Vi købte dette lille stykke jord i 2001. Min kone som arkitekt, designet og overvåget opførelsen af dette hus, integrering af feng shui videnskab for at sikre god energi og vibrationer indenfor.

A hidden Gem in a quiet area.

The house is unique and a fun place. The pool is small but perfect to spend some fun hours relaxing and watching/playing with the local iguanas. We really enjoyed this place and would recommend it to anyone that wants to stay in a quiet area of Cancun.

The house is old but has a lot of charm & was very nice to stay at - if you appreciate more historical things, you'll like this home. Definitely needs updates but that's expected. A few things I wish I knew ahead of time:The dock shown in pictures is not accessible for anyone staying at this house.The beach is full of seaweed & not accessible for kids at all.The nearby restaurants are not clean, overpriced & not family friendly so just expect to uber to eat. But the pool is nice & the outdoor area is great to hang out at. Overall we wouldn't stay there again but that was because of the location, not due to the house or the host. The host is great & very communicative!

Casa Sam, Puerto Juarez group of 11 four night stay.

Eduardo was a great host. He politely responded promptly to all our questions and needs during our four night stay. He also provided flexibility during our check in and check out times. The house provided more than enough space for our large group. The house is right on the beach and it’s located in an excellent location.

Perfect Getaway

This property was exactly as advertised. Very spacious house with a nice architectural design. Plenty of space for a large family or group of friends. My kids loved the permanent residents (iguana family)! Covid tester even came out to the house based on Eduardo’s suggestion. Also needed to print out tickets and Ricardo made that happen for us. Thank you so much for letting us stay at your beautiful home!

Relaxation at its best

We spent a month at this property with various family members, including 2 young children. Perfect spot to relax and enjoy the outdoors, either at the beach out back, by the pool, or on the patio at night. Quiet, safe location with a very private feel. Eduardo and Ricardo were prompt to get back to us and address any issues that arouse. Great contacts for cook, massage therapist, and covid tester, all who came to us. Restaurants, convenience stores, ferry to Isla Mujeres, and access to water sports were all within walking distance. We did like having a car for groceries but taxis are plentiful.

Family Time

Located on the Northern side of Cancun the house is unique in architectural design away from the Hotel district and provided the perfect atmosphere for our family to enjoy our time together. The pool was used daily and easy access to other activities either by walking or using other transportation. Eduardo was very easy to communicate with answering all of our questions before arrival and providing information regarding grocery delivery, restaurants and other activities. Eduardo also recommended July to come in and prepare dinners for our family a few nights during our stay. The meals were outstanding and July was a pleasure to work with. Unfortunately there were a few maintenance issues during our stay, once brought to the attention they were addressed immediately.

Over all a good experience

Texted about condiments and found newly purchased condiments on the counter when we arrived. We did have four unexpected guests staying there at the same time, but the 4 iguanas stayed to them selves so it wasn’t bad. 😊. Only negative was they have a 5 gallon water dispenser we said went empty, was told they would be by that day to give us one. They never came.

Best location and house simply beautiful!

I want to start off by saying that both the owner and Ricardo (prop. Manager) are absolutely amazing very accommodating. We checked in super late and actually extended our stay. The house was super clean. Clean sheets and towels. There's A/C units in every room that keep the house really cool. The views and the private access to the beach are A+. I traveled with my family and there was 10 in total age range 7yrs, teens and adults and this home was perfect. The home is big and spacious enough to accommodate more. Love that it's in a safe location and down the street from the local beach, with a nice playground for kids. This side of cancun is not so much the touristy area, which we loved! We walked to the local small restaurants that were delicious 😋 thank you for sharing your home with us ...we will be returning in the near future if God allows.

Iguana paradise

The location is great on the northern side of Cancun, great local restaurants to enjoy. The roof top bar was fun for drinks just south of the public beach. Cleaning service was good and provided fresh towels. The host Eduardo was very easy to communicate with from time of booking til the time of departure. He has so many contacts.. recommended restaurants and set a up a van service New Years Eve for transportation to the hotel zone, he also recommended a local couple for informal in house meals ( they did breakfast and a brunch New Year’s Day) highly recommended them.. it’s was above and beyond our expectations House is very nice with a unique architecture design, beach is nice.. little seaweed but convenient. We did not use the pool as we are beach lovers. Ricardo was our meet and greet upon arrival and departure. He also assisted with any concerns Thanks for the bottle of tequila on our Anniversary

Family trip

Visited Casa Del Mar with our grown children, 11 total. The house was just perfect. Right on your own little slice of beach. I could have spent the whole week without leaving the property at all. The master bedroom has a private deck, and another bedroom with 2 doubles has a private deck also. We rented 6 mopeds and had them delivered for the week. We drove them north as far as possible out to Isla Blanca, most stunning beach with just a few locals. Drove them to restaurants and grocery, etc. The more experienced drivers took them into the city also. There is tons to do within walking distance, Ferry to Isla Mujeres, fishing, snorkeling, parasailing just up the street. Uber Eats delivery is quick with tons of choices. If you’re traveling with a larger group, USAtransfers Is the most reasonable price. Get the app. 120 round trip from airport for 10 people. Taxi cost at least 70 one way for 2 people. It is not in the hotel zone but out on the edge, more of a local vibe than a touristy area. The host is very responsive, helpful and friendly, as was Ricardo the maintenance man. I will definitely be back to Casa Del Mar

Cancun in January 2024

Fun place! Amazing house! So cool to see the designs and authentic decor! House is older but great! Has a locking gate in front! No railing for upstairs, FYI. Our own little beach was amazing. The pool was great! Family of iguanas lives under the deck. Fun to watch. They don't bother you. The marina to the left and other rentals to the left and right, so we did see people walking and swimming. We loved the beach, went to dinner at The Funky Geisha (you have to go) and a catamaran tour in Cancun. USA transfers (online) picked us up from airport round trip and for the dinner and excursion. Great house. There is a public beach you can walk to with vendors and a few little local places. The house attendant was there to meet us. We felt safe and all around was a great trip! The owner is AMAZING! Had a cake and birthday sign waiting on my daughter when we arrived. We cooked too and saved tons! Had so much fun. House has everything you need! Thanks to the owner!

Casi todo muy bien

The prize is good. Location you will need to rent a car or get an uber. There is resort next door so you could find some transportation from there, i suppose. You can swim from the private beach but you will need shoes and there is algie on the bottom on some areas, but the beach is clean. Uber eats or rappy get to the property. The rooms are nice, there is a/c. The main room is connected with the 3rd floor room, so it is ideal for parents and 2 children, but there will be no privacy, as they are connected, within the same space. There is another big room, smaller, with a private bathroom. The rest is as described. The pool is fine, but there is a community of iguanas, big once, that will hang out with you. They are harmless. The drier doesn't work. It is about 30 minutes from the hotel area. Aside of the resort, there is really no place to eat walking distance. Not that I would recommend anyways. The resort next door doesn't have very good food, but the drinks are ok It was 9 of us for 5 days. I think i would stay at a resort next time.

Nataly muchas gracias por tu reseña y comentarios. Efectivamente la casa está alejada de la zona hotelera y así la anunciamos, para que no haya duda para los huéspedes. Si nuestros huéspedes nos preguntan, les recomendamos la renta de un vehículo para que se muevan por Cancún y sus alrededores, sino lo desean, hay taxis, camiones o también un Uber de nuestra entera confianza. Que lástima que nunca nos preguntaron varias dudas o cosas, como el uso de la secadora?, al día siguiente de su salida se usó por la señora de la limpieza; pedirnos una sugerencia sobre restaurantes cercanos a la casa?, hay varios de comida del mar, como el Marbella , Kiosko Verde y Mandinga y están a distancia caminando de la casa, hay más que no recomendamos y seguramente ahí comieron. Me extrañó mucho que escribieras que fueron 9 huéspedes ?, cuando su reserva fue para 7 huéspedes. Saludos

Family Vacation to Cancun

We just returned yesterday from our 9 day stay at this Beautiful Beach house. The architecture of the house is unique and accommodates large groups. We traveled with 2 families; 4 adults and 5 children. This house was plenty big for all of us. The outside area was great! We spent countless hours swimming, lounging on the lawn chairs, and playing cards under the covered porch. We also spent some days at the beach enjoying the sun, swimming in the ocean, and snorkeling. The first day, we found a big star fish. The house manager, Franck, is amazing! We set-up for him to cook our first dinner, as we were celebrating a birthday among our group. We can't say enough of the dinner and the delicious homemade deserts Franck prepared. He didn't miss a thing! We also set-up for massages at the house. What a great way to start a vacation...having a massage outside in the yard with the ocean breeze blowing upon us. To our surprise, we were given 2 complimentary house cleanings throughout the week. We picked our days and our cleaning lady was wonderful. She changed the sheets each time and provided clean towels in the bathrooms. Franck was available to answer any questions, give suggestions, cook, and run errands upon request. We truly had a memorable vacation!

Great House for "Real Mexico" Experience

The house is pretty and uniquely designed. Five bedrooms with 9 total beds provide plenty of space for a large family. We enjoyed the beachfront property , beautiful view and ample outdoor furniture and seating areas. The housekeeper (Adelaida) was very attentive and extremely thorough with cleaning. The property manager (Ricardo) met us upon arrival and provided refreshments, a tour, and responded to all our questions. Ricardo and the home owner (Eduardo) were very responsive and solved problems with a non-functioning water heater and other minor issues. (Be sure to use What's App for communication.) Be aware that the house and pool are not handicapped accessible. Although there is one bedroom on the first floor (with two twin beds), there are no handrails for the pool or staircases. There are steps down into bathrooms and throughout the house and also steps to the beach. Upstairs showers had lukewarm water at best but the shower outside near the pool was hot. Uber drivers and cabs could not locate the house with the address provided. Be sure to pin the location for all drivers. The description says the house is in the hotel zone but in fact is far from the downtown hotel district. At first I was intimidated by the somewhat run down neighborhood but ended up enjoying the opportunity to stretch my comfort zone, use my limited Spanish with locals, and spend time in a non-touristy area that gave me a taste of "real Cancun."

Relaxing getaway

We came to Cancun for a wedding and decided to rent a house for a few nights before going to the resort. Our family had such a great time. The house was so cool, but we ended up being outside most of the time. We enjoyed hanging out at the pool and the beach, both right outside the door. The kids loved when it was low tide and we could easily look for sea shells. The pool was bigger than we had imagined from seeing the pictures. The trampoline was unusable due to broken straps. At least some of the yard was shady much of the day, which was an added bonus. We did not have a car but were able to walk to El Meco ruins, the marina to go snorkeling, and the ferry to Isla Mujeres. There was no grocery stores close by but the convenience store was walkable and we could get eggs, bread, chips, etc, but you'd need to take a car trip to the supermarket if you plan on cooking your own food. Our only disappointment was that we had really wanted to have Franck cook for us and had been hoping for our first night as we knew we would not have groceries and our kids would not want to leave the house. I expressed interest in my communications here about six months prior to our trip and then again the week before. I was told both times that it would be fine and that we would schedule it upon arrival. As a planner, this was stressful. As I had assumed, it did not work out to have him cook for us at all on our short stay. All in all, our family (2 adults and 6 kids) had a wonderful and relaxing stay here!

Absolutely perfect

This was a wonderful place to spend our week in Cancun. We traveled as a family with 5 kids, ages 4-16. The house has plenty of space to spread out. My only regret is I should have brought another family with us because there easily would have been enough room for everyone. The house was super clean and well-kept. Everything was in great working order. Air conditioning and an ocean breeze kept the house comfortable. Plenty of hot water, wi-fi worked great and the kitchen was well stocked. We loved having a washer and dryer available for our use. The pool is pretty small, which I had noticed in the pictures, but it was lovely and clean. I was shocked at how much fun my kids had splashing around...it seemed small but all 5 kids spent hours in the pool every day. The beach is literally a few steps from the backyard. The sand is beautiful and white and the water was super warm. There is a lot of seaweed on the beach, but it seemed to gather in one spot so it didn't bother us at all. Once you got in the ocean, it was a little rocky. I liked to wear water shoes in the water but it didn't bother my kids and they went barefoot. The host, Franck, was absolutely delightful. He was very responsive anytime we needed anything. He was super fun to chat with. He really wanted to make sure we had a great time and was very accommodating. He and the chef from the restaurant he owns cooked for us several times during our week stay. Their food was absolutely amazing and they made enough that we were able to save some for lunch the next day. It was delicious, reasonably priced and a million times easier than dragging all the kids out of the ocean and to a restaurant. Thank you, Franck for a stay that was absolutely perfect! We hope to come back soon to enjoy your little piece of paradise!

Property is good. A little dated but ok.

So we dealt with Eduardo when making all the reservations deposits etc. send him our flight info so they know when we will arrive. We taxi from the airport to the property. It is gated at the street no buzzer or anything. Gates locked. Daughter jumps the fence to see if anyone is home. No one home. We dig through emails to find phone numbers for Eduardo. Our Taxi driver was kind enough to stick around with us for about half an hour making calls to all the numbers we had till he finally got ahold of someone. They said they would be there in 10 minutes. 40 minutes later a guy shows up. He says he is Frank and that we never told him when we were coming (my VRBO account showed I had sent our flight info). Anyway he let us in. Showed us around explained that the blender was broken and that there was no toilet seat on the main bathroom toilet. He said he would get that fixed the next day. It took a week. Never got the blender fixed and if you go to Mexico you want blended drinks! The AC in the kitchen didn't work and when we made a birthday cake for my wife (the reason for the trip) we found that the oven didn't work either. The property is fine, but for the price we paid for 11 nights I guess I would have expected a little more. Also took over a month to get our deposit back, first it was a problem with his PayPal account then we gave him our western Union account info at his request, then nothing then he finally sent it by PayPal

Hello my name is Eduardo the property owner, first of all I apologized to Gerald and his family for all the inconvenience at my home, I admitted that I miss the hour of arrival and thought that Frank will be there all day. The other things are fixed and talked with Frank about the quickness of our response to our guests ( sorry that you didn't call me or sent an email right away ).... please accept my apologies and if you decide to come back someday, you will have a big discount on your quote.
