Centrally located in North Capitol Hill, this sunny grand 1912 three-story house can act as your peaceful base to explore Seattle. You'll love the natural light and spaciousness of the rooms. The neighborhood is extremely peaceful and residential, but only a 5-10 min drive to the restaurants, cafes, and bars of vibrant Capitol Hill, a 10-min drive to hip Wallingford/Fremont, and around 5 mins to the UW. Lake Union, Portage Bay, Volunteer Park, and Interlaken Park are mere minutes away.
On the first floor, you'll find a living room and dining room that flow into each other. There is also a bathroom with a shower on this level. Toward the back, you will find the kitchen that includes a breakfast/eating area and direct access to the back deck and yard beyond.
The second story has a second bathroom, an office, a master bedroom with a queen bed, and a bedroom/office with a twin-sized sofa bed.
The third floor has a third bedroom with a queen-sized high-quality futon bed as well as a small bonus room. (Note: to access the second-floor bathroom from the third floor, guests have to walk through the main bedroom on the second floor. This could be an issue if trying to access the bathroom in the middle of the night.)
Parking is easy on the street. You can park right in front of the house.
*The person making the reservation must be 25 years old or older.
*Note: There is no air conditioning provided in this home. However, we do have central heating, but it is only on the first and second floors. The third floor has an electrical heating that is operated manually with two separate dials.
The rest of the house is controlled with the Nest thermostat in the dining room.
