Would stay here again in a heartbeat. The pluses were the timely and friendly communication with our host Margaret, being pet friendly, and the accommodations in a house that is decorated in antique fashion and very comfortable. The location is in a quaint village, close to the river (great sunsets) with multiple restaurants and shops to chose from. Very convenient to Canada and the Falls. We recommend the house for anyone visiting this area.

Fantastic house in a charming town. Easily walkable to shops, restaurants and concert venue. We had such a great time! Thanks so much for allowing us to stay in your home. The fluffy towels were a real bonus.

This property in Lewiston, New York was undoubtably the nicest house we have ever stayed in. Let's start with the outside area. The exterior was beautifully maintained and there was a beautiful patio area where we could have our morning coffee. The interior was the nicest I have seen with so many nice areas to sit and relax in - we always chose the sun room. I have never seen a cleaner home! The upstairs was great and I slept soundly in the king size bed. The kitchen had great appointments with every type of high quality cookware you can imagine. It was so nice that we cooked in several nights even though the restaurants of Lewiston were a five minute walk away. The cooking was made possible because there was a great grocery store only a five minute drive away - Tops. Now let's look at location - the house was only minutes (walking) away from great restaurants and the Niagara River. Also we were a 20 minute - very easy - drive to Niagara Falls. Finally the communication with the host - Margaret was fantastic.

The house is old and needs some minor fixes. Kitchen faucet is loose, one of the shower doors doesn’t stay in the track and the floors upstairs don’t feel very solid and are very noisy. Great location and overall we enjoyed our stay. Dog next door was constantly barking at the slightest noise.

Wonderful!

Beautiful home. Charming and clean. Very comfortable furniture and beds. 5 adults and a 9 yr old, and we were all very comfortable. The location was ideal for walking to Lewiston’s beautiful downtown, which we greatly enjoyed. Easy drive to the Falls, too! Highly recommend! We will be back!

Family Vacation

My husband and I with our adult children and future daughter-in-law spent a week in the Niagara Falls area. We stayed in this adorable home situated in a quaint town along the Niagara River. The home was so cozy and had everything we could possibly need. It was within walking distance of some fantastic restaurants as well as the river. We truly loved staying here and would highly recommend it!!

Niagra Falls Weekend trip

Enjoyed staying at this lovely home, located a block-and-a-half from the main strip in the village of Lewiston, with several restaurant options as well as a quick walk to the art park. It was nice to stay in a quiet community away from 'tourist ground zero', with Niagara Falls only being about 8 easily drivable miles away. (And if you're a 'distance' runner, there's a trail that passes through Lewiston and goes to the falls.)

Work stay

Love it. Great house and great townBest of all - Margaret is an awesome host. I travel for work and have stayed in many rental homes, this experience is top shelf. Definitely book this place again!

Very nice!! Like home away from home. Had a plow service for the snow removal. Easy walk to Town. Clean clean clean. Easy to contact owner. 10!!! Wonderful stay. Could use Kleenex in each bath.

Family reunion over Thanksgiving

My daughters love this house that is easy walking to the Niagara River and restaurants and shopping. The house was immaculately clean and the host left amenities and updated decorations for the holiday season. The host was accessible and very accommodating, helping to make for a wonderful family reunion weekend. This is our second time renting and will gladly come back. Our thanks to the host!! BTW the kitchen was well stocked with equipment and modern new appliances.

Perfect location and great town

We really enjoyed our stay at this property in Lewiston and highly recommend it. Very comfortable accommodations for our family of 4. Beds are super comfy, house is clean and everything we needed for a 4 day stay was available to us. We loved location. Quiet street, great neighborhood and just around the corner from the heart of town. Lewiston is a great town and we plan a return visit we enjoyed it so much.

Lovely time in Lewiston

We had an amazing family trip to Lewiston/Niagara Falls. The house was perfect for our family of 5. The neighborhood was excellent, the host was incredibly responsive, and the location was perfect (close to the falls as well as downtown Buffalo). We would love to return!

Wonderful Stay!

Lovely home in a great location, walkable to parks, shops, and restaurants. Beautiful outdoor space. Updated appliances and kitchen had everything you would need to settle in for a week. We loved our time here and will be back!

Charming house close to many fun attractions

My family stayed at this house to go visit Niagara Falls and it was so perfect. The house is cute and clean with a nice private yard. The location is on a beautiful street close to Lewiston's fun main street and Lewiston Landing. It was a quick drive to different state park stops and the Falls. I will definitely be recommending it to friends and other family!

Great home away from home!!

Margaret's home in Lewiston is the perfect location for exploring the Western New York area and is very close to Niagra Falls if that is on your list of places to visit. The home is very comfortable and well appointed - truly a home away from home. The kitchen is well stocked and has everything needed to prepare a meal. The master bedroom is very spacious and the bed is comfortable. Plenty of closet and storage space for your belongings. Margaret was very responsive to the few inquiries I made. You are within walking distance to downtown Lewiston and the neighborhood is very quiet on a side street with little to no traffic. I would highly recommend this property and hope to return again someday!!

Amazing house

Gorgeous home in a quiet beautiful area. We loved that everything we needed was in the house. We were 11 mins from the falls and hiking trails. Amazing property and owner was available for any questions. We plan on staying there in the future again.

Lovely Home

This was a lovely older home. It is just as advertised. Clean, comfortable, within walking distance to the river and shops. Close to the Falls and gorge trails. Check in and out was very easy. Thank you for a wonderful weekend.
