- Living Room: Hardwood floors, two bedrooms with Queen beds, and two bathrooms.

- Kitchen & Dining Area: Fully equipped with cookware, bakeware, oven, microwave, coffee machine, wine glasses, champagne flutes, cocktail glasses, kids' cups, utensils, etc.

- Bedrooms: Both bedrooms with Queen beds offer stunning views of Mayo Lake and feature high-end furniture. The master bedroom's bathroom boasts a renovated walk-in shower.

The house was beautiful and spacious with a great view of the lake. It was a great place for a girl's weekend and would be great for a family too. Everything you need is right there; fire pit, hot tub, canoes, pool table, pet beds, and even baby cribs. I would definitely stay here again.

Roxboro Hideaway

My family & friends stayed at this beautiful lake house for my son's wedding. It was absolutely perfect! Although we weren't able to enjoy all of the amenities offered, I would definitely book it again for a relaxing weekend with friends/family.

Vacation

The screened in back porch with a view of the lake was the highlight of the stay. The property was clean, and we felt safe. Ot was amply stocked with needed items. The only item that we missed is a toaster. I highly recommend this property for a getaway from hustle and bustle.

A perfect get away

We recently stayed at this lake house and throughly enjoyed our stay. The lake house offers a warm and inviting feel, making it a pleasant getaway. We really liked using the hot tub. It's well-situated with great views of the lake, making it a nice spot to wind down in the evening. And we did fishing on the dock. The views are amazing during sunset/twilight. I'd certainly recommend it and look forward to another visit!

The house was clean, very spacious and accommodating for my family. However due to the various notes taped all over the walls of the house, my family felt uncomfortable and discouraged to enjoy the house. Not to mention that it gave a vulgar finish to the decor.

Future guests: This guest unplugged the refrigerator, which caused it to leak a lot of water onto the hardwood floors. When I politely followed up with video evidence, she became very defensive and started accusing me of bizarre things. This review above was written in retaliation. The various notes she mentioned are merely checkout guidelines such as: - Remove personal items - Move furniture back to original location - Place trash in the trash bins Typical check out guidelines that would be in a guide book but are posted in each room for increased visibility. Pretty much every guest is not only okay with this but finds it helpful. You may contact me via DM if you'd like to ask more clarifying questions. I would be more than happy to answer them. I should mention that my lake house is the number one lake house on Mayo Lake, with over 110 5-star reviews across the two major platforms. The results speak for themselves. I hope you consider my lake house and disregard this erroneous review above.

Beautiful House with awesome views!

The photo's don't do this house justice one the benefits was the indoor porch with heater's. Me and my partner needed a getaway but unfortunately it was raining and a little chilly that weekend and the indoor porch was a gem! U wont be disappointed ❤

Incredible stay!

This place is remarkable! We really wish we had more time to spend at the house.Everything you can imagine is here to relax, enjoy the scenery, canoe on the lake, fish…it’s here. The house itself is the cleanest I’ve probably seen.And it’s beautiful on the inside. The beds are so comfortable. The amenities are out of this world! You will not go wrong with this place. And Adi is the best in communicating and making sure your stay is the best! We are hoping to stay here again!

Say “I do”

We stayed over the week end because our daughter was getting married at The Caroline Estate. The house is beautiful. The house is located right by the water and it was so nice to sit outside and enjoy the fresh air before going to the wedding. The game room was a hit for our two grand children and our young adult kids. We would say “I Do” to coming back to this house for a lake stay next time. Loved it.

Pleasant retreat with plenty to do

We came down to NC to visit in early November to decompress and catch up with a friend. Adi was super communicative and gracious the entire time and really made us feel welcome at the cabin. The place is spacious with beautiful views. The kitchen is well equipped and there are plenty of things to do at the house if you visit in the colder months (foosball, pool table, board games, movies, and the hot tub). It was too chilly for us to spend time on the water but there are canoes and life jackets available should you want to. Highly recommend coming out and spending a few nights if you just want to relax. Also, town is 15 min away so you’re pretty close to anything you might need.

We had such a great stay! We absolutely loved Mayo Lake and couldn’t have asked for a better spot right on the water. The house had everything we needed and more, and there was something for everyone in our family to enjoy, no matter their age. The fishing on the lake was excellent, which was definitely a highlight of our trip! The owner was also very responsive and helpful with anything that came up during our stay. We really enjoyed our time here and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing lake getaway!

We wish we could have stayed longer! It was clean and fun and beautiful. The lake was pure heaven. Only issue is that we asked for a late checkout on the welcome text we received, and we were under the impression it was approved. But apparently the text is a bot and not a method of communication (why use it then??) The owners then sent a message on the app on the very last night, quite late (we were already in bed) that we couldn’t check out late. There was a distinct lag in the app messaging system (I don’t think that’s the owners’ fault) as we had been previously talking about the broken hot tub. So of course we didn’t see the message that we couldn’t check out late. We’re from the west coast, so we slept in the next day and were in the middle of a relaxing breakfast when the cleaners showed up. The owners were very nice about it and didn’t charge us, but it wasn’t very fun packing up seven people in thirty minutes, and not being able to take showers and really get ready for the day. It was hours until our flight and we had planned on more lake time, but instead we had nothing to do. A disappointing end to a truly delightful stay, that could have been avoided with better communication.

Other than the long gravel road into the property everything was wonderful. The long road in serves a purpose, it keeps the place quiet and secluded. The 2 back decks, one open and one screened in are a great place to relax with coffee or a drink. The dock gets plenty of hours of sunshine for swimming. Kayaks were supplied and used. There were a couple of nights when all 5 bedrooms were filled. Everyone was fine with the mattresses. The game room was a hit with the younger guests. Cornhole, swimming, fishing and the firepit kept us busy outside. A perfect place for a family gathering. All of the action and all of the peace and quiet at the same time. Great place. We did have one minor glitch which was handled quickly by the owner. Checkin and checkout was painless. Definite do over if we are in the area.
