The road literally ends at our beachfront property. Villas Ecositas Nosara is located in Playa Pelada in one of the most beautiful and serene locations in all of Nosara. No dust, no traffic, direct ocean front property. Once you arrive, no need to drive as you can walk or bike along our beach to stores, restaurants and surf. The sound of surf permeates the air and the nearly private beach is a short stroll from your doorstep on our private path through the 100 meter protected maritime zone.

Villas Ecositas Nosara is a learning center, a retreat, a very special place to bask in nature, or the sun on the beach, enjoy a sunrise or sunset surf, yoga on the beach or under our unique teak triple reciprocal roof yoga pavilion.

Villas Ecositas is yours to carve out and craft your own special time in paradise—to add the finishing touches to your novel, host your intimate beachfront wedding or your own yoga or healing retreat, or simply do nothing. How you enjoy our beautiful and unique property is up to you.

Whether you choose to laze your days away sipping morning coffee or evening cocktails on our nearly private beach or around the pool, or crafting your own private retreat, one thing is for sure, you will find villas Ecositas Nosara to be your own special piece of paradise. Greatly enjoyed our stay in early March at Casa Lapa - Steve was an attentive and gracious host. Could add friends and family with the other casitas in his complex. Easy access to Playa Pelada (short trail to beach) was a highlight and made for great beach outings. Afternoon pool dips were a refreshing break from the heat. Found the casita and its open floor plan comfortable for the 3 of us, and our 11 year old sun loved having the loft -- a/c, beds, kitchen, hot water worked fine and loved the outdoor shower and deck. Wildlife sounds abound (ex. howler monkeys, macaws) - we enjoyed and slept like rocks, but if you're sensitive to sounds, would bring white noise. Neat house and furniture of local tropical hardwoods crafted by Steve, and house and grounds were clean and well kept. Check other rental site for reviews. Walked to most places and took tuk-tuks when needed. If you're thinking of renting a vehicle, would take shuttle (Steve arranged) from Liberia and then rent car/atv/electric bike in Pelada or Guiones. We looked at Guiones to stay, but glad we picked Pelada -- thought it was quieter and nicer beach. Took a couple of tours and went to Guiones for market day, but mostly enjoyed the beach -- had fun fishing off beach, snorkeling, birding (aviary across the road has the "lapas" or scarlet macaws), and exploring beach trails to Guiones and Rio Nosara. Would definitely repeat!
