Four ensuite bedrooms, a private hot tub on the deck, and a panoramic wall of south-facing windows looking straight across the valley at Vail Mountain. Our townhome sleeps ten in genuine comfort — four couples, four private bathrooms, no one waiting for a shower on a powder morning.

GETTING TO THE MOUNTAIN. We’re in the Potato Patch Club on the north, sunny side of the valley, directly across from Lionshead. The free Town of Vail Sandstone bus stops a two-minute walk from our door and runs to both Lionshead and Vail Village — most of our guests never move their car after they arrive. If you’d rather walk the whole way, it’s about 20 minutes (0.9 miles) to Lionshead, or a four-minute drive.

THE VIEW. It’s the reason we bought here. In fall you watch the aspens turn from green to gold. In winter you pick out tomorrow’s runs during the day and watch the snowcats working the slopes at night.

THE MAIN LEVEL. Fully remodeled in 2020 and laid out across three floors, with an entirely open living room, dining room, and gourmet chef’s kitchen on the main level — induction cooktop, Bosch appliances, and a kitchen stocked down to the condiments. Accordion doors fold open from the kitchen straight onto the patio, so the whole main floor opens to the outdoors. The living room centers on a real wood-burning fireplace, and we keep you supplied with wood. There’s a 77" Sony OLED with a Sonos sound system, and fast Wi-Fi reaching every corner of the house. Individual Nest thermostats in every bedroom plus three more on the main level, so nobody has to negotiate the temperature.

WHERE YOU WILL SLEEP. Two kings, one queen, and one room with two queens. Every bedroom is ensuite, with hotel-grade linens, a streaming flatscreen, and more storage than you’ll manage to fill. The primary suite is upstairs.

OUTSIDE. The entire main level opens to one continuous outdoor space. Accordion doors from the kitchen lead to a heated stone patio with a snowmelt system and a propane fire pit — no shoveling, no ice, usable all winter. It runs level into the wraparound deck, which holds the private hot tub, new outdoor patio furniture and a propane grill, looking across the valley at the mountain. Cook inside, eat outside, end the night at the fire pit or in the tub. One-car garage plus ample surface parking at the complex for the rest of your vehicles.

THE COMPLEX. Potato Patch Club is 42 units on landscaped grounds. There’s a fitness center open year-round — a proper gym with treadmills, bikes, ellipticals, free weights, and a cable machine — a few minutes’ walk across the property. Alongside it, a 50-foot heated lap pool, four dedicated pickleball courts, a tennis court, and a basketball court, open May through September.

ANY SEASON. In summer the valley gives you mountain biking, hiking, fly fishing, and golf, with swimming and pickleball right here in the complex. In winter, you have Vail. We answer questions quickly — please reach out with any.
