Victorian flat with patio - 3 mins from Tube -Wimbledon
THE SPACE
Modern, Well Equipped, 2 Bedroom Flat in Central London - Sleeps up to 7. Situated 250 metres from Southfields Station, the gateway for Wimbledon Tennis Championships.
Come and stay in our fantastic London flat, wonderfully located!
The property itself is a recently modernised ground floor flat. Windows are all double glazed. It features a master bedroom with a king-sized bed and a second bedroom with triple bunk bed, ideal for kids or a group to bunk down. We also provide a 3-seater sofa-bed in the lounge, allowing the flat to sleep 2 extra if needs-be. The new bathroom is compact but with a spacious shower.
The main living area is an open plan space, featuring a fully equipped, modern kitchen with washing machine, dining table & chairs, and a comfortable lounge area with L shaped sofa and television.
The dining table looks onto an intimate patio.
Wifi via fibre optic broadband is also provided (min 100Mb). Please note neither the flat nor garden is wheelchair accessible.
The area is well lit and well covered by CCTV. Walking alone late at night is commonplace.
The flat is located on a main road with little traffic. The main entrance is shared with the residents of the house (myself).
We are on site to help with any problems during your stay, please just ask.
BED SIZES:

GUEST ACCESS
The main corridor from the front door to the entrance of the flat is a shared space with the main part of the house.
INTERACTION WITH GUESTS
I communicate though the app messaging platform or whatsapp during the stay. My wife or I are on hand to be asked questions during your stay as well as the briefing upon arrival.
If you would like a cleaning of the flat, bed linen changed or towels changed mid stay. Please do let me know. I can arrange. The prices for this are as follows:
Full clean of flat £45
Change of bed linen £25
Change of towels £15
The payment can be made through the resolutions tool under "request an extra service"
THE NEIGHBORHOOD- OVERVIEW
The flat is ideally located on Wimbledon Park Road, Southfields. 250m from Southfields Station and 850 metres from the No. 1 Court Wimbledon. You can reach the main tourist places in central London in 25mins on the tube.
Southfields is the gateway for Wimbledon tennis championships. It offers grocery stores, supermarkets and restaurants.
The picturesque and quaint Wimbledon Village was built up from an old medieval village. It is an eight minute bus up the hill or 25 minute walk. Wimbledon Village has all manner of high street shops, bars and restaurants. The Ivy Cafe is a popular one to book during your stay. Tennis Veterans let their hair down and party the night away in the village.
Gourmet Pubs such as the Crooked Billet, Fox and Grapes and Hand in Hand are my favourites to visit and you can walk back through Wimbledon Common via the Windmill for a cheeky ice cream stop. The Wimbledon Common is well worth a morning or afternoon stroll.
Wimbledon Park nearby also has a playground for children, volleyball and public tennis courts (bookable online) and the lake to see the swans and local wildlife.
GETTING AROUND
Southfields tube station and local buses near the front door enable getting about very straight forward.
From there you are within easy reach of the entire London Underground network, including trains to: (timings door to door)
•St James' Park, 30 mins (BUCKINGHAM PALACE)
•Westminster, 30 mins (BIG BEN)
•Knightsbridge, 35 mins (HARRODS)
•South Kensington, 25 mins (BARS AND CLUBS)
