This little gem has the best morning sunrise view and comes complete with everything you could need for your holiday. The king size bed and air conditioning in the bedroom lends itself to a very restful sleep after a day in the sun. Lots of grocery, restaurant and shopping options within walking distance. The on-site laundry is clean and efficient. All the staff where very friendly and the grounds well kept. Will recommend and return!

The ocean view was spectacular with the breeze flowing into unit. Very good location, close to dining and walking distance to Old Kapaa town. Everything we needed was there. We would stay again.

The unit was clean and the check in as easy. Great view of the ocean and sunrise. The bedroom needs blackout curtains. The portable ac unit in the bedroom kept it cool but was very noisy so light sleepers will have trouble. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cooking pans. There is no sand beach on the property and the one next door has a no trespassing sign at the entrance.

Thank you for your review and feedback. We're glad you enjoyed the easy check-in process, ocean views, and well-stocked kitchen. To clarify, beach access in Hawaii is available to the public. The "No Trespassing" signs apply to resort grounds and private property, not the beach itself. There are also several sandy beaches nearby, and we're always happy to provide recommendations. The portable A/C unit performs as advertised and helps keep the bedroom cool. While it is not as quiet as a split-system A/C, installation of split systems is not currently permitted by the association. We also appreciate your suggestion regarding blackout curtains and will assess options for improving the bedroom experience for future guests. Mahalo for staying with us!

Beautiful location with an ocean view! Easy check in and out! Great location. You cannot swim in the ocean, but it’s still beautiful! We loved watching the moon rise in the evening!

Lovely get away!

This property is convenient to airport, well managed, nice pool and hot tub. Balcony view was amazing! Would have liked a bit more “walkable “ beach, but there are some close to resort. Great vacation!

Great rental!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great place. Truly has a porch overlooking the ocean, facing east; great for sunrise and coffee! The bedroom is the only room with AC. This is stated in the description but figured I would mention it so that nobody misses that fact. If you leave the front door open along with the sliding door to the porch an ocean breeze blows right through, and during our stay in July this always kept the temperature quite nice in the rest of the condo. The bedroom is in the back of the place, so no sleeping to the sound of the ocean unless you roll out the sleeper couch in the living room, however the building is set back from the parking lot so no street noise either. This is one of those properties run by a management company - not by a family - however they were always communicative and seemed friendly. The location on the island is great. Walking distance to grocery store, health food store, and a beach. Driving was easy to north and south parts of the island. Good functioning kitchen.

Great Vacation on Kauai

We enjoyed our week long stay at Kapaa Shores. The location is great, very walkable. We saw gorgeous sunrises from the oceanfront balcony. It was nice that there were beach towels, beach chairs and a small cooler for taking down to the beach. The condo was well stocked with everything we needed.

Great stay in Kapaa

Condo was in a great location on Kauai. Beds were comfortable and condo unit was a nice size. Kitchen space was nice to have. Bathroom could use updating but was honestly fine. We spent most of our time outdoors and just slept and showered at the unit.

Coconut Coast

The cleanliness of the condo was outstanding. Beautiful sunrises were seen from the lanai. The bed was big and comfortable with wonderful pillows. It was close to stores and restaurants. We could easily travel north or south to reach beaches and hiking areas.

The view was amazing and the unit was really clean. We loved the location and the parking was great. We made several meals and the kitchen had everything we needed. We slept well at night as the ac in the room worked well. I thought the entire unit had ac, so I must not have read it thoroughly. It worked out okay due to the time of year (October) but it still became quite warm in the main living area. Other than that one issue, we loved our stay.

You get what you pay for – the complex and the unit could both use a little attention, TLC and a deep cleaning. If you like hot showers, this is not the place for you. The shower got warm, at best, and when brought to the attention of the host they said they would send maintenance to check on it. This was day 2 of our 10 night stay and I never heard back from them for the remainder of the trip. Great location within Kapaa and on the island. The bed was comfortable and the AC in the bedroom worked well.

Fantastic Location!!

We spent most of our time on the island exploring, so did not have an opportunity to enjoy many of the facilities or amenities, but the location cannot be beat! The views from the lanai were break taking and perfect for sunrise! The room was clean and well kept, the air conditioner in the bedroom was a nice touch that not all Hawaii homes have. There are also ample restaurants, beaches, and other activities within walking distance. I would highly recommend this spot to others, regardless of whether you plan to use it as a place to sleep and travel from or a place to stay and relax.

Good Property

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Condo in a good location with an excellent ocean view. Unit clean and attractive with all the necessary items in the kitchen. Available for laying around pool or in grassy area in front of unit.
