Brimming with historic Galveston charm, The Victoria House and Apartments is like having your own private compound in the heart of the city. From the main house, you can sit on the front porch and look out over Adoue Park. Two garage apartments with kitchen and living areas provide lots of bonus space for grandparents, older children, and large groups to spread out and relax. You’ll be close to a yummy local bakery and UTMB, while also being a short drive away from the beach.

Location: Downtown Historic District of Galveston, Texas– 1 mile to the Galveston Strand and 0.3 miles from UTMB.

Beach access: This home is a half-mile from Stewart Beach, Porretto Beach, and the hustle and bustle of the Seawall. We recommend driving over walking to the beach.

Community Amenities: The Victoria House overlooks Adoue Park. The park has a large, open grass area and playground— perfect for your pets and kids! We also recommend walking the three blocks to Mosquito Cafe and Patty Cakes Bakery for a coffee break, breakfast, lunch, or dinner— so delicious!

Rent BeachBox: Looking for beach gear for your Galveston getaway? We have you covered! Beach chairs and tents can be ready at the house upon your arrival. Message us for details and rates.

WIFI: Free high-speed WIFI is available throughout the home.

Cable: We provide Roku with access to Sling TV for live television channels. Guests are welcome to log into their own Amazon Prime, Netflix, or other streaming service apps as well.

Pet policy: Up to 2 pets are welcome in our home with a $25 fee per pet. We ask that pets stay off all furniture, are cleaned up after in the yard, and aren't left alone inside the home unless in a crate or kennel. Please message us if you’re planning on bringing your furry friend!

Parking: The street parking in front of the home is free on Saturdays and Sundays. Guests staying during the week will receive two free parking passes.

Party Policy: No parties are allowed at our home. Please look elsewhere if that is the intent of your trip.

The main house is a grand and gracious southern belle of a home— complete with a generous front porch and charming entrance. Gleaming wood floors welcome you in the front hall. The modern living room furnishings strike the perfect balance with the historic architectural details. Bright Texas sunshine pours into the room from the large windows— highlighting the wide baseboards and soaring tray ceilings.

The well-equipped kitchen features marble countertops and cherry wood cabinets. Large groups will love to linger around the island in this large kitchen while waiting for the morning’s coffee to brew. There’s also a chef-worthy gas range and a massive stainless steel refrigerator. Around the corner are a powder room and a laundry nook with a washer and dryer.

The luxurious master bedroom is on the second floor and includes a king-size bed, large light-filled windows, and gleaming wood trim details, A sliding window provides access to the second-floor balcony overlooking the park. In the master bathroom, a soaking tub is ideal for unwinding after a long day. There’s also a separate step-in shower.

The second bedroom has two twin-over-full-size bunks and flatscreen television. The third bedroom has a queen-size bed set into a luxe four-poster bed frame and a full-size daybed with a twin trundle. These two bedrooms share a full bathroom with a step-in shower.

In the back of the main home are two cozy garage apartments. The first apartment has a queen-size bed and cozy kitchen, complete with a charming hexagon tile floor, full-size stainless steel refrigerator, and a gas range. The full bathroom has a tub/shower combo. The second garage apartment also has a queen-size bed. The efficient kitchen has sunny windows, a mosaic tile floor, a full-size refrigerator, and a gas range. The full bathroom has a tub/shower combo and built-in storage shelves.

- One-night stays must be approved.
- Groups larger than 16 need to be approved. We do not allow parties.
- Quiet hours are from 10pm-8am.
- Any damages to the house or property during your stay will result in a deduction or additional charge for the resulting repair/replacement cost.
- All pets must be approved by our team, stay off of all furniture, be cleaned up after in the yard, and not left alone inside the home unless in a kennel.
- No parking allowed on lawns, yards, empty grass lots or other neighbors’ driveways, even if their home appears unoccupied.
- Oversized vehicles/trailers are not permitted unless explicit approval has been received from our team.
- Do not turn the AC below 70 degrees. If you do, you will risk the AC unit freezing up, requiring it to thaw out which will result in the home getting extremely warm.
- We provide two parking passes which are located in the mail holder just inside the front door. Please make sure to return them when you checkout to avoid an additional charge of $100 per pass.
