We are here to "advise" first time visitors on the best sights, restaurants, tours, etc. if they wish. Fly directly into our lovely SB airport easily from Seattle, Phoenix, Denver, Dallas or Chicago. Avoid LAX hassles!! We are a very unique property. You will have a real SB homestay experience with us. But, if you want complete solitude and no interaction, that is fine.

High profile guests book with us because of our privacy and discretion.

We are very flexible on check- in and check- out times in accordance with your flights and other travel plans. Scheduled on a case by case basis by your hosts. CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST included for first morning. Snacks too. New Keurig and complimentary coffee/cream whenever you wish. (French press also) Excellent Wi-Fi Reception on property.

Fabulous views from pool deck area and from inside Suite. Reminiscent of French and Italian Rivieras.
Newer and very clean guest suite with hardwood floors and separate private entrances, adjoining main house.
This is the end wing of a beautiful SB home with separate water, heating, electrical systems, A/C ,from main house. No noise transfer from or to Suite from house. 2 room Suite with queen bed and adjoining room with king bed. Top quality sleeping!! No sofabeds........Desk area if you want to work.......... Excellent wi fi receception.


Second room also has kitchenette , bathroom and table seating for four. . Suite has fridge, micro, toaster oven, toaster, coffee maker, blender, air fryer, elec. fry pan. Elec juicer for oranges you can pick! Please note we do not have a complete stove for "heavy" cooking. We have outdoor grilling avail.

Lots of local small wildlife and birds visit our yard regularly. Two small rescue dogs on property who love guests. Ms Kitty will greet you and may spend the night with you cat lovers! caged iguanas in residence. Photo ops! See our fabulous new iguana walk-in cage. A botanical delight with an abundance of flowers and plants and birds of all kinds. Perfect retreat for the discerning guests. Swim day or night in (82 degree)heated pool. during summer months. Run of property at will. Pool heated by solar and gas. We are similar to a casual higher end hotel /resort in atmosphere and privacy. No other property offers what we do. Easy off street parking.........

One of the most spectacular views in SB, yet 5 to 10 minutes to everything. We greet all of our guests in person to make sure they are comfortable and settled in. We are discretely on property (a senior couple) when guests are here and are available for whatever you might need. No management companies!! Total privacy.
No standardized rules to observe.......A true vacation in your home away from home. We are respectful of your privacy but also enjoy good conversations with our guests........We have ......boogie boards, chairs for the beach.......

.Local adult guests and adult relatives are welcome to visit ONE DAY for your 3-4 night stay. Full use of pool and facilities, but no overnights.
For stays of 5-7 nights, guests welcome 2 DAYS to enjoy our property.....N/C

Lovely 2-br cottage adjacent to owners home. There are outstanding views of the Santa Barbara Bay. The cottage was fully stocked with everything needed for our stay….including a few extra goodies Anne left for us in the frig. She greeted us upon arrival and gave us a tour. Anne was always responsive and was a charming hostess. The property is just minutes away from restaurants and shopping. We had an amazing time and will come back.

The views, gardens, fresh citrus fruits from the trees, location, kitchenette, hot tub/pool, the hosts with a wealth of information on places to go and things to see, and their cute dogs greeting us each morning as we meandered outside to drink coffee and take in the sunrise!

Anne was a wonderful VRBO host. Her unit was amazing, a great central location in Santa Barbara, and had awesome views! All her amenities, pool, hot tub, etc were great and we made use of them every night of our stay, enjoying the view and sunset. Check in was very smooth, and Anne had great communication and suggestions for different activities and restaurants. She was very welcoming and we had a great stay. Would love to stay again next time we are in town.

The view is amazing from the bedrooms, pool, and jacuzzi. We were engulfed in a natural sanctuary featuring botanic diversity, inspiring statues, chirping birds, and butterflies. Our host was generous with food and beverages and eager to engage with us. Santa Barbara is a great city, for our family of 2 adults and 2 teenagers. We especially enjoyed the beach, pier, and a full day dedicated to enjoying the pristine pool.

We have rented about 20 properties thru VRBO over the past decade. This home has the very best view of all of them. A hillside view of Santa Barbara and the offshore islands. Anne is a very nice host. She has two small rescue dogs and a very friendly cat that hangs out in her driveway begging to be petted.Anne has very good recommendations for restaurants and tourist sites. We really enjoyed the mission and natural history museum, which are only a few minutes from her house. She called me while we were on our way up to get an ETA so she could fire up the hot tub, which is right next to the VRBO unit. Her pool is also heated. I really enjoyed the silence at night and the lights of the city.

The property is beautiful, separate private entrance, had the entire backyard to ourselves including pool and spa, generously sized rooms, great views!, great centralized location in the hills while still being 5-10 min from everything in SB, owner responds quickly and respected our privacy

We are owner managed and do all of our own bookings.
We open our home because we enjoy doing so--not just as a business. We have hosted wonderful guests from all parts of the US and world and stay in contact with many of them. Several have returned for visits. We have visited previous guests in Uruguay and Chile , Amsterdam and Germany.

So no surprises when you stay with us...... plenty of outdoor space on property to "explore." Feed our spectacular caged iguanas, Iggy and Nancy. 2 sweet small dogs who love guests. Toby and Beto......
Ms. Kitti likes to visit as well. If you are not an animal lover they can be kept in aseparate area.
Where else can you have it all? Relax by the heated pool, enjoy coffee/wine on the veranda while watching the sunrise/ sunset over the City and ocean. Quiet, but still close to downtown attractions Park in our secure large circular driveway, not on street. No "car shuffling."
Perfect place to de-stress! Many of our visitors just relax here and enjoy our quiet and private property, hot tub and warm swimming pool during the summer.

Very good take out deliveries. Also Sprouts, Trader Joe's and CVS are 5 minutes from the property. Outdoor grilling with world class view!
