasts one bedroom, a cozy screened balcony with a dining area, and an open deck with seating.

The middle floor enjoys three additional bedrooms and an inviting sunroom with a bubbly hot tub, a swing, and a dining table. The primary suite can be found on this level, offering an en suite bath and a smart TV. The lower level is all about entertainment with a dedicated game room, boasting a foosball table, a shuffleboard table, plenty of comfy seating, a smart TV, and a mini-fridge. Additional perks include a designated laundry room with a washer/dryer on the lower level.

Great location

We enjoyed our stay. It was in a great location and close to everything. When we arrived the AC on the top floor was not working. They were out fast trying to rectify the situation so that it did not impact our trip too much. They also fixed the router to the tv. They were prompt and helpful. We will definitely stay there again.

Great location

The house was pretty. I needed to call 4x for the AC on the top floor to be fixed. Called Vacasa customer service and the tech came out very quickly and wanted to put in some window units in which would have taken care of the 80 degree heat on the main common area where we spent a lot of time. He was not but authorized to do so and 2 more calls and after 2 days it was completed. The water pressure is less to be desired. Overall great location to the beach and everything else without hearing tons of traffic from main road. Quiet neighborhood.

Perfect location

House was ready and very clean. We had my family plus dogs for Thanksgiving. There was plenty of room for everyone to sit and eat. The listing said the master bedroom has a king bed…it’s a queen which made it difficult for us older grandparents. The game room was great but the tv downstairs didn’t work. The sun porches and hot tub were a nice bonus. We had to cook our turkey at my son’s house because the oven is extremely small, actually two small ovens instead. I would rent this property again.

Christmas vacation

Overall we had a great time and the location of the property was excellent! However, there were problems with the listing like the size of the beds. I feel like they were full-size beds instead of the King and Queens listed. My 80 year old parents along with the other two couples had to share these beds and it was very uncomfortable. The linens did not fit the beds and there were no comforters or any quality blankets. Also, the dining room table had chairs that felt like they were going to fall apart. Honestly I would go back to this property if I knew they would update the beds, linens and furniture. I loved the size of the house and the location. We did make lots of wonderful memories!

Great house sized for a large group, walkable to the beach

We weren't sure what to expect, because there weren't very many reviews of the property and we booked through a different website. However, it ended up being an excellent place to stay, and worked well for our multi generational family of 4 adults and 2 children. The pros: The proximity to the public beach access was great- we walked to the beach everyday. There was also a convenience store/deli that was helpfully walkable. The shuffleboard, hot tub. enclosed decks and backyard (with grill) were great, and the house had all the bedrooms and bathrooms we needed for our larger crew. We appreciated that they provided the linens and towels, and had a very simple check in and check out process. They also had shampoo/conditioner/detergent/dish soap packages that they provided, which was a nice touch. Things to consider: Previous posters have also noted that there weren't many - or very heavy - blankets on the beds, and we found a few extra bed stuffs in the closets but no pillowcases or other linens with which to cover them. The chairs around the kitchen table are rickety, and there are some welcome notes that seem outdated (it talks about how you can rent Playstation games for their playstation but that probably went away when Blockbusters went bankrupt, and that were are games/movies available for guests, which we didn't find). We also couldn't figure out how to get the plumbing to work on the outdoor shower, and just used the hose outside instead to rinse. None of these things were really much of an issue for us, and so we didn't reach out to the management company about them, but they may be worth noting for future guests. The only important concern is that the main floor- where there is a bedroom, bathroom, living room and kitchen- can get hot on 90 degree plus days, and the air conditioning doesn't seem to be able to cool it down, even though it's really effective on the other floors. It wasn't until later in the evening that the temperature on that floor is able to fall to the temps set by the AC unit, though the adult that stayed in the top floor bedroom said that the ceiling fan helped make it feel cooler. All in all, it was a great stay and we'd happily recommend the place to our friends.

Okay stay but not accurate listing

Property not as listed. No king size bed. Lots of things broken. Lightbulbs burnt out in entire upstairs ceiling and 2 bedrooms. Not enough chairs at table and 2 of 5 were broken. Internet kept disconnecting and no tv service. I want to have all the amenities i am expecting and pay for. This did not happen. Could be very nice place to stay if rental company took time to care for property.

Nice home

The house was nice and clean upon our arrival. Only thing to note is the information provided in the binder at the house is not up-to-date/accurate. It seems like many of the appliances have been updated since the binder was created and a new wifi router was installed. You have to look at the back of the router to find the network name and password. It would save future guests time if this sort of information was updated. Overall a good experience!

OBX family vacation

Beautiful, spacious home conveniently located to all the places we wanted to go. We went to the beach, the sound, the aquarium, Jockey's Ridge and Kitty Hawk Kites. And it was all dog friendly.
