Vores hjem tilbyder en afslappet, rustik og moderne atmosfære, på privat skovklædt 7 hektar stor ejendom med en uberørt sø, der tager dig verdener væk fra hverdagens travlhed. Slap af, lave mad og indhent venner i den rummelige kabine. Lad børn løbe skøre i den færdige kælder med bordspil, brætspil, legetøj og et 60 tommer plasma-tv til videospil og filmaftener :) Gå udenfor på en af tre græsplæner for at spille badminton, kroket, softball, fodbold eller bare løbe i ren luft! Stege marshmellows og se stjernerne fra en af to udendørs ildsteder. Sid ved den rene rolige sø, hvor ingen motorsport er tilladt, og nyd de fredelige lyde fra naturen. Gå ned til det foråret fodrede søvand for en svømmetur, kajak, padlebræt, robåd eller fredeligt fiskeri. Lad børnene udforske det skovklædte område og dets charmerende babbling-strøm fuld af frøer og ørker for uendelig fantasi og underholdning. Very family friendly even for three generations. Home and kitchen was fully equipped. Host was very responsive to questions and situations. Everyone in the area was very friendly and welcoming. Lauren was a very hospitable host.

Great Vacation Home

This was a wonderful house for our visit to the neighborhood. The owner was great communicating with us as well. We would stay here again.

Beautiful stay

Lauren was an outstanding hostess. We visited her home for a vacation of 14 people and each and every person had a wonderful and relaxing time. The property was stunning and we are already anticipating coming back next year!!!

Cabin Stay

We had seven family members stay in this home, and there was more than enough room for everybody. We made plans at the last minute, and the owners were very accommodating. It’s a beautiful home and we had a great stay 😊

Wonderful relaxing stay

What a wonderful week! The house is just beautiful and extremely comfortable, the walk through the woods to the water is magical, and the pond is just perfect for swimming and kayaking. Lauren was incredibly welcoming and helpful. We highly recommend this incredible property.

Peaceful and lovely retreat

We loved our stay at this property! It is beautifully situated on a large pond, with a charming path through the woods (complete with hammocks in the clearings) to access it. We took full advantage of the kayaks and paddle boards to get out in the water, and roasted marshmellows for smores almost every night. The house was well appointed with all we could need.

Beautiful Property

The Clearwater Cabin is quite a gem. Newly renovated bathrooms, and five bedrooms, we had plenty of space to spread out. The kids enjoyed the basement / game room. The private, short trail walk to the lake was full of natural beauty. The lake is clear and clean, shallow near the shore making it perfect for all of us. Will be back !!

Terrific property for a family

Clean, beautiful property with fantastic lakeside location. Lake is very shallow for the first 50-75 yards making it an excellent play area for kids and dogs. Towns of Livingston Manor and nearby Roscoe had ample things to do for my entire family of 8 adults and one 2 year old. Highly recommended!

Fabulous house and property

We spent a week at the cabin as a family and couldn’t have asked for better. A beautiful and very well-equipped home, very clean, seamless and welcoming communication with the owners. The property is huge and secluded, with lots of special spots to hang and enjoy. Awesome lake. We also loved the local area and visiting the shops, restaurants and breweries. Highly recommend!

Perfect weekend getaway

In total, we were 6 adults, 8 children ranging in ages from 4 through 11, and 2 dogs. We never even had to leave the property - we were snowed in, and the kids had a blast exploring the property and sledding down the hills. The property couldn't be any better for families looking for a nice weekend getaway. This was our second long weekend at this cabin, and we will definitely return. We are even thinking of a summer trip!

Wonderful Visit

Very relaxing stay at a beautiful property! We enjoyed the fall foliage through the beautiful floor to ceiling windows! The fireplace was gorgeous! Wood provided. Plenty of games indoors for the kids! And we enjoyed a very well stocked kitchen! Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were nice also. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing

Second great visit in one year

We visited in May for Mother's Day and returned last weekend. On both visits, Lauren was an exceptional and accommodating host. The grounds are stunning, and the lake offers a serene escape. The area offers an abundance of activities to keep the kids entertained, ensuring plenty of things to do. We recently took the kids apple picking at a nearby orchard, where the fall foliage is just starting to show its colors. We can't wait to return.

A serene haven of tranquility.

Our stay was truly delightful. The location was superb, and the hosts, John and Lauren, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The kitchen is equipped with everything you could possibly need. Exploring the lake and the scenic trails around the property was a picturesque experience. We took our dogs along, and they relished exploring the grounds by our side. Our intention is to revisit with our family in September.

Fantastic Family Getaway

We had a terrific time at this cabin. This home is beautiful, well appointed, peaceful and perfect for the whole family. The owner was extremely responsive, personal and a pleasure to work with. The lake is quiet, clean and peaceful plus this cabin offers fun toys, kayak, paddle board and row boat that the entire family can enjoy. We were a group of 9, there was plenty of space and things for all of us to enjoy. We highly recommend this property especially if looking for a perfect place to unwind and recharge!

The Best Springtime Retreat

I love this house and brought my friends and their family to stay this time. It did not disappoint. The house has seen a bunch of improvements, which was a nice surprise because it was already so cozy. The only downside was we couldn't stay longer. Hopefully, we'll be back. Lauren is so communicative and responsive to all of our annoying questions. I couldn't ask for a lovelier host!

Family vacation

Clearwater Cabin was the perfect place for some quality down time to gather with our adult children & grandson. During our stay, we only went as far as the center of Livingston Manor to explore the shops. Our time together was spent primarily on the water, first early morning with coffee listening for birds while using our Merlin app to identify any new calls were not familiar with. On 2 occasions we were treated with Eagle sightings over the water!! We thoroughly enjoyed spending the day paddle boarding & kayaking and found it very easy to immediately relax.

Fantastic family retreat with everything you could ask for!

We loved staying at Clearwater Cabin! The place was perfect to house 2 grandparents, 1 great uncle, 1 family with 2 adults and a 3 year old, and another family with 2 adults and 2 children ages 7 and 10, and another sibling. There is a ton of space in the house, everything is clean and well stocked -- it's a wonderful place for kids. We loved our dinners on the deck, days at the lake, and nighttime pingpong & air hockey tournaments. Also lovely to be close to town, but truthfully we enjoyed our stay so much that we mostly stayed put ;) Lauren is a fantastic host -- very attentive, and put tons of care and love into creating a true respite and vacation home. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful family reunion in the lovely home. It is so much more than a cabin!!! The homeowners were so welcoming and responsive any time a question came up, and very hrlpglful when we left something behind. The home was so tastefully furnished with high quality linens and toiletries. The property was perfect for the range of grandkids visiting, with plenty of space for everyone and great beach toys. The freshwater pond was perfect and a very relaxing setting.--shalow enough for quite a distance for the young ones to find frogs but deep enough for the parent and older kids to enjoy the SUP boards, kayak and rowboat. We also enjoyed the firepit for evening S'mores!Livingston Manor is a cute little "weekend" town. Many of the little shops open on Thursday-Sunday. We also enjoyed great hiking trails nearby. We would love to return!

Great for large families!

The house is incredible! We were looking for a cabin retreat for our two families to come together for a birthday. This house was perfect. The kitchen is large and well equipped, dining fit 10 very comfortably and the open floor plan was great. The beds are incredibly comfortable and the rooms are large. The yard is awesome and the fire pit was very cool. There are paths through the woods to the lake which are fun to walk through. The local grocery and liquor store are well stocked and there are cut shops and restaurants in town. We will come back again!

Delightful few days outside the city

This was the absolute perfect getaway for a multi-generational family. The house is quite large and cozy with a great living room and fireplace. Meanwhile, the kids had a blast hanging downstairs in the basement. The kitchen is fully equipped and meals were easy to accommodate everyone. The walk down to the lake is stunning and woodsy. And even though we can’t swim this time of year, it was lovely to sit down there on a sunny day. I can’t wait to come back in the summer and take advantage of the lake and beautiful deck. The owner is a dream to coordinate with and she couldn’t have been more available for any last minute questions we had. Livingston Manor is the cutest town. We loved being so close to this growing and evolving community!

Amazing Property

The house and outdoor space is incredible. Most of our time was spent by the lake, swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding which were all provided and just relaxing. The new large deck with comfortable furniture and screened in gazebo by the lake made it that much more enjoyable. Lauren was very responsive and had great recommendations for food and hiking in the area. The home is very well stocked! Beds were very comfortable, tons of towels for both bath and lakeside. There was even a crib and highchair! Many of us made use of the Peloton bike in the basement game room which was an added bonus. Highly recommend this beautiful lake home! Amazing stay at Clearwater Cabin!!

My family and I have been blessed with renting many amazing vacation homes in the US and abroad. The Clearwater Cabin was definitely one of our favorites. The property was exceptional, it had everything that we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked… I mean fully! We have never seen anything like it. It felt like we were visiting a relatives home. The house was a perfect size for our group of 10 adults and our dog. We had enough room to relax and not get in each other‘s way. The outside was magnificent! The pond, the fire pit, and the outdoor seating area were just perfect! The pond was only a short walk down a wooded path to a beautiful dock (stocked with multiple water sports) and waterfront lounging areas. Lauren, the owner was a delight to work with. She responded quickly to our questions that we had concerning our stay. We're so happy we chose Clearwater Cabin for our summer vacation!

We live in NYC and needed an escape from the hectic life amongst concrete, so after years of searching we bought this stunning cabin property. Shortly thereafter life took over as it tends to do! We were moved abroad, and we want to share this lovely place with others in need of the serenity it gave us :) We are happy to share it with you!

This property is a unique blend of indoor creature comforts and outdoor nature at its best. The cabin is casual, you don't feel nervous coming in wet or sandy, but its also finished more upscale than most catskill properties. We also provide as many amenities as possible, so that guests can arrive with as little as they would pack for a hotel stay. The outdoor property is not overly manicured, we left it a bit wild and rustic to really be able to feel being in the natural outdoors. We love that kids can simply open the door step outside and chose to play around the house in the front or back lawn, explore in the woods (where all the best adventures happen!), or splash along the stream and in the pristine lake. These various outdoor environments help them to never bore of being outside, much more entertaining than a single manicured lawn. The lake itself is unique as well - it is small and does not allow motor sports, so the quiet clean water is particularly nice for kids swimming. This lake is spring fed (=VERY clean water) with a sandy bottom instead of a muddy bottom. Our property borders a very shallow section of lake edge, so the depth is between 1-3 ft for about 15 yards out into the water before it slopes to a nearly 50 foot max depth. This vast shallow lakeside entry allows kids to easily & safely play at our waters edge no matter what age... its perfect for toddlers to splash around while standing safely.

The cabin is remarkably quiet and peaceful while still so close to restaurants, entertainment, and activities! The catskills is a large region, with lots of small towns and rural homes... our home is uniquely positioned on 7 private acres with lawns, woodland and lakefront, yet moments away from many desirable new restaurants & destinations! The Arnold House, The DeBruce, North Branch Inn, The Walk In, Smoke Joint BBQ, Catskill Brewery, Upward Brewery, Sunshine Colony Wine Bar, Main Street Market & Cafe, Kaatskeller, The Neon Croissant Bakery, Nest, Dear, The Long Weekend... Restaurants, Bars, Shops and activities galore - all within moments of our pristine Cabin reprieve in the beautiful nature of the Sullivan Catskills. When staying here you have the option of both relaxation and entertainment; a fantastic combination for any getaway :)
