Our family of four just returned from an amazing stay at Casa Jazz in Playa Ocotal — and we couldn’t rate it anything less than five stars! From the moment we arrived, everything about this property exceeded our expectations.The condo itself is beautifully appointed, spacious, and spotlessly clean — perfect for a family getaway with our two kids. The layout made it easy for everyone to have privacy and comfort, while the open living areas brought us together for meals and games.One of our favorite parts was how close the unit is to the beach. A short, easy walk brought us right to the beautiful Blue-Flag Playa Ocotal — ideal for morning beach time and evening strolls with the kids. The surrounding gated community is peaceful and safe, and having a pool just steps away was a huge bonus for lazy afternoons.Communication with the host was excellent — clear, friendly, and responsive — which made check-in and check-out smooth and stress-free.Overall, this was one of the best family trips we’ve had. The location, comfort, and amenities made our stay truly memorable. We can’t wait to come back again!

Dreamy relaxing vacation

Ocotal beach is a short walk away but I highly recommend you rent a vehicle in order to get around for excursions and sightseeing. The drive is not bad and Google maps gets you everywhere.

Pleasant

Our stay was great. Condo is spacious and all as listed on Vrbo. Kitchen has everything you need to cook and bake. All necessary utensils. I really recommend to use the transportation booked from Zindis to and from Liberia airport. We also used the transportation to and from La Leona Waterfall tour. It was worth the money since you travel with comfort and no worries. Driver Marlon was great and very helpful. Thank you all Lissa, Javier and Maria for your hospitality! Hope to book again from Zindis in the future. Best regards,Halyna

great gettaway close to ocotal beach, great for kids

amazing locationvery cleanstaff super friendlypool very close by, great for kidshowler monkeys in trees nearby makes for a great entertainment. a car or scooter is useful to get to town which is otherwise about 45 minute walk. Ocotal beach is very cute, quaint, Father Rooster restaurant is great but on the expensive side nearby.

Lovely Stay

This condo is exactly as it shows on the ad, and is a nice size with good sized rooms, comfortable beds, and all the amenities need.The beach is truly a couple minute walk. We experienced monkeys, a parakeet, iguanas and lots of birds right in the property. Adele was fantastic, and we all enjoyed our stay.

Great location and peaceful environment!

At a walking distance from Ocotal beach and Father Rooster front beach restaurant. We found the location extremely convenient and quite close to El Coco downtown where you can find almost everything. Will definitely need a car to move around easy. Close to other beautiful beaches like Panama beach, Calzón de Pobre, etc... Made our stay really enjoyable.The closed gated community offers a peaceful environment and they even have security service available. The host (Alex from Zindis group) did a great job welcoming us and providing clear instructions and flawless communication. Would recommend this place to anyone interested in visiting this area.

Excellent location very close to Playa Ocolat.

First the good; This villa is located, as advertised, a short 3 minute walk to Playa Ocolat which is a very nice sandy beach with decent snorkeling (visibility not great). Bonus; Father Rooster restaurant is located on the beach and we went there several times. Very good. The shared pool was very nice, clean and just the right temp. Each bedroom has an en-suite and individual air conditioning / ceiling fan. Amenities included beach towels, beach chairs and boogie boards. All in all, very good value for the cost. Slightly negative comments; The villa was, on the surface, very clean. But we noticed that there was a lot of dust under the bed and chair in our room and obviously hadn't been cleaned in a long time. The fridge ice maker didn't work but the house manager (Damian) supplied ice in bags while the ice making unit was being repaired. The safe was locked and we couldn't open it. The bedroom doors (and dish washer door) screeched loudly when moved so require lubrication. The location is great for the beach and FR restaurant but there's not much else there. A car or taxi is needed to get to the main town of Playa Coco which is the closest place for groceries, bars and restaurants. Rental cars are expensive so we quickly got the name of an english speaking "pirate" driver who had a newer car and drove us at any time at ~ 20% saving. All in all I recommend this place.
