Perfect beach getaway

Excellent beach house. Great short walk to beach access yet still quiet at the house at night. Loved the front deck/porch. Room for all 9 to sit & enjoy the sun or nighttime breeze. Very spacious bedrooms for all. 3 bathrooms were perfect as well. Very well stocked with all accessories. Weather couldn’t have been any better!!

Nice Property

We found the house to be perfect for our needs. The downstairs provides a space for children to play or watch tv separate from the upstairs main area. There is one bedroom that does not have a tv, which would be nice.

Perfect long weekend

This was a family trip to celebrate our youngest daughter's graduation from college. The downstairs bedroom arrangement in particular was very helpful for part of our family who have a newborn. They were able to spread out and have privacy and not worry about waking any of the rest of us up. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was adequately stocked. We should have told the rental authorities that the dishwasher was not working well, but if renters don't report that there's no way they would know. The deck was delightful and we spent a lot of our time there. We were able to walk to and from the Oceanic and the beach. Thoughtful touches like a beach cart were a pleasant surprise. We will definitely stay here again!

Donna, we are so thrilled to hear you and your family loved the Fritz unit! Sounds like it ended up being the perfect layout for your group with the downstairs being separate. I appreciate your report of the dishwasher and will send that in to maintenance to look into although we have not heard of any other issues since your stay. The deck is definitely one of the best aspects of this unit, with ample space and seating to unwind and relax in a quiet residential area. Congrats to your daughter on graduating as well, very exciting! We hope you will all visit us again someday soon, you'll always have a place with us! Thank you again, Donna!

if concerned about roaches, stay away

The house is in a decent location, beds are adequate and there was enough space for our family, BUT we found an enormous dead roach upon entering the place, literally inside the entrance. Then we noticed the bathrooms hadn't really been cleaned because there were hairs in the bathtubs and under the toilet seat. When we called the rental company, they apologized and sent a cleaning team out the next morning and said they'd spray for bugs. The cleaners came and the bathrooms looked much better. The second night, we found another enormous roach, dead by a chair downstairs. The kids were scared to sleep down there because they thought bugs would walk on them at night. I called again but was told it's just "part of being down there and at least they were dead". Seriously. If you spray for bugs and find them inside after several months of service, please understand that you need an exterminator, not just pest management. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Melinda, thank you for the feedback. We hate that you ran into some issues during your stay. We did everything within our power to resolve the issues you ran into. We hate that the cleanliness of the unit did not meet your standards, and we sent cleaners out as soon as possible. Again, water bugs are very common in coastal areas this time of year. This home is under contract with an exterminator and receives regular treatment, and additionally we sprayed again per your request. If there are dead bugs, that means the treatment is working to kill the pests that are unavoidable in our climate. We wish you the best!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented Fritz to have a family vacation at Wrightsville Beach, NC. The location was very convenient as it was just one block from the beach and close to pier. The bedroom set up was ideal with a lower level for the kids with their own bathroom. The upper level for the adults. The house was well maintained and very accommodating. If we have the opportunity we would rent the cottage again.

Nice vacation house

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a very nice stay at the Fritz. The house is very well situated - close to beach access and to the sound. There were 7 adults and one child. The house isn't large, however it fit our needs and didn't feel too crowded. The kitchen was well equipped and the house was clean. We had one maintenance issue with a drain in the lower level bathroom. They came out right away and fixed it.

Thank you so much for your review from your stay at Fritz, Martha! We are excited to hear you enjoyed your stay at the beach! We have maintenance technicians on call 24/7 should any issues arise during your stay and would have loved the opportunity to check on that dryer for you before you checked out. Our tech inspected the dryer and found it to be working properly so it should not impact future guest stays. I will let maintenance know about the fridge filter and get that replaced. Thank you for choosing to rent with our company and we hope you will choose Fritz for your next getaway!
