This beautiful property was very clean upon arrival. The host has been prompt in response to any questions we had. We are a family of 9, two of those toddlers. This was perfect for us. Beach access was wonderful, and the pool access just as close. The ocean was clean and beautiful as well. On our last night, there was a small issue with the air. Our host was prompt in responding and had someone come out to fix it right away.

perfect for our family

We really enjoyed the property. The private beach was just right. The owner was easy to communicate with and quick to respond to our needs. We definitely had a laundry issue with a broken washer, but the owner reimbursed us for the laundry service we had to use.It was a holiday, so the service couldn't come repair.

Literally Perfect

I literally wish this was my home!!! It is the best location with all the necessities of family, ie: baby gates installed, roll away crib, pack and play, beach toys and chairs, high chair…. The location is right on the private beach. We stayed over the 4th of July and had a perfect view as fireworks were all around us. The Littles loved it! The beds are so comfortable and living accommodations lack nothing. The hostess was so sweet and quickly responded to any questions and communications I sent. I have already recommended this place to a friend and we will seek this place on our return to Destin. Furnishings and decor were so comfortable. Again, I wish I lived here!!!

5 stars! Well worth the money

The property was very nice and we were impressed by all the details and all the thought put into it. Our kids are grown, but there was a highchair, baby gates, adjustable mattresses for his and her side and all kinds of other things that were provided to make the overall stay better. The absolute best part is the private beach. The beach was packed, but our area was not and was managed very well by the beach attendant. Glenda was very easy to communicate with and was very responsive. Overall great place to stay! We will be back…

Just what we needed!

I can’t speak highly enough about this Townhouse! It’s spacious, beds were pretty comfy, it’s clean, everything you’d need as if you were at home, there is gates you can close on each level to help keep the littles safe, baby bed set up if ya need it, bikes for a stroll, more beach chairs to add to the two you already get that is set up daily from 9 a.m-5 p.m. the owner has so many things to choose from on the bottom floor deck storage such as shovels, buckets, body boards, frisbees, kites, nets, toys etc. Needless to say save room in the car because all the stuff you need for fun in the sun on the beach is already there. Restaurants and shopping are just a hope skip and a jump away. The ocean views didn’t disappoint! Three levels of beauty! The white sands and the different shades of blue were breathtaking. The beach is your backyard literally! Check in is definitely a breeze and easy. I highly recommend this property to stay at, we’ll definitely be back. We’ve found our new vacation stay! So go book it to see for yourself. It’s totally worth it!

Destin

The location of this condo was really nice. The beach was close enough to see my family members swimming & having fun. The “private” beach area was nice. The host Glenda was very prompt in her replies but I think she was not fully aware of the issues with the condo itself. Upon arrival the 2nd story was freezing cold & the 3rd story was miserably hot. Air was not coming out of the vents on the top floor. Portable fans (supplied) were used & temperature became manageable. I had to buy a new AC filter as the one in use had obviously not been changed in a while & was very dirty. This helped. It would have been nice if there had been a new one provided by the host so that I would not have had to buy one. The condo was dirty & the closets were filled with what appeared to be baby furniture. It was great for families that need the stuff but it prevented us from using most of the closets. The inside of the condo showed signs of wear & needed to be painted. The furniture upholstery was stained, dirty, & needed to be cleaned. Bed linens smelled & needed to be washed. Which we did. This should not have been something that a guest needed to have to deal with. I think that the cleaning service used by the owner is not doing their job properly. The sliding doors on the balconies were poorly maintained causing my son to get stuck outside. *Bicycles were not usable.*Garage was not usable to park car.*No elevator as stated in description.*Dishes, pots, & pans in kitchen were dirty.
AC filter. I bought a new one and changed.
Rusted and filthy trash cans on main deck.
Linen closet on first floor when we arrived.
Bicycles with flat tires and broken chain.

We are sorry the condo disappointed. We have learned over the years that some families are better suited to resorts/hotels which is perfectly fine. The AC unit is brand new, installed in May. I offered to have a service call, but you declined asking for us to wait until you were gone. I was unaware of the filter until AFTER you had replaced it. There were replacement filters on site…if only you had asked. The second floor closet is full of gear. That is factual. It is filled with gear that the majority of our guests want and use. (Baby crib, portable play pen, etc) The master closet however stores only a vacuum and the bunk room stores a box fan. These closets have ample room. I cannot comment on the bed linens as I was not there. We rarely get complaints on cleaning. Again, had you mentioned it at any point prior to this review, I would have made the cleaners return. We put a lot of effort into maintaining our property. Some examples include: Quarterly appliance inspections, quarterly deep cleans, new AC, new washing machine. The bikes are functional, you just need to use the pump (on site) to air up the tires as they slowly loose air in the garage. The sliding doors are heavy intentionally. Small Children should not be able to access a deck alone. Sorry your child found himself in that situation. I’m glad no one was injured. The garage is neither advertised or listed for parking. And we do not advertise an elevator. I’m not sure where you found this misinformation, but it’s possible it’s a software glitch in VRBOs platform. I wish you luck with your next vacation.
