Welcome to La Bella Vita, a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom Gulf front condo located at Martinique on the Gulf. This resort is a classic beach community on Alabama’s glorious Gulf Coast. Located on the Fort Morgan Peninsula just west of Gulf Shores, La Bella Vita offers everything a beach vacationer could want in a resort setting. At Martinique, you’ll find the perfect vacation experience offering luxury amenities in a laid-back neighborhood community. Escape to a peaceful beach setting with a multitude of activities and amenities just steps from your door.

About La Bella Vita

With approximately 1,450 square feet of living space, this comfortable two-bedroom, two-bath first-floor condominium offers beautiful views of the Gulf from the master bedroom, the living area, and a large patio. The fully appointed kitchen includes an eat-in breakfast area, microwave, dishwasher, and laundry area with a full-size washer and dryer. Other features include 9-foot ceilings throughout, ceiling fans, central heating and air conditioning, and a large master bath with a whirlpool tub, separate glass-enclosed shower, double vanity, and lots of closet space.

The beauty of Martinique is unparalleled as it is located on 55 acres of lush natural foliage and is nestled alongside the 4,200-acre Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge.

About Fort Morgan

Located halfway between Gulf Shores and Fort Morgan, Martinique on the Gulf offers a convenient location that is less than 20 minutes away from the heart of Gulf Shores, but allows for a more peaceful and relaxing environment away from the hustle and bustle.
Fort Morgan is a quiet beach community away from the crowds and congestion. On the peninsula, guests will find the following restaurants: Tacky Jacks 2, Sassy Bass, Coast Restaurant, The Village Hideaway, and The Kiva Grill. Guests can play golf at the Peninsula or at Kiva Dunes. There is an accessible boat launch and marina at the Gulf Shores Marina at Fort Morgan. Last but not least, there is a historical Civil War Site to explore at the Fort Morgan Historic Site. There is something for everyone in Fort Morgan!

We love people of all ages, and we want everyone to enjoy our homes. However, we do require that an adult 25 years or older to reserve the home and be present at the home during your entire stay. We do not rent to anyone under the age of 25. We have no exception to this policy.

Highly recommend new master bedroom mattress-we can feel the springs and my husband slept terribly this week. Needs new pans they’re extremely scratched Teflon-see photos. Needs new plate sets-the main ones are from Corelle 1970’s and their website notes these likely contain lead and should be display only. Immediately left the condo to buy new pans and paper plates. Jetted bath tub doesn’t work, the caulking on that and the master shower are interesting. The check-in process leaves more the be desired. We travel A LOT, everywhere we go offers early check-in. This condo was empty 2 days prior to our trip and yet it “wasn’t ready” and they couldn’t contact their own contractors to see if they could have it ready early-stating they didn’t know how to reach them. This is wild when you own a business. We opened the door at 4pm (earliest allowed) to start our trip and a woman was in there who had a strong tobacco odor. She seemed annoyed we were there at the contracted check-in time. After traveling so long, with a medical needs child we needed to rest. She left about 4:12. The tobacco odor lingered (perhaps was already there?) in the condo which irritated our son’s asthma and my overall senses (no allergies). Added air fresheners to the Walmart trip, the odor never really went away. Nice things about the condo-bunk bed, ice machine, nice patio table. There was a bit of liter by the patio.

Perfect Getaway

We had a fantastic time on our vacation, and staying at the Martinique was a delight! The beach and pools were very quick and easy to access. The condo was clean and well appointed. It was all so easy and worry free. Check in and out was super easy. We want to stay there again next year!

The area and location was wonderful. The condo itself really does need to be deep cleaned. The upstairs guests/owners were extremely loud the entire time we stayed. Other than that the location and neighborhood was very nice and quiet. We would stay again but in another condo or house.

Great place to stay

Overall, it was a wonderful place. Nice furnishings & great location. The key to the gym did not work for some reason & that was never resolved (not a problem for me, but my teenage son was a little disappointed). The ice machine & the wine cooler in the kitchen didn't work, but that was not a big deal to us at all, because we didn't need to use them. We had a great time & the weather was perfect!
