Gracia is a newly built, beautiful 3-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom, designer home nestled in one of the most alluring neighborhoods in Nosara. This tranquil property is perched on an elevated ridge, surrounded by mature trees, nature trails, and jungle greenery. The beach is a 5-minute walk away and the sound of waves can be heard from the yard. This special property is a bird-watcher's paradise and a main thoroughfare for Howler monkeys who make their way across the canopy above.

Designed by award-winning architect, Lucca Spendingwimmer, the home is a tropical mid-century modern beauty, with hints of calming Asian influences. Casa Gracia was designed to be warm and inviting, yet also sophisticated and modern with aesthetics that complement the jungle environment.

SPACES

Main Living Area:
-The large great room flows directly out to the pool and BBQ entertaining area through a series of 10’ high glass sliders providing seamless indoor-outdoor living.
-The living room includes a large sectional couch and lounge chairs; 65” LG OLED television and Sono's cinema sound system.
-A locally sourced, Guanacaste wood dining table seats eight adults.
-An expansive 11’ kitchen island is the hub for cooking and gathering. The kitchen is stocked with high-end appliances, cooking pots/pans, glass/dishware, utensils, spices, etc.
-Internet service is provided by high-speed fiber optic. The home is covered by a TP-Link/Omada mesh system, making fast streaming Wi-Fi possible in all areas.
-The home is secured by a sophisticated alarm system and alarm response team. The outdoor perimeter is covered by cameras and the home is a member of a paid nightly neighborhood security patrol.

Pool / Yard:
-Whether you’re into splashing or lounging, the salt-water pool is perfectly warm all year round.
-Comfortable seating areas offer the choice of sun or shade, sitting or laying out.
-The tranquil and private yard borders the pool and is filled with native trees, plants and tropical flowers. A grass lawn is perfect for walking around barefoot.
-Oversized teak chaise lounge chairs are great to work on your tan or take a nap.

Outdoor kitchen:
-Equipped with a large, built-in gas grill, complete with all the tools and attachments to prepare your freshly caught fish or veggies.
-Includes an outdoor fridge for cold beverages.
-The space includes an ample prep area for cooking and a wide bar for outdoor socializing and dining.

Roof Deck:
-An expansive roof deck lifts you up into the jungle canopy and offers stunning views. In the green season the lush gardens surround. The dry season opens to mountains in one direction and crashing surf in the other. At any time of year, the sunset skies are magnificent.
-The space includes a large-sectional couch and deep teak club chairs.
-The roof deck includes an inviting soaking tub. Perfect for stargazing in private.

The immediate neighborhood:

Located in a private corner of north Playa Pelada, moments from the beach, hiking trails, dramatic coastal views and the “Las Bocas” river area.
-Pelada beach – Widely regarded as the most beautiful beach in the Nosara area. A five-minute stroll takes you to a secluded section of this amazing pink sand beach. Explore tide pools, caves, watch epic sunsets and walk to the only beachside restaurants in Nosara – La Luna and Olgas.
-The Boca – On the opposite side of the ridgeline lies the Boca River area. Popular for fishing, kayaking tours, stand-up paddling, coastal hikes and more.
-The views – Elevated about 100’ above sea level the home sits on a small ridge. A walk down to the end of the road reveals one of the most dramatic views around. Facing north, you can see miles down the coast past the black-sand beaches of the Ostional Turtle Refuge to the point of San Juanillo. Bring your camera for IG moments!
-Nearby to everything – A short walk takes you to the Largata Lodge – just one of many places to explore. Drinks, dining and incredible ocean views can be found at this popular luxury resort. Consider booking a spa appointment or making dining reservations. Jumping in your car, golf cart or tuk-tuk taxi takes you to the ever-growing array of shops, restaurants, markets, activities and beaches of greater Pelada and Guiones.

Property Management & Concierge Services
The property manager is available daily from 8 am to 5 pm and 5 pm to 8 am only for emergenciesThis listing comes with complimentary guest services and concierge services. While Costa Rica does have many of the conveniences you are accustomed to having at home, navigating a foreign country can feel a bit tricky. For that reason, we’re here to help curate your experience and itinerary to be the best it can be. From booking surf lessons and ATV tours to arranging your rental car or shuttle, to organizing your private chef and massages, we’re here for you.

Security
Nosara is absolutely a wonderful community and we can't wait to share all the good things that it has to offer. We care a great deal about our clients and for that reason, we also want to make you aware of one of the véry few downsides to Nosara: petty theft (they usually are out for your cash and your belongings as in any other tourism area). We would like to understand the dynamics of the group and downsize the chance of you having any issues with this. If not included, the property manager can arrange a dinner guard at an additional cost. The guest is responsible for securing and protecting their personal belongings and valuables left in and around the Property and for ensuring that all security features available are enabled every time they leave the Property.

Internet and Electricity
In the jungle, the utility infrastructure is unpredictable. There may be power, phone, and/or internet outages and interruptions in service. The Guest should not leave electronics plugged in during rainstorms. There is no guarantee that the Internet will always work. We have an excellent mobile phone signal with Kolbi and data rates are very reasonable. If internet access is always crucial, we encourage you to bring an unlocked phone and get a Kolbi SIM card.

Water
During the dry season months of December through April, the Property may have low water pressure due to temporary or scheduled water outages. We will do our best to notify Guests of any interruptions in water service or regularly scheduled water shut-offs.

Jungle creatures
We make every effort to present a well-cleaned home for your arrival. However, it is a jungle out there and nature can move in at any time. The Homeowners and Property Manager are not responsible for the fumigation or removal of insects that may enter the Property during the Guest's stay. Even though the house is regularly fumigated on a maintenance schedule, expect to see insects year-round. Bugs are especially active during the rainy season, May through November. Every effort is made to present a clean home at Check-In. To minimize the impact of bugs on your vacation, please keep food wrapped, store it in the refrigerator, clean kitchen counters and screen doors closed at all times (particularly at night).

Refunds
No refunds will be given for natural disasters, water outages, internet outages, security breaches, personal property losses, or nearby construction noise. This area is a rapidly growing community. There is no guarantee there will not be construction nearby.

Insurance
We encourage all Guests to purchase Traveler Insurance in case of unforeseen circumstances, accidents, or other issues that may prohibit Guests from travelling or fulfilling Rental terms.

The house is stunning and so thoughtfully executed. My family and I were extremely comfortable during our stay, and loved being able to walk to the beach every evening to catch the sunset. Any questions or needs we had the host attended to immediately! Definitely recommend.

The house was beautiful. It had recently been renovated and was modern and very well appointed. The design was well thought out and the living area was very comfortable. They had a large TV for evening viewing. It had excellent internet and wifi service. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cooking utensils. Unfortunately there were problems with the water supply and we were without water for 2 days. Apparently, the water pump was broken and needed to be replaced. In addition, the water level in the pool was low (it was down about 20”) and water had to be brought in to fill the pool. I appreciate that things break and malfunction, but all.of this impacts your holiday. The management company was responsive to these issues and did try to remediate the problems.

We're thrilled to hear you enjoyed the modern design, comfortable living areas, large TV, strong WiFi, and well-equipped kitchen. It's wonderful to know those aspects made your stay more enjoyable. Regarding the water issues you experienced, we're genuinely sorry for the disruption this caused during your holiday. As we mentioned at the time, a heavy wind storm led to infrastructure challenges with the local ASADA (water authority), which restricted supply across the area and affected many properties. Additionally, the pool pump issue required a replacement part, and in our rural location, sourcing and repairs can unfortunately take longer than we'd like despite our team's immediate efforts to resolve both matters as quickly as possible. We worked hard to get water restored and the pool refilled, and we're glad the team was responsive to your concerns throughout. Your experience is important to us, and we've used this as an opportunity to review our contingency plans for similar situations. It was a pleasure meeting you, and we hope you'll consider returning someday so we can show you the very best of what the property and area have to offer. We stayed in this home twice. Its a lovely house however, both stay with we experienced issues due to poor maintenance. When we arrived, we had no water for 24 hrs secondary to a broken water pump. The AC unit in the master bedroom did not function for the entire stay. We had workers in the house on three separate days addressing the issues. Surf Nosara was responsive however these issues should have been addressed prior to our arrival. The pool was dirty as the water level was below the filter so we had gardeners and pool service as well. We understand things happen however the property needs to be properly maintained and monitored prior to each guest arrival.

Regarding the pool specifically, the heavy wind storms we experienced brought in a significant amount of leaves and debris, and we also discovered and promptly repaired an underlying leak that had contributed to the water level drop. Casa Gracia delivered. The house is exceptionally well-built and designed with real intention. Every detail is considered but still feels comfortable and chill. The roof deck and pool area are the standout spaces, and you'll spend most of your time there. Property management is genuinely top-tier: responsive, always cheerful, and easy to deal with.We'd done Playa Guiones before, and switching to Playa Pelada was the right call. You're still close to everything, but it's noticeably quieter. More jungle, less scene. The trails in Pelada are worth exploring, and the one right next to the house drops you straight down to the beach, which is a solid bonus. We had howler monkeys in the trees overhead most days. That doesn't get old. One thing worth addressing: some reviews have flagged water or power interruptions. To be fair, brief outages are part of jungle living. It's not a Casa Gracia issue, it's a Costa Rica issue, and it's genuinely not a big deal. It’s part of Pura Vida living.We'll be back to Gracia 100%.
