Ren, stille enhed på anden sal med smuk udsigt over haven og skygge på lanai om eftermiddagen, så ikke for varmt at sidde udenfor! På tværs af gaden fra en smuk gylden sandstrand (Charley Young Beach / Kamaole Beach 1). Nyrenoveret (efterår 2016), herunder en ny KING-SIZE seng i master, nyt køkken og badeværelse - vent indtil du ser dem! Nyt fladskærms-tv med dvd-afspiller, plus dvd og skærm i soveværelse. Spektakulære tennisbaner og store placering til jogging og cykling (cykelstier og butikker i hele Kihei). Ny (2016) sovesofa med hukommelsesskum fuld størrelse madras, også nyt spisebord og komfortable stole.
Nice rolige soveværelse med ingen trafikstøj, bare fuglesang.
Fantastiske walk-in snorkling i nærheden af dette sted. Stor adgang til ture til Molokini øen, og du kan gå til en dagligvarebutik. Kun 15 minutters kørsel til verdensberømte Makena Beach, eller tage lidt mere tid og udforske den smukke vulkan bag os. Haleakala, House of the Sun, ser ned på Maui Vista. Kør op til topmødet eller tage en dagstur til Hana på den anden side af Haleakala. Også en nem kørsel til Lahaina, hvor du kan fange en færge til Lanai. Men du vil elske bare hænge ud i Kihei - meget mindre regn end Kaanapali eller Napili! Og dette er stedet at lære at surfe på øen Maui - 1 blok til surfing central. Gode restauranter og shopping.

Just as advertised! Perfect vacation.

This property is perfectly located walking distance from Charlie Young Beach and within a quarter mile of restaurants. The unit is just as described, one bed one bath with a shower. Everything you need in the kitchen and a lanai from which you can watch the sunset. I would definitely book this again!

Everything was great EXCEPT

Everything was great except the condition of the beach chairs. Old & broken down with broken straps. Ended up having to rent 2 chairs which was easier than driving back to Costco for new ones. To the owners: BUY NEW CHAIRS, Its a cheap fix & would be much appreciated by your guests.. Maybe an extra umbrella to go along with considering there was only 1 in the room.

Our Stay At Maui Vista

What a great place to stay in Kehei. Close to all amenities and the ocean. Well stocked with everything a person needs. Gorgeous weather for 28 days straight. Would definitely stay here again if we were to come back to Maui.The one minor dislike we have was the uncomfortable couch/ hide-a-bed. Thanks for letting us use your condo Stewart. Mahalo! Maui Vista

Condo was well equipped with everything needed. Could use a good cleaning as closet runners/floors, mats, fridge area floor were dirty. Windows older and spaces open to outside. I had contacted the rental agency about a bedroom curtain issue and it was fixed the following day. We enjoyed the location of Maui Vista complex. Beach is close, grocery store close, many restaurants close.

Perfect location!

Great condo in the perfect location. The condo was comfortable, clean, and well equipped. We had everything we needed. The best part is, we could walk to the beach AND shopping.

Work & relax

I needed a place that was fairly close to the conference I was attending in Wailea and this condo ended up being perfect. This was a terrific location with easy, walkable access to restaurants, parks and the beach across the street. I would definitely recommend it for solo travelers as well as couples.

Maui Vista Rocks

Great place close to the beach

The location was good. It was quiet and clean. The condominium had an elevator, pool and BBQ area. The condo had everything you need for the long stay. There was an AC but we did not use it because the big trees made a nice shade and temperature was comfortable even in the night. It would be good to have more Laundry Detergent then for two loads because we stayed there for almost 2 weeks and it was not enough. The Charley Young Beach was good but I would not recommend it for kids becasue of the rough waves even they looked quite. We've checked all beaches and found that Keawakapu Beach was better for kids and there was a riff with high chance to see turtles. You can actually investigate new beach every day from this location. The most useful local store was ABC. The cheapest store was COSCO. The best and cheapest car rent was Kihei Rent-A-Car. We would definitely recommend this place for staying.

Great Condo!

We arrived on Maui the day of the fires. Sadly, we only stayed one night as non-essential travel was discouraged by officials and one person in our party had issues with the smoky air. We were so sad to leave this beautiful, clean and comfortable condo. It had everything we could possibly need. The view from the lanai was beautiful and lush (we even had a slight ocean view). The birdsong in the morning was beautiful. The beach was a few-minutes walk from the condo. Communication with the local management company was great and they were able to help us through this unfortunate change of plans. We will definitely book this condo again should we travel to Maui again in the future. Praying for Maui. May it come back even stronger from this tragic event.

Maui / Kihei Excellent séjour

Tout était impeccable: propreté (chambre, site, piscine, barbecue), accommodation (papier toilette, essuie-tout, mouchoir, savon à main et vaisselle) … tout a été suffisant pour notre séjour de 5 nuits. Endroit super calme et reposant. Merci à Dona pour ses précieux conseils et aux hôtes de nous avoir accueilli dans cette île paradisiaque! J’ai hâte de revoir Maui!! Famille Blanchet du Québec

Great place to stay in Maui

Overall a great place to stay in Maui, it’s in a good location to travel to all areas of Maui. Lots of places to shop and eat. There is a nice beach within walking distance. The place is nice and clean.

Good Location

Great Location with Charley Young Beach Access Across the Street! Great family beach especially with younger kids. The waves were gentler here than other beaches. We traveled with 2 10 year olds and it's an easy beach to hang out at! The condo was well stalked in the kitchen (we only ate out 2 times for the 9 days we were there) and they had everything we needed for cooking. King Bed was comfortable and the air conditioning an essential for night time sleeping.

A Nice Condominium with a view of the Ocean

A good condo with an ocean view from its 2nd floor lanai. It was well stocked and had a washer and dryer. the bed was good too with a beateaful Hawaiian cover. The only negative was the fry pans which are old scratched up Teflon. We ended up cooking in the two stainless steel sauce pans.

Great place in central Maui!

We really enjoyed our stay. Check in was easy and I was really happy that the place was clean. Sometimes with these older apartments, they don't feel clean...but this one did, so I really appreciated that! The apartment had everything we needed, really loved the beach chairs and umbrella. The bed was huge and comfortable so I liked that. The only thing that would be awesome, is if they put a smart TV in the bedroom! The AC in the living area worked great, it can get warm in the bedroom so we would leave the bedroom door open and have the fan on. The location was ok, there are definitely some things I love about Kihei. I didn't prefer the beaches in the area, we loved going North by Lahaina. Oh and definitely a nice quiet complex! Which is the other huge thing for us, so that was lovely. We'd definitely go back.

Couples trip

We enjoyed the property. Overall a quiet location and within walking distance of several restaurants. We used the cooler and beach chairs, which was nice.

Fabulous stay in Maui

Had a comfortable stay at this clean and neat property in Kihei. Perfectly located across the road from the beach with ample parking and easy walking distance to shops and lots of delicious food options. I found it to be a very convenient base for getting around Maui both by car and on foot. Check in process was easy. Would recommend.

Perfect Condo

We loved this place. It was perfectly situated across the road from beach access and walking distance to bars and restaurants. Plenty of free parking was an extra bonus. The place was spacious, clean and fully equipped with all amenities. Would definitely stay there again.

Quiet, close to the beach.

Nice well equipped condo. Comfortable bed. Beach chairs and umbrella appeared to be new. The condo is in a quiet area of the building and close to everything. We would definitely stay again.

Simple- Affordable- Convenient

If your looking for simple and don't need anything fancy, this condo is perfect. It's quite dated, but it's clean and has pretty much everything you need. Including a small washer and dryer, which was really convenient. It's very small, so I did a load or two a day, but we came home with all clean laundry. The location is GREAT. Walking distance to numerous beaches, shops, restaurants. Parking can be tricky if you come in late at night, but we always found something, even if it was a little far. I felt very safe/secure. The office staff was helpful/friendly. The owner replies promptly. The lanai does face a parking lot, which kinda stinks, but it's always shaded and roomy. Sitting there and enjoying coffee in the morning, despite the parking lot view was nice. They do provide coolers to take to and from, which is great. There is only two beach towels, so I'd plan to bring more. Luckily we packed two of our own. There is an umbrella and beach chairs. The umbrella is missing the long piece to be able to stake it in the ground. The chairs are old and not worth hauling. We stayed for 9 nights. Our two kids shared the pull out couch in the living room, which worked well. The king bed is okay, not awesome and it does get hot in the back room as the AC is in the front of the condo, but there is a ceiling fan and small fan. They had an iron board and iron, which I appreciated for family picture night. I don't know why, but the coffee samples the cleaning lady leaves are amazing and I wish I could have found that exact coffee. The owner tried helping me, which was greatly appreciated. We spent most of our time in Lahaina, which is only 18 miles, but a 40 minute (easy) drive from the condo. Again, it's perfect if you are not looking for anything fancy or updated. The price was great. The unit was clean. Communication was great. For this reason, I still give 5 stars even though it was much more dated than I had expected. Oh, the pool is very very small, but just fine. Who comes to Maui for a pool anyway? We spent just a couple hours there one day to appease my daughter.

Me? I am a retired veterinarian. My wife and I bought the unit in 2009 because Maui was her favorite place on earth. We were able to enjoy time together at the Maui Vista, along with our family, before she passed away in 2019, I love my time there for the memories of her enjoyment being on Maui, and seeing that same happiness in our children and grandchildren as they experience it. If some of the joy of our family time togeher on Maui can be shared with guests, then nothing would make me happier - it is exactly what my wife would want.

Love Kihei! More sun than Kaanapali (or anywhere else on the island), great access to snorkeling, whale watching, dolphin watching and birding. Superb beach across the street, and only 15 minutes from THE beach (Makena). Over the years, there have been some very excellent restaurants relocated to our area of Kihei, including local favorites like the Paia Fish Market - you really have to try it!

We chose this location because of its access to the beach, nearby amenities (grocery store and restaurants), pool, and tennis. You can easily stay here without renting a car. Our unit is back from the street so very quiet and it faces northwest so it is delightfully cool and shady all day.....but with wonderful evening light from the setting sun.
