If I had researched more I would not picked this location. It is not on the free bus loop ( it is on one you have to call and ends at 6 pm) so we had to drive into town and then get bus to gondola square. Next. No view , or should I say you can not see sunlight from windows as the are below the upstairs porch.

I do want to clarify a couple of points for future guests. The property location and transportation details are accurately outlined in the listing, including the type of bus access available. Many guests choose this area specifically for its quieter setting while still being a short drive to town and the gondola, as we are centrally located, but a bit closer to downtown. Regarding the layout, the unit is designed as a lower-level space, which is also reflected in the listing photos and description, in multiple places. While it does not offer expansive views, it provides a private, comfortable environment that many guests enjoy after a full day on the mountain. We always encourage guests to reach out prior to booking if location, views, or transportation are a top priority, we’re happy to guide them to the best fit.

Very convenient, cozy apartment. Quiet rooms. Very accommodating. Had everything we could have wanted. Will keep this saved for my next trip to Steamboat.

Steamboat weekday ski trip

Property was clean and comfortable. I’d be happy to stay here again. The bus into town was easy - just call for pick up. I drove to the free meadow lot and then took a shuttle to the ski area, no problem parking during the week.

Our stay

This basement apartment is probably just fine for the winter months however our stay was during the summer and they’re only two small 18 x 18“ windows for a two bedroom apartment. It was very hot and stuffy. At night we sweated when we slept there is no AC Other than that. Everything was fine.

We enjoyed our stay here, clean and quiet. The halls were under renovation when we went in so honestly it looked a little sketch when we headed to the room. But we went to the room and it was actually quite nice. Just know you’re not here for any views. And figure out the way to get fresh air (through the unit all the way in the back) early. Not right before you check out. My bad on that. But if you’re in town to do stuff other than hang out in the room, like us, it’s fine.

Not what expected

The pictures online don't show what the unit is like. We went to steamboat to enjoy the beautiful mountains and were stuck in the basement with no windows and a complex under construction. Not what we wanted or were expecting.
