Anniversary getaway

We really enoyes this condo. Smaller complex so easy to park and get around. It's on the 5th floor and had great views. It's right on the water. We were allowed early access and able to pay for half a day for late check out. The condo itself was roomy, had everything you needed, and comfortable.

EXCELLENT!

This property is an excellent location for travelling all around the island! Well equipped condo with beautiful balcony view and easy access to sandy beach. Nice pool. Plenty of nearby restaurants, farmer's markets, convenience store, grocery store and anything else you might need for a comfortable stay. Resort staff was very friendly and offered useful suggestions for activities, restaurants, etc. Our check in and check out processes were smooth and easy. We would definitely stay here again!

Nice condo!

Very nice condo EXCEPT AIR CONDITIONING not working very good. Just barely cool! Dryer is a steam dryer so take a long time to dry clothes! Mattress on pull out sofa very hard.

We had a great vacation. Great location in the middle of Maui. The beach right outside the complex. So nice to sleep every night listening to the waves crashing.

Perfect Maui Getaway

Our family of 6 stayed in this condo for a week and had an amazing time. The condo was clean and had all the amenities of home when we checked in. There was an initial issue with the A/C and they had someone there within 20 minutes to fix it. The views were breathtaking and it literally felt like we had our own private beach. When the kids got tired of the ocean, the pool kept them busy for hours. The property management was very friendly and reminded us several times to let them know if there was anything we needed. The location was ideal for our family. The farmers market directly across the street offered fresh produce daily. There was an amazing bakery, shaved ice, and ABC store all across the street as well. We will definitely book this property again the next time we visit Maui. Literally zero complaints about this booking!

Base camp Kihei

Great condo. We planned this trip at the last minute and found this condo in Kihei. We have never been to Maui and weren’t sure what to expect with this location. We found it to be nice and centrally located. It’s only 15 min from the airport on a slow day. It’s 20 min from Wailea-Makena beaches like big beach and there is a restored fish pond just 4 min down the beach that has turtles in it that you can just wade in and see. The space in the condo is inviting and well appointed. The kitchen is well stocked with kitchen wares but this was the first time that there wasn’t even salt as pepper as far as seasoning go in the condo. It was very clean. Alili resorts were very attentive in welcoming us and addressing the few issues we had. We requested extra towels and they were there within an hour and the same when we asked for a beach chair to replace one that was broken when we arrived. Let’s talk about the bedrooms the master with the en-suite is used as the kids room. So that room has two twin beds in it. The master has a king but has to use the bathroom in the hall ,which is right outside the bedroom door. I see the reasoning as it gives you a beautiful view of the ocean from the master. Pros: You are directly on the beach, very well located with an ABC market, bake shop and shave ice across the street. Restaurants minutes down the road. Central location from the top to the bottom of the island. Pool was wonderful but small. Walking on the beach was beautiful. Plush towels both beach and bath. Beach chairs for you to use. Large fridge. WI-FI was great and cable TV was nice. Cons: Let’s talk about the air conditioning. I reserved this condo because It has AC. This sounds whinny and like a first world complaint but the AC was never able to bring the condo under 80F. I did address this with the management company and they said it’s just the type of AC that it is. The twin beds are hard as a rock. The ocean is very smooth in the morning but the waves crash very loudly on the beach all day and night and by afternoon the waves are too rough to swim in as an adult . Can’t see this being great for kids. The grounds were well kept but the power raked all the grass off by the pool on day two so we tracked dirt in which was annoying but not a reason not to rent this condo. Overall we had great experience renting this condo. We would even consider renting it again.

Centrally located to explore all of Maui. Well stocked condo as described. Right on the beach and a nice pool. Access to outside grills was huge.

Lovely condo beachfront!

Our experience was very satisfactory! condo was well stocked, clean, nice quality towels. Company was very responsive to needs. Couldn’t have asked for a more lovely place to vacation. Condo was centrally located for all activities.

Awesome location & condo

The beach is very clean & not many people. The condo is clean & well stocked. The bathrooms are very nice. The sleeper sofa is comfortable. The kitchen had all kinds of dishes & cookware. Plenty of towels in bathrooms & well stocked with paper products. There is a bakery, shaved ice & farmers market across the street. It’s a quiet area which we enjoyed. There were 5 of us, 2 of which were children. I contacted the resort once with s question and they were very quick to respond. The grounds are well maintained. I would stay at this condo again.

Fantastic Family Getaway

We are fans! This unit was lovely and perfect for a family of four. In general, Kihei is a great location. It's definitely low key and quiet compared to the Northern part of the island. We scheduled day trips every other day - nothing is too far away. With two kids and two adults, the extra space worked out well and the kitchen made it easy to feed hungry teenagers. The beach is beautiful, the view from the balcony is perfect, the pool was nice to swim a few laps and the bakery and farmers market across the street topped off the trip. The only drawback, which my teens didn't really notice, would be the bright light in the bedroom. We would stay here again.

Beautiful View and ocean sounds!

This place was perfect for our family of 4 (2 teens) The pics are exactly what you get even the views! I found it to be centrally located and it was very clean. Other than the noisy ceiling fan in the master bedroom, it was awesome. Had I called on the fan I’m sure they would have been right out to fix it. Bonus flavored ice, fruit stand, bakery and store right across the street!

Beautiful and right on the beach!!

The only reason it got 4 stars instead of 5 is because I stayed in the “other room” and that room needs some serious help. I went with my dad, so he stayed in the beautiful room looking out at the ocean. I stayed in the room with twin beds, which has its own bathrooms, but the room is off the condos outdoor hallway, so the curtains were shut during the day making it dark, but then right next to the outdoor light making it bright bright bright at night. The beds (I tired both hoping one would be softer) were so hard I had bruised hips. I think if you’re a back sleeper it would be fine though, but I would highly suggest they invest $100, go on overstock.com, buy a king size memory foam topper and cut it in half and put one on each bed. Basically I slept horribly, but if you’re not sleeping in there you would rate it 5 stars or more if that were an option! Great kitchen and they have laundry too. I would run on the beach every am and then go watch the sea turtles eat breakfast off the little jetty, dreamy. Seriously the place is great (minus the room I was in). If the beds were softer I could have slept through the lights easy.

RIght on the beach! What a view. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony every evening. This was an excellent location, both on a sandy beach and on Maui overall. Comfortable beds, plenty of room. Great appliances. Highly recommend.

Lovely condo! Great views and direct access to beach

My husband and two teenage sons and I stayed in this condo for six nights and had a wonderful time. It is located at the north end of Kihei, so about a 10 drive from the busier south where most of the restaurants, etc. are located, but driving routes are easily accessible from here. We loved that the building was situated right on the beach (something you can't seem to get further south in Kihei), and that we didn't have to cross a street to get to it. There is a very nice pool area, and the building and grounds are very well-maintained. The condo itself was perfect for us. We kept saying how lucky we were to have to best view on the whole beach! The master bedroom has a nice king-sized bed and has ample closet space for a week's stay. The second bedroom has two twin-sized beds that were comfortable for our two tall teens, and that room even had an ensuite with shower, so we didn't have to share a bathroom with them. The living/dining areas are comfortably furnished, and the kitchen was one of the best-equipped that we've seen in a VRBO rental. We received a basket of coffee with sugar and creamer to get us through the first morning, and there are some spices in the cupboard, but as a previous reviewer stated, there were no other condiments or the like in the fridge or cupboards, so if you're staying here you might want to consider packing a few staples to get you through. If not, there is an ABC store directly across the street where you can buy virtually everything you need (milk, bread, eggs, luncheon meat, mustard, etc.), as well as the farmer's market for fresh produce. And what a treat to have the Sugar Beach Bake Shop so close, which I would wander over to every morning to buy a fresh-baked scone or muffin for breakfast! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this condo for your stay - the next time we are back in Maui, we would definitely book here!

Amazing View - Great Stay

My wife and I stayed at this condo for 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. The pictures are accurate/up to date as of this review. This condo is in a great location. It is just north of the busy part of Kihei, but has easy access to the main routes in Maui. Like the other reviewers stated, the view is spectacular, and while more than three feet from the water, I'm pretty sure I could have thrown a rock into the water from the balcony had it not been against condo rules. The sound of the surf at night in the bedroom was great, if not a bit loud with the window open. You could easily hear it even with the windows closed. In the interest of full disclosure, and if it matters, the master bedroom mattress either started its life on the soft side, or has been in service a while. Parking is similar to ALL other locations on Maui - parking spaces tend to be quite narrow. So you may want to think twice before renting that big car or SUV. Breakfast every morning on the lanai was a real treat. I would not hesitate to recommend this unit, with one very minor caveat. My previous experience with vrbo rentals has been there is typically leftovers/goodies or sometimes a welcome basket that can get you by until the next day. We arrived on a late flight, and found the only food items in the kitchen were starter coffee/tea and some very basic spices in the cabinet. The brand new (and massive) refrigerator was absolutely empty. It turned out to be a very minor quibble since there was *coffee* and there was also a farmers market across the street with fruit and yummy breads. We had a great time at the condo.

Outstanding Condo!

We were extremely pleased with this condo. It was our first time visiting Hawaii so we didn’t know what to expect. The condo was as pictured and located right on the beach. All the comforts of home and centrally located with access to everything. The view pictured is completely accurate. Beautiful view of the beach, ocean and sunsets. When we visit Maui again we will definitely stay here.

Awesome and beyond expectations!

We were visiting Maui for the first time and quite weary of staying in any condo as we have never done that and there were no reviews for this specific unit.We decided to look as we have kids now and ABSOLUTELY wanted to have a beach view. We were not disappointed at all. This was a GREAT place to stay. Outside: Easily found. Ample parking. Right across is a convenience store and a farmers market that has most day to day items. Right next door is Maui canoe club which has canoeing for $30 per person (goes to charity). Must do. It looked like any normal apartment complex with a single elevator. Walking on the fifth floor from the elevator to the unit you get a great view of the mountains and Kehei town. Although at first look it may feel like being on a motel walkway it is quickly quelled by the stone side wall and the sounds of the ocean waves and the breeze! The door opens with a number code which is helpful as I have tendency to lose keys :-) Once you open the door you immediately realize that you did ok with booking this condo and once you see the view you are elated! You enter in to the kitchen which is very well equipped with all the noted amenities above. They also have a blender and at our mention Barabara immediately arranged for a rice cooker too. There are plates, cups, utensils everything you need in the kitchen The living room has plenty of space and is exactly as shown in the pictures. Well equipped with cable TV (it was playoff weekend with championship games...) internet etc... Then comes the real delight the balcony and the GREAT view. The pictures above do not do any justice but I understand it is difficult to capture short of posting a video. You hear the waves crashing and then look below -- the beach is RIGHT in front of you- literally 3 feet away!!! We had taken many a long walks on several beaches in Maui and can guarantee you that there is no other condo that is closer to the beach than this. From the lanai you can also see the ocean and occasionally whales and turtles. The view of the mountains with windmills and the clouds passing by is really great. The bedroom and bathrooms were also as the pictures show. There are ample clocks with alarms along with one iphone charging station. Finally they have beach chairs, towels and a common space with pool and beachbeds. All in all you cannot go wrong taking this condo with its perfect location.
