Stunning Villa

I stayed at Villa Soline with my family for 5 nights and had a wonder time. The property is stunning, with an incredibly infinity pool and breathing views. The kitchen is well stocked, and the host is very responsive and helpful. We booked dinner through the host and it was incredible, they made it a very special night for us. We can’t wait to return! 5 Stars.

Five Star property

This absolutely exceeded our expectations. The villa was beautiful and Boris and Katia were the perfect hosts - both went out of their way to ensure that we had everything we needed. We arranged a dinner for our first night there and Katia was an amazing cook (I think we’ll be talking about that meal for years to come)! The 2 breakfasts that we had there were also fantastic! I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this to anyone looking for a place to stay near Dubrovnik. There were quite a few stairs to get to the villa and down to the beach but I am definitely not in great shape and I had no problem getting around. As well, we didn't gave a vehicle but were able to travel easily through taxis and Uber. We are fortunate to have travelled extensively but quite honestly, this was probably the nicest place that we’ve ever stayed at and the highlight of our European family vacation!

Loved meeting Boris and Katija, they are superhosts, willing to help with booking excursions, and had a wonderful meal prepared by star chef Katija. The home has been in their family for couple generations and yet in great condition , clean and amenities in the kitchen are far above normal rentals. The infinity pool saved us from the summer heat. We had 9 guests total and everyone had nothing but positive to say. My mother who is close to 80 was able to navigate the steps to and from the house to the street. But just a note for those who are infirm or handicapped know that there are approximately 20-30 steps to descend to arrive at the villa. Walking further down the steps 5 minutes there is a relatively private rocky beach which is clean and sea urchins, hermit crabs and fish can be seen in the calm waters of the Adriatic Sea. Bring bug spray if you are coming in the summer as mosquitoes are prevalent. We would book this again if the chance to visit comes in the future. This is a wonderful location and five stars is deserving!

Great vacation

Great and professional host, who goes "the extra mile" to make your stay as great as possible. Amazing villa which includes everything you need for a great stay.Good distance to Cavtat and Dubrovnik. Extraordinary!

- Very well-appointed for large groups, including those who are interested in preparing their own meals. There is plenty of room for gathering but also a lot of tucked away spaces for quiet moments. Large groups can dine inside or outside. - The owners are very warm and welcoming. Boris and Katija are willing to share their extensive knowledge of the area and connect guests to businesses that can provide experiences beyond the well-publicized tourist events. - The location is perfect for those seeking a quiet, relaxing oasis that is still a convenient location for accessing many activities. - House is in excellent condition, with attention to detail - not to mention the infinity pool and a short walk to the beach. Taxi's, Uber or private cars can transport you to activities. An Extraordinary Experience.

Beautiful villa and setting

The owner and his wife were hospitable andd helpful. The villa was superb. The view from the pool was amazing overlooking the bay. The villa was beautiful with excellent facilities. The nearby beach picturesque. We had a fantastic family holiday, a perfect venue to escape and recharge.

Amazing Villa, fabulous location

Boris and Katija are lovely people and fabulous hosts. We knew throughout our 11 day stay that they were on call whenever we needed anything and they offered us excellent itinerary advice. Their villa is top class - we have stayed in many, and none beats Villa Soline. Their property description is accurate so I won't waste words - it is large, luxurious, private, has the best possible facilities (the pool is even better than the photos suggest) with breathtaking views across the sea. We loved it. Location is great - a short taxi/car trip to local towns - we would highly recommend the historic and beautiful Cavtat for a stroll, watch the sunset, cocktails, dinners.... Cavtat is also easy and convenient for scheduled boat trips into Dubrovnik old town and the islands (Lokrum is a must see). Also saves fighting the traffic into Dubrovnik. The villa is also a short walk down steps to a secluded pebble beach with stunning views and calm clear waters. Being August, there were a small number of local visitors on the beach - but it still felt very private, not at all 'commercialised'. We had such a great holiday with our teenage daughters and I couldn't recommend the villa and the hosts more highly. We rarely visit any holiday destination twice, but it will be difficult to resist another stay at Villa Soline.....

Villa Soline

Excellent standard of facilities and comfort and a beautiful pool setting. The villa was extremely spacious even for 9 people. The Hosts were very welcoming, helpful and informative about the local area.
