Nice condo. A few electric outlets were not working properly and fan in living area did not work. Washing machine rusted. Unit door hard to open. Upkeep of the building and property was not good! Ground floor bathrooms and fitness room out of order, no water at beach walkway showers nor water hose during our stay (another guest told me they had arrived a week earlier and bathrooms, fitness room, and beach showers were out of order there entire stay). Beach gate code only worked half of the time. Nice condo but we won’t be returning to Emerald Isle.

This was our second day at Emerald Isle, love the pool in the beach access, the views, the room was really great. There was a lot of construction/maintenance on the property at the time of our stay. We understand there’s really no great time for all this to happen and it needs to . Overall, everything was great and we will be back.

Pros: Great view, host answered questions promptlyCons: Lots of construction on property, too many codes, beach chairs in unit are not beach chairs (1 was missing), beach service didn't bother to set up at all one day, toss pillows need to be deodorized, the soap and t-paper provided didn't even last 2 days, bathroom vanities are tiny. Floors need a good mopping.

Spring Break Family Vacarion

Have stayed at this location before and once again had a great time. This place is a perfect location and walking distance to all restaurants and shops. Plenty of things for the kiddos to do. Only wish both pools were heated.

Unfortunately, not made aware of the beach restoration in progress and Emerald Isle beach was closed our last day 4/18 and no access to free beach service that was included in the cost of the condo rental.

Wonderful and clean

This was a perfect vacation spot. You can walk to the beach, enjoy the private pool, or walk to restaurants and entertainment. We will be back. We loved it so much!

Wonderful experience

We were celebrating our 20th anniversary and had a wonderful stay! The condo was clean, comfortable, well appointed and had a great view of the gulf. The balcony was a pleasant place to chill and listen to the waves crash the beach. It was convenient located and we were able to walk to many of the surrounding restaurants. Hope to visit again!

Yes the view was great shopping and restaurants was very handy and great. The room was very well stocked with all the utensils you need in the kitchen. The only thing that was in need of updating was the tubs and showers. Tubs were very slippery very dangerous for falling.

It was so clean and had everything we needed and more! We did have a little problem with getting into the front door regularly. Wi-Fi went out one day, but the condo and ocean view was perfect.

New Destination

It was perfect for my husband, me and our two grandchildren (6 and 9). Easy access to everything but just far enough to not be in crowds. Comfortable beds and nice touches to make the condo feel cozy. Multiple access codes made check in confusing, but we finally figured it out. We’ll be back!

Great property, great ocean view. Loved the L shaped couch on balcony. Only one elevator working. As far as pricing, it was nit ckear until i confirmed that VRBO was charging 230 as there fee. Will not use them again. Will go direct to property mgr company.

We have no control of other guests actions or what you may/may have not experienced during your stay. We have never had anyone write a review like this or have this experience at this property. This is a beautiful condo lovely in every way. The only complaint we had was how poorly it was stocked by the management company. There was not even a full roll of toilet paper given in each bathroom and only one blow dryer to share between the two bathrooms.

Only disappointment was fold out couch un-usable! Frame is jacked up. We had to buy a blow up bed from Walmart. And the condo smelled of cigarettes

The only disappointment was the large pool was not open and was only left with the smaller one and would get crowded. We were not informed before our arrival.

Thank you for the review. We were told by the condo association the pool pump was going to be repaired prior to your arrival, or even the day of your arrival. Unfortunately condo building repairs are beyond our control and we rely on the association to provide us with accurate information, that we pass on directly to the guest. Property manager had to issue several property codes (for access to lobby, parking, pool, and beach) before a code was finally valid. Wi-Fi was non existent
