Enjoy lots of sunlight in the A frame living room. The property is surrounded by trees and a deck that wraps around the house has ample seating for BBQ, sunbathing or just relaxing. Walk to Lake Ontario beach through a 30 acre Town park featuring nature trails, outdoor workout equipment, frisbee golf and outdoor grills with gazebo.
House is nettled in the woods and night time fire pit with marshmallows roasting ends the day beautifully.
You are only 5 minues from Fort Niagara Museum and Park
Only 13 minute drive to Niagara Falls and 10 minute drive to historic Lewiston.
It's an escape and peaceful retreat.

We had a wonderful time. The house was exactly as expected and the host is kind and welcoming. We arrived to freshly baked muffins, enjoyed the above-ground pool, and walked to the lake. The kids enjoyed the classic board games on hand, too.

Everything was nice and all, but the pictures oversold the property. The property owner was within eye sight, where I thought it was more secluded. The hot tub was an inflatable that kept blowing a fuse and was very small. Many of the renovations look like there were done by an amateur. Example: The flooring had gaps in the room I stayed in. The shot glasses weren't clean. There was Jesus stuff everywhere. The grill also didn't work.

Amazing Place!

We stayed here over Thanksgiving and it was perfect! We had everything we needed to cook a Thanksgiving dinner, relax by the fire and enjoy a peaceful retreat.

My family of 5 absolutely loved our stay. The house was clean and comfortable. My 3 boys thought the path through the woods to the park and lake was the coolest thing they had ever seen. We played disc golf, went fishing, and spent hours on the shoreline finding sea glass and keepsake rocks. When we returned back to the house each day, exhausted but happy, we had a safe and comfortable place to relax and recoup for the next day’s adventures. Communication with Barbara was easy and quick. Every need we had was met and then some. The breakfast foods in the refrigerator when we arrived were an extra nice touch as was the grocery store recommendation on our way into town. We had the best time and can’t wait to return again soon.

Book club getaway

My book club and I did an overnight stay here and it was wonderful! The place was clean and the host was very welcoming and easy to get ahold of! I would definitely stay here again if the need ever arose.

After a day of sightseeing, it was nice to get away from the bustle of tourism to this gem of a location. We showed up a little late, but check-in was easy. Our host was very nice and accommodating. The complimentary muffins were delicious!

Simply perfect

Visiting family in the area, perfect location. Able to accommodate 4adults and 2 children comfortably. Clean and spacious, frig was stocked with breakfast items, a lovely surprise, short walk to the water and playground area. Would definitely stay at this property again. Hostess was readily available for any questions.

Family Getaway

We enjoyed our stay. Home was just like the pictures and very clean. We were welcomed with muffins and jazz music playing. Barbara was gracious and took the time to give me a tour of the path that leads to the park and to Lake Ontario. Enjoyed our time in the hot tub!

Local get away with friends

House was perfect for our needs. Very friendly owner, had everything ready when we got there and some. 3 couples just getting away from kids for a night to hang out, house was perfect. We had no complaints, and actually have plans to rent again when the weather is a bit nicer.

This location was ideal for our trip to historic Youngstown, Fort Niagra, Lake Ontario and Niagra Falls. The short stroll to Lake Ontario from the back yard was a perfect escape for some quiet time. The house was clean and comfortable and the upstairs suite was dreamy. Our host was very thoughtful and responded same day when the hot tub needed attention.The driveway is a little hard to spot, especially at night.All in all a great place to stay.

The kitchen had everything we needed and we really appreciated the muffins and other breakfast items. The bedrooms were comfortable and the dining room table worked out well. The weather was very cold and wind when we were there but if not for the wind we would have used the hot tub but unfortunately it was not suitable for use. I would recommit if you are planning on using it in the off season you notify the host prior to checkin. Also an instruction book for use of hot tub and wood fireplace would be nice as we were not familiar with the use of either.

Beautiful area, house is well appointed, comfortable, and quiet. We had a multi-generational group family group, with my parents, my wife and I and our three kids 6&under. Kids loved swimming in the pool, the hot tub on the deck, and playing outside. Windows and dry large deck help bring in the nature! Wi-fi is great, with a desk set up. Neighborhood park with Lake Ontario access is accessible from the back yard. Walked there multiple times to see the (beautiful) sunset, play at the playground, and test the waters.

Amazing peaceful getaway

We arrived after being notified the property was ready early with some fresh muffins -- once we arrived we found a nice clean home, with soft jazz playing as we entered the property. The host, who is conveniently located on the same property but down the drive a bit in an apartment, came after dinner and walked me and my kiddos to the park ( it is a cute walk through the woods) and showed us how to get to the Lake. What a beautiful location and property. She was very kind and welcoming! There is not a lot of close places to eat , but we did find a cute pub down the street that had AMAZING FOOD, and even better service. Highly recommend it as well! This is so close to so many attractions, and the home is comfortable and clean. I know our host even purchased a new hot tub for our visit and it was enjoyed by all. My kids loved the loft and massage chair as we watched some movies together during the rainy days. Thank you for an amazing welcoming home! We enjoyed the entire stay!

STAY HERE IT IS AMAZING

My wife and I stayed here for a week with my parents and it was heavenly! We were a little anxious about the bathrooms, as the listing said there was 1.5, but that is incorrect, this house has 2 full bathrooms that were clean and lovely. This entire house is just gorgeous. The grounds are gorgeous. The deck/porch is full of relaxing chairs and the woods are full of singing birds and the house has anything you could possibly need just waiting for you. Our favorite parts were the hot tub on the deck and the massage chair and foot massager in the loft! The kitchen is well stocked with almost any implement you need and everything is clean and well kept. The mattresses were too soft for me, but my wife prefers that style. A+++ 100% would stay here again. An amazing rental with charm and character. Barbara was such a thoughtful hostess. I really can’t say enough good things. If you can get it, rent it!here again

I highly recommend staying here. You will absolutely feel welcomed, relaxed, and well taken care of. Barbara went above and beyond to make our stay an absolutely fabulous experience. From the moment we arrived, my family and I completely fell in love with the place and honestly wished we had more time to stay.The rooms were spotless, the hot tub was wonderful, breakfast was delicious, and all of the amenities were clean and fully functional. But what really made our stay special was Barbara herself. She was incredibly thoughtful and generous, making sure we had everything we needed and then going the extra mile to make our experience memorable.She even let us use her personal kayak and personally walked us to a beautiful, clean lakefront nearby. She provided fishing hooks and bait for us to enjoy some fishing, and she also had bicycles available for us to use. These little touches made us feel less like guests and more like family.Barbara is truly one of the best hosts we’ve ever had. Her kindness, hospitality, and attention to detail made our staycation unforgettable. We can’t wait to go back and hopefully stay much longer next time!

This is an absolutely beautiful home close to everything. It gives you the feel like your in the country but you are within 10-15 minutes of everything. The park behind the home is great with an outside workout spot, pickle ball, and of course Lake Erie. The muffins and eggs were a nice touch as well. Thanks for sharing your home with us, we had a great time!

We have 5 kids and 6 grandkids.
We love people and we love entertaining guests.

Derfor valgte værten dette overnatningssted

The proximity to the Lake without the noise and maintenece of being on the water - the large park aloows us to enjoy frisbee and long walks. The place is serene and peaceful not to mention beautiful.
