There is something for everyone here plus the whole group will enjoy easy access to everything from this centrally located home.

Start each morning in this cozy home with the complimentary coffee bar where you can enjoy your beverage inside at the table or sip and relax on the porch.

There are 3 Bedrooms (2 upstairs and 1 downstairs) all with comfortable bedding and pillows and dressers/cubbies for clothing storage.

1&1/2 Bathrooms (full bathroom downstairs, half bathroom upstairs) The bathroom upstairs has a closet behind the curtains for hanging needs. The bathroom downstairs will hold all of your bathroom needs: small first aid kit, shampoo, conditioner, body bar, makeup wipes, cotton rounds and swabs, one extra tooth brush in case someone forgets, lotion and pain relief medication.

Plenty of yard space for grilling or playing volleyball/badminton/cornhole/bocce ball or just hanging out around the campfire. The yard space is also great for putting blankets down at night to gaze up at the starry night sky.

- 4 min drive from the town of Egg Harbor
- 2 min drive from the Fun Park
- 6 min drive from Door County Coffee & Tea Co.
- 4 min drive from Frank E. Murphy County Park Beach

& short drives to the rest of the peninsula as well!

Highway traffic during the day but it dies down at night. There are trees surrounding the property to help with noise & give extra privacy when playing games in the large yard.

Clean and meets basic needs. Dog friendly. Right on the main highway. We had to be careful with the dogs and kids. Quiet except for car noises.

Great location, adorable house!

Perfect location on the peninsula to get around to all our favorite things. Adorable house with the perfect space for our family. And we all LOVED the chickens on property! Fantastic communication throughout the booking and stay! Thanks for allowing us to stay in your home.

Charming stay at a great value

Thanks for a great stay! The house is no spring chicken yet the decor and styling felt charming and chic. The kitchen was fully functional and clean. The main bath was wonderfully remodeled. Great location. Pet friendly and doesn't break the bank (which is so hard to come by in this area). Thank you for everything.

Sweet little get away!

Very clean, cute little farm house. Check in was easy and host responded quickly to questions. Easy to find and close to lots of different activities — only complaint was the traffic noise as it is right off the highway but would stay here again regardless of that.

Great hideaway but still close enough!! Jess the host was so responsive and had it all ready for us. We had 5 adults and it was plenty of room for everyone. Definitely a do over on this one!

The host’s communications and instructions were great! The home is a true farm house with smaller rooms but it served us well for a multigenerational family visit to door county. As for Pet friendly, having my pup limited to the first floor was absolutely not an issue. Wood floors made sweeping up pet fur super slick. Downside was how close yard was to busy hwy 42. The sound of highway wasn’t really a bother frankly, but I had to keep pup on a shorter leash out front because no fence and high speed traffic just feet away. My only other note would be that the front steps and inside stair well are not really handicap friendly. Charming farmhouse but that means the old school big steps. Harder for my elderly parents to navigate but I am sure would be cute and fun for the average family. Bring your coffee (kcups) pillows and lap blanket and the host has the rest to relax on the patio and enjoy the birds. PS The air conditioners and fan kept up with the brutal summer heat during our stay so it was so nice to come back and relax after exploring! Very close to many main DC sights and restaurants!

Was a great stay. Chickens were good neighbors. Beds need upgrading as do sofas. To old to climb up out of furniture.

Nicely equipped home , everything we needed for a quick trip to Door County with our pup! Jessica was a responsive and helpful host! Lots of space outside for the dog and nice porch for sitting. Very clean. Comfortable beds. Cute decor. We were there in July with temps in the 80s - window air conditioners struggled to cool the whole place — but perhaps ceiling fans in the bedrooms would have helped? Overall , lovely home and location is a quick drive from Egg Harbor favorites.

We had a great stay. The home is pet friendly, central to everything we were doing. We had exactly what we needed in the kitchen for drinking wine and playing games. The upstairs is very cute, we thought we'd have one more couple joining but they didn't end up making the trip, still a good value if your traveling with pets The upstairs was very cute 2 more bedrooms, but due to dogs we stayed downstairs. This place could easily sleep 3 couples. The only draw back would be the busy highway for families with kids. We had our dogs on a leash and with the grown trees blocking the view of the highway we had no issue. Super windy our entire say, saw they have a grill and small firepit. Even at night in the back bedroom we could hear the birds more than we could the traffic, There's a corn field in back of the property so just one busy side and no nearby neighbors. Sitting in the kitchen with a little music you'd never know until you open the front door that the highway is right there, however we visited in off season. I'd recommend this cute cottage and even book again if we get a chance to visit the area.

We booked this stay for a friend’s wedding weekend and had a great time! The house and yard were clean, the communication was speedy and friendly, and we had plenty of room for 5 adults and two dogs. Considering it was one of the hotter weekend in July, we managed pretty well with the fan and window ac. The only feedback I was asked to give from another guest was that the full-length mirror be hung up instead of free-standing in the bathrooms because it was a little hard to get a full-body look while we were getting ready. Would absolutely stay here again though!

As advertised!

Nice house right on highway 42. The ONLY thing that wasn’t perfect was the highway noise. It didn’t affect our stay at all though as we got used to it. Jessica was responsive and wonderful!!!

Quintessential Door County

If you are looking for a true Door County experience, give this quaint house in Egg Harbor a try. Clean and nicely decorated with everything you will need for a comfortable stay including a roomy kitchen, fire pit, albums & turntable, comfortable beds, plush towels, and personal touches like a mixed snack basket and fresh cut flowers. Our host Jess was quick to respond to messages and very sweet and helpful. Some people mentioned the sound of traffic from Hwy 42, but we did not find that to be an issues as we were gone during the day when traffic was heavier and virtually nothing by bedtime. Stairs to the upper level, where the king bed is located, are steep and may not work for everyone. Pets allowed on lower level only, which was not a problem for our dogs as we slept in the downstairs bedroom and our guests slept upstairs.

I have lived in Wisconsin my entire life but have always had a strong desire to travel. My husband Curtis and I have 2 children and 2 dogs and we go everywhere together. Camping is probably our favorite thing to do as a family and Door County has such an abundance of camping spots for us to explore! On top of that, I LOVE being a host and trying to accommodate to every need a guest may have. I want our space to feel like home away from home.

We chose this location a few years back because we loved the convenience of being in the middle of the peninsula to be able access any town easily, while also being far enough out of any specific town to have amazing privacy.

Derfor er dette overnatningssted unikt

There is almost always an amazing view of the sunset from the yard, so start a campfire, roast some mallows and take in the beauty.
