The hosts were great with communications and the house was more than advertised. Inside had every comfort needed, kitchen was supplied with most any utensil and appliance you could want, and the spaces were comfortable and uniquely designed. The master shower was amazing. Outside it had several comfortable spaces including a rooftop patio with sauna, side yard covered patio, play area for children, and a fire pit area. The garage/game room was well equipped for indoor activities and beach/outdoor “toys” of all kinds. This is one of the most comfortable, easy to use, and well equipped houses we have rented on VRBO. Thank you Katie!

We had a wonderful stay. The house and location were just as described. The south end of Indiana Dunes National Park was a 3 minute drive and the rest of the park was within 20 minutes. Short walk to the beach from the house and all beach supplies were provided! We had a great time and would definitely recommend a stay here!

Dunes house

Fantastic house in a great location right by the national park. Had everything we needed. Plenty of beach stuff and enjoyed the ping-pong table and video game in the garage. We would love to stay here again.

Great girls weekend at the beach!

My friends and I were looking for a staycation near the beach and this house was above and beyond what we expected. Such a hidden gem! The host left a cute little welcome package and was checking in to be sure we were enjoying our stay which was super appreciated! Highly recommend this for families and friends!

GREAT Loocation and Beautiful Property

We come here every year and this is the BEST location and property that we have ever stayed in. The home is so functional for my niece (teenager) and young nephews. The outside area is relaxing and less than 1 block from the beach. The home is such a delight that I almost did not want to leave. Every thing you need is here!

Amazing Stay

We’ll definitely be booking again. Absolutely beautiful home and guest service, thank you so much for our short stay! Kitchen is fully stocked, we cooked a few meals. Used oven, range, etc. Bed was so comfortable (need to get the brand) and shower was nice! Office and Wifi are on point, and we even played a few games they provided. Location and walk way to the beach was nice and short. Only issue was, wish we could spend more time! Thank you

Modern Oasis Trip March 2024

We are a family of 5 my boys are 18, 21 (twins). We absolutely loved it and will book again in the summer. So happy with the kitchen cuz we prepared and ate all meals there. Everything I needed and more was available. Plus a cute welcome note with snacks and cold drinks was a nice thoughtful touch. We also enjoyed the fire pit (wood provided), grill, charming private yard, surround sound tv room, darts, how close the walk to the beach was, we hiked at both Indiana Dunes National Park and Indiana Dunes State Park, nice second small fridge upstairs for drinks, washer and dryer. Host was very responsive before and during our trip. Everything was even better than the pictures. Easy from beginning to end. It was so nice to have 3 full bathrooms too. Such a cute place inside and outside. They really thought of everything you would need to have a nice relaxing vacation, I really loved that we had the beach all to ourselves finding rocks and shells looking at Chicago across Lake Michigan. Even though it rained all night long the sandy hiking trails were fine the next day. So nice to drive just an hour from our house and get out and exercise on the trails and beach. Thank you Katie for making our stay perfect. Our family really appreciated and enjoyed your beautiful Miller Beach home.

Second booking, and it was once again pleasant.Clean, a great location, and excellent communication with the host. The proximity to the beach is fantastic, and—most importantly—it has all the necessary amenities. Dunes Beach National Park offers numerous hikes, and the "3 Dunes Challenge" is a must-do. We caught a local baseball game on a Friday featuring fireworks; the kids were even given a bat and ball to use during the game. It’s the perfect distance for taking a few trips into the city of Chicago!
