Sport weekend event

Nice house. A lot of space, and safe neighborhood. Great communication with the host.

Its Not a House Itdla duplex. Deceiving. Didnt end up staying

I have never given a bad review. NEVER... maybe i should of know better than booking a house without seeing the front of the place, not just interior photographs. This was not a single family home but a duplex. I was surprising my grandkids, daughter and son in law for Easter. Didnt feel comfortable with my young granddaughter and young grandson having to share any space inside/outside with other grown adults being able to see/watch them. I asked for a refund and was declined. Their advertising was not accurate.

the home is nice, kitchen is lovely. just many small inconveniences. filthy to say the least. beds were made with used sheets. air filter was super super dirty. the side of the house by the garage was hottt! like the air is not flowing. walls, light switches, door knob areas are super dirty. kids bed had a broken frame. kitchen faucet was broken so water dripped out. had to give it a tappy tap tap to get small water flow. no pizza pans or oven mitts. not much in e. no cleaning supplies. the house is supposed to accommodate up to ten ppl. there were 4 of us. luckily im a mom who travels heavy but only 4 bath towels were available.. went out n bought our own broom and mop just to keep up daily since we were there 4 nights. pool was accessible but also filthy. host said it was shocked day before our arrival but never cleared up.. needless to say that didn’t stop the kids from enjoying it. did notice a possible wasp hive/nest on the far backside of the pool. . the area is a lovely scenic view with wildlife all around. but my personal opinion is if you have melanin and small pockets the locals aren’t very welcoming. that’s just my personal experience. also important to note, the house is a duplex it is not a single property. just needs better housekeeping and it wld be a 5star!

Do not book here!

The worst Vrbo experience I’ve ever had. The listing is for a different unit than the host told us about. We booked unit a which looked nice, and then the day of booking, the message from the host said unit b. Everything that could be wrong about a stay, was wrong. Dishes in the sink, trash in the trash cans, tvs pulled off the walls. Holls in the walls, glass busted out of the fridge drawers. Fire alarms chirping. All the pictures had either fallen off or been pulled off. Just a wall of command hooks. When I called and tried to address the horrible situation with the host, he began yelling at me saying he had cleaned it himself this morning and that the reason we weren’t booked in unit a is because the AC was broken. Except we were attached to unit a andddd there were a whole bunch of people there… He started yelling and telling me if I didn’t like it that I could get out. That I better be out because he would be there in 10 minutes. We were desperately trying to find another place when he started banging at the door telling us to get out. We had to lock all the doors and call the cops on him because we didn’t feel safe leaving. We hadn’t even had time to find another place to stay. We were finally able to get out when the cops came and they told us to make sure we had time stamps of everything because the host was telling them we had caused damage and he needed to get in to take pictures. I had already been in contact with support, emailed all the photos over.

Lago Vista is a pretty quiet town. I love the lake and how friendly it is. The parks and swimming pools are very accessible , It is a place where residents can enjoy the natural beauty of the Hill Country, and also wonderful if you visit for short trips. You can engage in outdoor activities, and experience a slower pace of life while still having access to the amenities of a larger city nearby.
