This is a beautiful home in a very secluded, serene area. We enjoyed watching the ships cueing up for Philadelphia harbor. The sunrise and sunsets were magnificent. We saw a bald eagle on the beach and many birds in the marsh behind the house. I was delighted with how well stocked the kitchen is. My daughter and I put together a perfect Thanksgiving dinner. Kim and Steve are wonderful hosts.

This is the second time we have stayed at Kim and Steve’s home. It was a great time as always. Check in is easy, great communication and instructions from the owners. The home is clean, comfortable, and in a friendly neighborhood. We loved having our dog with us and enjoyed the beautiful beach at both high tide and low tide. My kids loved riding bicycles throughout the neighborhood, finding shells on the sand bars at low tide, chasing the crabs, exchanging books at the shared library, and doing puzzles/games at the house in the evening.

Great place to relax and get away. The house has a well equipped Kitchen which is great if you don’t want to go out to eat every night. It is also so close to the beach. The beach was very private. No crowds. I loved this place, definitely going back

Great time at a wonderful home!

We stayed here before and once again it did not disappoint. Our accomodations were excellent. Attention to details and communication with the Host were outstanding. We plan to return again next year.

Family vacation

Well appointed home, close to the ocean. We enjoyed finding seaglass and shells on low tide. Close to Rehoboth and Dewey. Beautiful views of the sunrise from the top balcony.

Excellent

We absolutely loved this property. We have a family with small children. There was tons of space for everyone and very clean. The toiletries that were supplied, along with board games and cards were a very nice bonus. Highly recommend!

Nice House, Marshy Area

Overall the stay was very pleasant. The beach at the bay was very nice, and super convenient to walk to. If you go to the beach go in the morning when the tide is low, which is much more fun. The inside of the house was very nice and cozy and we had plenty of space for our family of 6. The kitchen is very nice and there were plenty of games and movies for down time. Unfortunately we could not use either of the exterior decks, as the amount of mosquitoes was insane. They would swarm into the house when we opened any doors. The bugs cannot be helped by the Owner, but this was the major drawback. The property is located directly next to a marsh, and when the humidity picked up we could not be outside due to swarms. Other than this, the property is very nice and the Owners were easy to communicate with throughout our stay. The proximity to the bay is ideal, and all of the locals and neighbors were very polite as well. Overall, we would recommend the property as long as you are prepared to deal with the mosquitoes.

Everything was very lovely. Very nice neighborhood. We met a lot of lovely people. The house and location is beautiful. The house is very well stocked with everything that you would need. The host was amazing and really went above and beyond. We had a small emergency while on vacation. She was very responsive, accommodating, and understanding. We could not have asked for a better experience. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Great space by a quiet beach

We were here for a youth field hockey tournament. We thought this was a perfect place--plenty of space for kids to spread out, across the street from the beach, and only 15-20 min or so into Milford for restaurants/food. Easy check-in/out, and clear communication from the hosts, who left a great note and instructions for everything you need inside the house. We're thinking about how we might use this place for a stay with another family--the layout is perfect for 2 adult couples 4 kids in their own upstairs space. It was easy for us to walk our dog on the beach, too. And we saw plenty of dogs being walked down the street, even though there aren't that many house. Bonus--we saw a bald eagle on the roof of the house next door.We would definitely stay here again.

Another Perfect Getaway

Another Perfect Getaway at our favorite Delaware rental. We visit after Christmas every year and are always grateful to stay at such a lovely home in such a georgeous natural location. The host is wonderful and the check in was very easy.

Our October Beach Getaway

The house is very nice, we liked that it had 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms for the 3 of us! The location is very nice, only improvement would be waterfront or a screened deck looking over marsh. Very quiet, great walks, and easy to get to. 5 STARS!

Golf Trip Stay

We used this house for our annual golf trip. The place was great with more than enough space but also was a 30 second walk to the beach when we wanted to stretch our legs. It was less than an hour to Ocean City, MD, but this location was off the beaten path which provided serene marsh views, and a quiet neighborhood. Highly recommend.

Great place for a getaway from the hustle and bustle

We enjoyed a girls weekend, including the pup in a quiet, clean, and friendly place. The accommodations were excellent and beach time was great. All of the neighbors were friendly, and Lily (the pup) made 2 and 4 legged friends. Great place for sunrise and sunset viewing. We all loved it. Thank you so much, would love to come back.

Great Host and Wonderful Place

We loved our visit to Prime Hook Beach and Kim & Steve’s beach home! The listing and other reviews were spot on! Our Chocolate Lab Sadie enjoyed running on the beach and it was so quiet and peaceful…just what we were looking for!

Quiet, friendly beach neighborhood

This property was exactly as advertised and very comfortable. It’s a very short walk to lovely, calm beach. At its busiest, we counted a total of 10 other people, looking in both directions. Without fail, everyone we passed, on the beach or walking along the road, waved and said hi. The host was extremely pleasant and helpful. Any/all information was prompt and thorough. The house was clean and very well supplied. Would definitely recommend for a quiet beach getaway.

Perfect home to stay in! Super clean, well stocked, and excellent location for a quiet getaway. Our two dogs really enjoyed the decks and the accommodations exceeded our expectations from past experiences. Everyone was able to have their own room and bathroom which was a huge bonus, and the beach supplies were awesome. The host was very accommodating and answered my questions in a timely fashion. Absolutely would stay here again for a longer time!

Great Family Vacation

This property was in an ideal location, just a short walk to the quiet and picturesque beach and about 15-20 mins to shopping areas. The home was perfect for families with plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms, and space to relax. It was well stocked with items to make our stay comfortable. Check in and check out was easy. We had a Wonderful time!

Wonderful

We loved this home! One of the nicest Vrbo places we have ever stayed at. Clean, comfortable, organized, well appointed kitchen, nice views, comfortable beds. Check in process was easy. The host was readily available if needed. One of our guests left a watch at the property and the host found it and is arraigning returning it! Wonderful experience. And we would be thrilled to stay here again. Thank you so much!

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful property! It was very clean, spacious, and cozy. The kitchen had everything we needed. The rooms were comfortable. The directions to access the beach were clear.

We enjoyed our stay…we had a 5 and 6 year old with us and the water was perfect for them …not real deep and it gave them the confidence to have fun…extremely stocked house and quiet neighborhood..we would definitely do it again

When we bought the house, it was a small cottage from the 50's. Twenty years ago, we tore down the cottage and built our beautiful, elevated dream beach home. We have had two sons since purchasing the beach house. Our family enjoys coming to the beach year round. The kids can play outside, like I used to be able to do when I was a kid. We have a rescue mixed breed that loves the water and the beach and we take him with us every chance. The beach is hidden and has been a safe haven for us over the years

We chose this location because of the privacy and lack of commercial enterprise. We are close enough to everything that Rehoboth, Lewes and Dewey have to offer, but far enough that we can enjoy the serenity of a peaceful day. We like to relax on vacation. Prime Hook is the place for relaxing.

Derfor er dette overnatningssted unikt

. We enjoy, sunning, swimming and walking the sandbar at low tide. Great beach for collecting sea glass and beautiful seashells. It’s awesome.

The First floor has the Kitchen, Dining room and Living room. There are also two bedrooms on this floor, each with a full bath. Both first floor bedrooms have queen size beds . The first deck is on this level. The washer and dryer are conveniently located on this level as well. The second floor has a full bathroom, a family room and the third bedroom. The only way to describe this bedroom is HUGE. There are two full size beds and a trundle twin and still plenty of room to spare. The Family room provides a great place to relax and for the family to spread out. There is also a deck on the second level. On a good day one can see for miles.

In nearby Milton, about 9 miles away, we have a Food Lion, Walgreens, Subway, a Chinese carryout, Irish Eyes, Domino's and one of Our favorites, the Miltonian Restaurant with Greek/Italian and American cuisine.
For more shopping, Lewes and Rehoboth Beach and (Outlets) are nearby south on Route 1.

There is the Boardwalk in Rehoboth and further south, in Ocean City as well as historic sites, theatres, amusement parks, the incomparable Cape Henlopen State Park on the ocean in Rehoboth and all kinds of experiences awaiting you at the shore.
