So I'll start with the fact that the host was wonderful and the house was as expected, 127 years old. It had the charm and wear consistent with its age combined with some upgrades over the century. As for the neighborhood and surrounding area, completely out of the owner's control. Niagara Falls, New York has suffered a major decline. Once you leave the immediate vicinity of the falls, the area is unsafe. Hundreds of homes and businesses are in such terrible condition that they are boarded up and condemned. I spent much of our stay concerned about our safety and the safety of our personal property and car. If you are planning to stay in Niagara Falls, knowing that the area is what it is, then I would recommend this property. It was priced right and offered sleeping arrangements for 9-15 people. Plenty of towels, complimentary coffee and water, and street parking. The two bathrooms might be a bit over taxed with too many guests, but it could work for you. Know that there aren't many restaurants around the area, so be prepared to drive a few minutes away to eat. There are dishes to eat from, but not a ton of cookware. Again, if you're talented, you could make it work. We were a family of 4 and ate cereal and donuts for breakfast. We had an enjoyable time. Being 1 mile from the falls made for a quick and easy visit.
