Horizon South is a gated community across from The worlds most beautiful beaches , Panama City Beach.

Unit 104 is a ground floor condo , closest to the gate and beaches.

The condo has a queen bed in the master, bunk beds for children , and a sleeper sofa, accomadting 6 guest comfortably for the wonderful home stay .



There is a washer and dryer in the condo for the guest to use, and there are many walking possibilities with Sandpeper Resort by for a quick bite to eat or beer at the bar.

Poor Communication with Property Owner and mis leading information on the Vrbo website

Poor communication with property owner regarding additional charges…Horizon South is a gated community which requires a parking pass 25 and wrist bands for all guest @ 20 each…this charge was not disclosed in the Vrbo description or any information from the property owners…There is a cleaning fee included in the cost of renting the condo...I feel that they should re-evaluate the cleaning crew to make sure they are cleaning the condo thoroughly.

CAUTION MOLD

I recently booked a stay at this property, and unfortunately, my experience was far from what I had expected. Upon arrival, I encountered several issues that made the check-in process difficult. The gate codes provided were from the previous year, and when I tried to reach out to the host, my calls went straight to voicemail multiple times. After calling the customer service number, I was informed that they didn’t service the Horizon South condos. I then had to call another number listed under the help section, where I finally received the correct gate code after several attempts, including multiple declines of my calls. Once I was able to access the property, I was disappointed to find the condition of the unit was far below expectations. There was a strong musty, moldy smell, and I noticed black mold in the vents. In the shower and toilet, there was hair along the sides. The fridge had orange mold growing on the side, and the washer smelled of moldy water. As someone with a mold allergy, this made it impossible for me to stay in the unit. I initially tried to clean the affected areas and even went out to buy cleaning supplies, but I believe it is unreasonable to expect guests to clean the property they’ve booked for a vacation. I also want to mention that I reached out to the host via her personal cell phone, as listed on Vrbo, on the first day regarding the gate code and have yet to receive any response.I STRONGLY advise not booking here!!!!

Terrible communication

The location is beautiful with a short walk to the beach, bars and restaurants.Communication with host was terrible. I reached out the day before letting them know I’d be arriving late/coming from out of state. No response. The day of, I messaged 5 hrs before I arrived letting them know my ETA. No response. I messaged again an hour before arriving asking what the gate code was. No response. I arrived late at night with no way to enter. I called the number 6 times with again, No response. Texted the number asking for the gate code, and I actually got a text back. Started helpful and I was able to enter the gate. But when I texted asking for help once inside the gate because I couldn’t find the building or unit, the other person was not helpful and stopped responding before I was able to find it. I don’t even know how long I spent driving around then walking around before finding it. spent 170 for two car passes, and 6 arm bands that were required. The lady in the front office said the stuff for putt putt, shuffle board and tennis should be in the Unit. We looked, it wasn’t. The hours listed for the pool were also incorrect. If you rent here make sure to bring trash bags, toilet paper and paper towels since the unit won’t have extras. But I highly recommend renting somewhere else where you’re able to use the amenities especially since you have to pay for them regardless

Great location

We enjoyed our stay here. Everything was really nice. My only recommendation would be to have more microwave safe dishes. And communication with the property manager was very difficult. We sent several messages which were never answered.

Great weekend

Great place to stay. Location was close to the beach. The unit was the first building past the entrance gate. The unit is a floor unit, which we loved. The condo was nice, clean and had a front door and back door (both coded) the decor was nice, the living space felt like home. We cooked in the kitchen and everything we needed was there. Even had special plates and serving trays for my 5 year old. We visit PCB quite often, so we we'll be saving this one for the future.

Nice property

Some additional photos on the listing would have been good. This would have prevented me from having to ask some follow up questions of the property manager who was not very responsive or helpful. The unit itself was very nice and worked great for our family if 5. I also didn’t realize that you have to purchase a parking permit and wristbands for everyone while at the property. Would definitely stay here again.

Just what we needed

This condo is conveniently located close to the entrance gate across the street from the beach. You can walk out the back door and just walk across the street to the beach. The community is golf cart friendly which is a big deal for us. You will have to pay $100 for 4 wrist bands though once you check in. The pools are great. The apartment had everything we needed including washer and dryer! The only “extra” I wish they had were some beach chairs/equipment. We brought our own minus the chairs as it just takes up so much room in the car for the trip down! Some of the outlets and switches could use a little maintenance as the lights on the bunk beds only work if you fiddle with them as well as the outside lights don’t work. And there are several switches that don’t work for anything. That’s my only complaint. Lol

The best

It was in walking distance to a lot. We only stayed 1 night because of coming down a day early to check into our condo the next day! It was a cute little area the pond was beautiful. The apartment was clean and very spacious we'll definitely be back. I recommend this place to anyone!

Nice safe place

Gated community close to the beach. Very nice place. I love that this place is on the ground floor, in the building closest to the beach, and has a pond with a fountain right out the back door. This is the best unit there. There is a grocery store close and a few restaurants within walking distance.

Jeep jam stay

We came here for jeep jam and this place was right across from beach. It was near the things we needed to attend. I loved the way the condo was set up. The only thing I wished it had was basic seasonings

Very peaceful and quiet. owners/managers are a joy to deal with and very helpful. The place was clean, great high speed internet. We loved it!
