Come enjoy lake life with fishing, swimming, waterplay and beautiful views of sunsets and sailboats. You will not want to leave this expansive property with space to spread out both indoors and out. The spacious five-bedroom, five-bathroom home boasts large, comfortable rooms for your group to relax and enjoy the views. A gentle stroll through the serene outdoor spaces, surrounded by palm trees, camelia bushes, and other native flora, lead to the property’s beach and covered deep water dock where you can spend hours of fun and enjoy the best that lake life has to offer.
This home is situated on deep wide-open water with a private dock and a hot tub. There are four king size beds and four twin beds. Two of the kings are in main level master bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. The home is close to Green Pond Landing, Portman Marina, Western Carolina Sailing Club and Clemson University.
After long days of water play, your entire group can eat a meal together around the custom live-edge dining table with seating for twelve. If you want to spread out, there is additional seating for six around a second table in the sunroom, and seating for six at the bar.
Indoor communal spaces include: living room, family room, kitchen, dining room, sunroom, a screened-in porch, and a second floor sitting room. There is Spectrum Internet and six Smart TV’s throughout the house, ready for you to sign in to your favorite subscriptions. There is a 70" TV in the family room, and a 58" TV in the living room. The living room TV can also be viewed from the dining room. There are large double doors between the living room and family room so that different games/movies/shows can be viewed in the different spaces at the same time. The remaining four TV's are mounted across from the four king sized beds.
Outdoor spaces include a private dock with a covered boat slip, a screened in porch, a patio with an extra-large hot tub/spa, a fire pit, a balcony perfect for watching the sailboats by day or the sunset by night, and a wooded walking path to the lake. The lake path involves walking up an incline when coming back to the house from the lake.
Water toys available for use: two kayaks, a paddle board and a lake mat that holds up to 6 adults.
There are two master bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms on the first floor; both have king sized beds. There is also a half bathroom on the first floor, across from the laundry room.
Second floor sleeping: Three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and a futon bed in a common area. Bedroom #3 has a king bed and access to a full bathroom through the hallway. Bedroom #4, has a bunk bed and a twin bed for a total of three twin mattresses. Bedroom #5 has one king bed. There is a full Jack and Jill style bathroom between Bedroom #4 & Bedroom #5.
A futon is located in the upstairs sitting area. There is a small twin mattress to add to the futon. This bed is listed under "Bedroom #6". Please note that this is a common area and not a private room.
This home is located in a quiet residential neighborhood with parking for five vehicles on site. It is nestled in nature; palm trees line the driveway, pine trees and dogwoods surround the property; deer walk the path between the house and the water each evening. The well- established landscaping provides privacy for a quiet get-away, while remaining close to desirable attractions, events, food and shopping.
During the summer, the property is rented weekly, with a five-night minimum. The only bookings that will be confirmed between May 24-August 2 must be for at least five nights with check-in on Saturday or Sunday and check-out on Friday or Saturday.
The home will be decorated for Christmas during December and January.
This property is serviced with a septic tank. Please flush only septic safe TP. All other products should be thrown into the trash, even if they are "flushable".
There are two security cameras on the exterior front of the home, both facing the driveway. One is attached to the doorbell and one is attached to the far corner of the garage. Both record and save video/audio footage when they detect motion.
Each bed has is made with 100% cotton sheets that are laundered in hypoallergenic free & clear detergent.
Each bathroom has hand soap; the full bathrooms also have a 3 in 1 shampoo/conditioner/body wash.
There are starter supplies of; Toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, coffee pods, creamer & sugar.
The dock is private and will be available for your exclusive use. Please note the dock does NOT have power.
