I booked this for the outdoor space. There were spiderwebs everywhere. Some were so think that you knew it hadn’t had upkeep on the outside for a long time. The paint on the deck is coming off all over. Overgrowth of bushes on the wheelchair ramp was a problem. The outdoor laundry doors were metal and the paint was coming off and the door was rusted. It had a very dirty appearance. The inside was very clean except for the dinning chairs. All chairs had really bad stains. The kitchen lights did not work. I messaged thru Verbo and got no response, so we spent the week without the lights. The bedsheets on one of the beds were too small and kept coming off. It would have been an excellent place if not for the above.

I thourghly enjoyed my stay at Gray's Place. It was private and serene. Spending mornings on the deck listening to the rushing water and nature was the perfect way to start and end my day. They have upgraded the deck furniture from the pictures. The cabin is very clean. The bed is firm and the bath for the primary bedroom is very large. I was looking to get away, not doing anything toursit like. There are beautiful scenic drives that I fully enjoyed. The cabin is located less than an hour from Gatlinburg, about an hour from Maggie Valley, and other attractions if that is what you are looking for. In the immediate area there is a DG market less than a mile from the cabin, Janice's diner just 2 miles away with wonderful home cooking. There is also an apple orchard within a couple of miles and 321 bbq is great. My only issue was I didn't receive the code to the door to check in, but that was quickly resolved and I had no problems after that. I should have checked before I left home and everything would have been seemless. I would not hesitate to stay again.

It was very peaceful. Setting on balcony listening to the water. I wish thier was a walkway down to the water. The only negative was some of the lights need light bulbs. The fluid lights in kitchen would not work. Everything else was great.

Family getaway

The deck overlooking the creek was very peaceful. The cabin itself was very nice especially the wood floors and high ceilings. Overall very pleasant

Excellent cabin

The cabin was exactly as described. The creek was so peaceful and relaxing. Close to major stores but secluded.

Nice, relaxing get a away

The major draw was the Cosby creek. We loved just sitting outside and listening to water go by. Bonus items were the fireplace (just enough to take the chill off), grill and laundry. Although there isn’t much in the area to do, it’s close enough to the Smokey’s and Cosby park. Autumn is the best time to come. It’s a slower pace in the area and the Market Dollar General just up road made our stay that much nicer.
