The cabin size and description was accurate. We did encounter some ants along the kitchen counters, window sills, and bathroom sink. Nothing alarming. The bed furthest away from the doorway in the room with 2 beds was very creaky. Had a difficult time trying to sleep with the noise. The attic in that same room was a little creepy. It must be used for storage but my kids felt a little uncomfortable. Amenities were very nice as far as having a washer & dryer and kitchen appliances like coffee machines and other appliances. We had an enjoyable stay otherwise.

hank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are glad to hear that the cabin matched its description, that you enjoyed the kitchen appliances and in-unit washer and dryer, and that you had an enjoyable stay overall. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the creaky bed, as well as the ant activity along the kitchen and bathroom surfaces. Your comments have been passed directly to our maintenance team to address the bed frame and to our pest control team to ensure the space is thoroughly treated. We also appreciate you sharing your family’s feedback regarding the locked attic storage access, and we will look into ways to make that room feel more comfortable for younger guests. We truly appreciate your honest feedback, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back for an even better stay on your next trip to Big Bear.

The check in process was smooth and communication was great. The location was amazing for fire works and 4th of July weekend! Our only complaints were the overall cleanliness of the house. The floors weren’t completely vacuumed in the living room and toys were thrown behind the TV. Sadly, the outdoor space wasn’t enjoyable. The backyard is overgrown with no where to walk or relax, and the front porch had two mismatched chairs with cobwebs on them. A little seating area out front would have added to our experience!

Thank you for sharing your review and for your feedback. We are glad to hear that you had a smooth check-in, enjoyed great communication with our team, and had an amazing location for the 4th of July fireworks! We sincerely apologize for the cleanliness issues you encountered and for the state of the outdoor spaces. Finding unvacuumed floors, stray items, and cobwebs is certainly not the standard we aim for, and we have shared your comments with our housekeeping team to ensure this is addressed. We also appreciate your input regarding the yard and front porch seating, as constructive notes like yours help us evaluate future improvements for the property. Thank you again for your honesty. We hope to have the chance to welcome you back for a much better experience in the future!

The cabin was cozy and spacious enough for a family of 4. The kitchen was fully stocked with equipment for cooking. However, there were no condiments, sprays or oils to cook with-those had to be brought. The cabin is conveniently located in Big Bear in the center of town, so getting anywhere was a quick 5-10 minute drive. The exterior of the cabin is not well kept. Lots of weeds in the driveway and backyard. The backyard does have a table and charcoal grill, but I did not take a close look to see if it was usable since the outside was not maintained. We did note a fair amount of cobwebs in the ceiling and windows. My wife has dust allergies and within minutes, she could feel the place was dusty. Outside of this, the cabin is clean. It has a fireplace that we put to use and overall, we had fun and would stay there again.

Thank you for taking the time to share your review and feedback. We are happy to hear that the cozy, spacious layout, fully stocked kitchen, and central location worked out so well for your family vacation, and that you were able to enjoy the fireplace. We sincerely apologize for the issues with the exterior maintenance and the cobwebs and dust inside the cabin. We completely understand how concerning that is, especially with dust allergies, and we regret the discomfort it caused your wife. We have notified our housekeeping and groundskeeping teams to perform a thorough deep clean, clear out all cobwebs and dust, and clean up the driveway, backyard, and outdoor furniture. Regarding kitchen items, per safety standards, we do not provide perishable cooking oils or condiments, but we appreciate your feedback on making that clearer for future guests. We truly appreciate your honesty and are glad to hear your family had a fun stay overall. We would love to welcome you back again for an even better experience next time!
