Perfect place for a stint on the slopes

We stayed here as a family of four plus a family of three, and the place worked really well for us all. There were three proper bedrooms - so many places have a third "loft" bedroom but this had three discrete rooms - which was ideal as the kids all bunked in together. The kitchen was very well decked out, beds big and comfortable and the showers nice and warm. Also super close to the outdoor hot tub which was a win! We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Country

Such a gorgeous part of California! +=central location, responsive property manger, spacious, kitchen well equipped. -=upstairs bath not super clean, shower curtain smelled, not convenient to check in/out separate location, door jam for front door was completely busted from inside, definitely a safety issue. We chose not to tell management until we left but def needs to be fixed/secured asap.

Super convenient and spacious

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: All in all, this was a great property for a larger group of people. There were 8 of us, and we fit very comfortably. The only issue was none of us could connect to Wifi, and the oven didn't work, and we didn't know it did not work, so we had thought to use it, and we couldn't. That was kind of a bummer. But, you really can't beat the location, as it was walking distance to shops and restaurants, and right next to the bus/trolley route.

Great for families

The townhouse was just as listed. Its a bit dated but clean. All beds were comfortable and nice place to stay with a large family. I requested a late checkout via the VRBO website and never got a reply back. I also downloaded they hospitality app they use and asked about additional dishwasher shop since we only had enough for 1 load. I ended up calling them since I got no response from my 2nd email. They were kind enough to give us enough for our stay. If the unit is large enough for 10 figured it would have sufficient dishwasher soap and it was not listed on the items to bring. Overall my family enjoyed the place.

Hello, Thank you for taking your time to leave a review, it was nice having you! Thank you for calling in a request for the dishwasher soap, it is always best to email us directly and not through the third party company. It is stated in the documents sent over that we provide dishwasher packets to get you going but we do not replenish items. Unfortunately we do not offer hotel like services and do state in the documents what items will not be replenished. Hope to have you again and don't forget to use your return guest discount! Family friendly and cozy place to stay

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Chateau de Montagne #15 is a great place to stay if you're traveling with multiple families with young children. The accommodations are clean and cozy. The kitchen is well-equipped and the configuration provides for a flexible setup. The complex is located right off the Blue shuttle line and very close to Von's and other shopping. One drawback is the parking. This particular unit does not allow you access to the garage. So, if you have more than two cars, you're outta luck. Moreover, the spots are tight and not clearly marked and, when there's a lot of snow, the maneuverability is limited in the driveway.

Great Mammoth Stay for Families!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved the stay at the cabin. Very well equipped with blankets, pillows, towels, kitchen supplies, overall great cabib. The only recommendation would be to add smart TVs. We really wanted to watch Netflix and or rent movies on Prime Video and were not able to. This was a bummer because we were trying to have a family movie night. Also, the caution tape on the windows was not very cozy looking but I understand it was for our safety. However, I wished the deck or sliding glass doors would have been in working order. However, I would definitely stay here again. The location of the cabin and how well the cabin was stocked was a big plus!Thank you for having us!

Super Happy!

My family and I are completely satisfied with this place! everything in the house was working perfect, especially the heaters, that made our stay nice and cozy. More than enough cooking utensils, enough pots and pans to cook for a whole restaurant. I will give props to the manager of the property, MVP!! I had an issue with the parking spaces that where being occupied by the neighbors. I had asked the neighbors if those where our parking spaces but they claimed that those where theirs, no big deal, later on I called the manager to just ask where our spaces where located. The manager answered right away it was already like 8pm but he said he was out of the property and will stop by and take care of it. LITTLE DID I KNOW!!!!! he comes by in around 20 minutes and starts knocking on all the neighbors doors to move their cars out the way to accommodate our cars (2) ! HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMEND THIS STAY Looking forward to stay here again!

Great for 2 families

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at this property in December 2017. It's a very comfortable place - not luxurious and the decor is dated, but clean and perfectly comfortable. Worked great for our group - we had 4 adults and 4 kids. The kids stayed in the bunk room which has 2 bunks (4 beds). It's on the second floor of the place along with the kitchen and living room. There's a bathroom across the hall from the bedroom. The adults stayed in the bedrooms downstairs. There's a bathroom downstairs which can be accessed from the hall and from the master bedroom. The master has a sink in it, so it makes it kind of like a jack and jill set up though the other bedroom does not have direct access to the bathroom (it's off of the hall). We used the pellet stove which really heated the place up and each of the bedrooms has a wall heater which were very effective. The place is right across from the pool and hot tub. We used the hot tub several times - it's a good size - big enough for 10-15 people comfortably. We skied at Mammoth. It's a 15 minute drive to the Main Lodge. We didn't try to use the shuttle. There wasn't any information in the condo about how to use it and we didn't really want to wait outside in the cold any way. There is space for 2 cars outside the unit.

Broken deck

I planned this trip for a group and unfortunately to our surprise the place was under construction. I thought it was the wrong location at first, but it wasn’t. The listing didn’t disclose that the deck was under construction. There was caution tape over the windows and plywood blocking the sliding glass doors making the rooms very dark. Needless to say it was not aesthetically pleasing nor safe. The deck was completely sideways and crushing its beams. The walls inside showed the damage as well. If I could attach photos to my review I would. The HOA and neighbors even told us to file a complaint with the city as to how unsafe it was. I wouldn’t be this upset if they had just disclosed this issue ahead of time. But I wouldn’t have stayed here if I knew. On top of this, it has been a headache trying to communicate with management. The mammoth reservations forwards everything and i havent gotten any real person to address my concerns. I am requesting some type of refund but they claim it is not their responsibility and that my concerns will be forwarded. To whom it’s unclear. I would not recommend staying here.

Thanks for your comments and we are sorry that the balcony was not accessible during your stay. Unfortunately we were uninformed that the deck was under repair and would not be available for your use. There was a high volume of damages sustained after this Winter and this deck was one of them and because it is the responsibility of the HOA to repair, we were not updated on the timeline. The town have approved the unit for safe occupancy, so there is no safety concern, just an inconvenience with the deck being unavailable. Apologies for the delay in responding to your request for compensation, however I do see that a refund has been processed and a manager communicated with you. We hope you will have a better experience next time. Mammoth Reservations

Mammoth summer visit

The house was very clean and well stocked. We we're group of 4 adults, 2 kids and an infant, the house was spacey enough for all of us. The HOA spa is well mantained and close by to the unit. Our reservation included free entrance to snow creek athletic club, it was great. Overall the place was great.. the only issue I had was with checkin/ checkout- The listing say checkin is 5 pm... I didn't notice it while booking. When they say 5pm they mean it :-), this was the first time I was able to checkin only so late, even with covid cleaning regulations. For checkin checkout you have to drive to an office. That is not too bad, but maybe it's time to move to code lock? Or some more advanced method :-) .

Nice condo in Mammoth

We enjoyed the space and found the location to be very convenient. The kitchen was well-stocked and the layout was comfortable. Location was convenient to town and to the mountain and lakes. The only complaint was the wifi, which despite numerous restarts we couldn't get to work consistently/reliably.

This condo is okay but good location.

The condo is dated but location is good and quiet. The condo was generally clean, however there were several stains on the carpet. We were there with young children so the main appeal for us is that the condo is within walking distance of the park and creek. It would have been nice if there were a back gate for park access. The neighboring condo has one. We had to walk via the street which made the trip twice as far. Grass area outside the master bedroom & near the pool is nice for the children. Pool is nice & convenient. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes/pot & pan, etc. However, consumables are very sparse throughout the condo, for example : no plastic kitchen wrap, no facial tissue in bathrooms, no kitchen napkins. These have been standard items in other condos we have rented. Trash can in the kitchen is very small, however it has large bags in it. Not very usable. I also prefer condos with combination locks. This one has key pickup/drop off at a different location. Not a huge deal but just not as convenient.

Reviewer Comments: It was a well located place to stay between Eagle Lodge and the town center.I would like you to correct the spelling of my name to Sidney. I has requested this as far back as we have been making reservations through your agency.

It was nice having you and thank you for leaving a review! I have updated the profile name but it will not show on already made reservations. Hope to have you again and don't forget to use the returning guest discount. Thank you, MSR
