Saddle Palms; Private Oasis with Heated Pool, EV Charging, & New Furnishings

Saddle Palms offers two and a half acres of privacy within a mile of all Borrego Springs has to offer. This completely updated home with all new furnishings, offers easy and private relaxation with a fully enclosed and professionally landscaped back patio with a heated plunge pool, (October 15- April 31), outside kitchen, custom designed firepit, and professional landscaping. Step inside to a calm and well planned space including desert artwork on the walls and a bank of sliding glass doors offering a direct view of soaring Indian Head Mountain and very close to the Anza Borrego Park Visitor’s Center. With two bedrooms and two baths, there is plenty of room for four guests to enjoy themselves.

Our home will draw you in with its palm lined driveway and generous parking. Step on to the front porch with a direct view to Font’s Point from the open door. The house itself is single level, with an open floor plan, and easy layout including two bedrooms and two baths. Just remodeled and updated, all the furniture is new, including high-end Sealy motion stabilization beds. Our large kitchen is fully equipped with a focus on making the chef in the family happy (good cookware, knives, and equipment). Step outside the house into the private, walled patio to a beautiful plunge pool, heated October through May, custom fire pit, outdoor kitchen, and a peaceful desert path. There is a full sized washer and dryer in the open and clean two car garage.

Electric vehicle? No problem - we have a charger available in the garage for vehicle charging (powered by the sun) for either standard EV or for Tesla through an adapter (we include the availability of a Tesla charging adapter)!

As frequent travelers ourselves, we focus on providing the things that matter to us when we travel for our guests. Cleanliness, comfort, and privacy are the hallmarks of our house. This gem of a property will make your visit to Borrego Springs both memorable and relaxing!

Why we Love Borrego Springs

Our family has been coming to Borrego Springs and enjoying Anza Borrego State Park for over 20 years. Our favorite things about Borrego include incredible hiking, seasonal wildflower viewing, and off-roading in the Anza Borrego State Park. After a day in nature, sitting by the pool and then enjoying a great restaurant in Borrego Springs is a must. Top off the day with stargazing in this officially dark sky community! Our house is located within the community and is close to everything including golf, tennis, the award winning library, restaurants, shopping, Christmas Circle, and viewing the many desert sculptures throughout the valley. This is an iconic and very special place that will draw you in by its beauty, and small town feel but also provides all the amenities needed for a memorable stay.

The house was beautiful - welcoming and comfortable. The location was also amazing - beautiful views and privacy while being 3 minutes from all restaurants and bars and central to all the hikes and canyons on the park. I’d highly recommend it to anyone and hope to stay there again.

The house was in perfect shape and the back yard was fabulous......a small HEATED pool and an outdoor firepit! The contact person was very helpful and available at all times. This house is also in a very good neighborhood and has a beautiful view to the west with the outstanding mountains. Borrego Springs is a very special place. The owner was also very available with any questions we had.

What a wonderful home! The walled back garden with the pool is a delightful place to relax and take in the mountains and sky, day and night. The house has been recently renovated, with modern amenities, tasteful art, and comfortable furniture. We'll be back for a longer visit next time!

Totally enjoyed the pool! The house was exactly as described. Lots of kitchen equipment. One thing to be aware of is, there are no groceries on hand. Coffee, sugar, creamer, salt and pepper are provided. The house is very open and comfortable!

We had a sweet time. It was our first visit to Anza Berrego and we will certainly be back for more adventures. There is so much to do in the state park and we also made time to relax at the rental. The house was clean and spacious. We loved that we found a dog friendly location to bring our little furry one. The kitchen has well stocked which was awesome for us as we love to cook. We didn't spend much time in the pool.. the pool was clean and was also much smaller than we expected. It is worth noting that it is more of a soaking pool with room for one to do some water aerobics than it is a pool for swimming. Even with that it was a great spot and we had a wonderful visit. Highly recommend.

Great place for a relaxing vacation! The place was clean and had all the amenities. The host provided detailed instructions and made the entire stay easy. The decor was tastefully done with lots of little details. I especially liked that the shower curtain rod, in the guest bathroom, had a metal cutout of a desert mountain range. There were four of us and we all agreed that we'd stay here again.

It was our 2nd time staying at this property and we were impressed for the 2nd time. House was very clean and in good shape. Even though there had been very big recent storms in the area the owners made sure everything was cleaned up for our visit, they even had the pool cleaned early so it would be ready for us. Outdoor kitchen is very useful and we enjoyed the patio area. Indoor kitchen is nice, love the gas stove. We will definitely stay again.

Very nice property

Nice house in a quiet neighborhood. House was very clean and had everything we needed. Outdoor kitchen was nice, used it many times. Master bed was high quality and very comfortable. Layout of the backyard was very inviting and somewhat private. View to the mountains was awesome in the morning as the sun was rising and lighting them up. Would book again.

Saddle Palms where the little things mayter

We absolutely loved our stay at Saddle Palms! It was so well stocked with all the basics and more! The interior is spacious with lots of seating. The outside area is amazing with fire pit, small pool, and a large dining table under cover. We used it all!

Magical week in the desert

The home was such a beautiful place to spend our week. Every detail and every comfort was thought of. Exceptionally clean, beautiful outdoor furniture, fire pit was a focal point of our stay, the property had many places to sit-n-relax, the communication from the start was stellar, the Welcome Notebook and check in process was THE smoothest and most precise than any property we have ever stayed at.

Great place!

The place actually matches the photos. Kitchen was well appointed for cooking which is much appreciated. Only negative was the main bedroom was pretty warm, it’s September so really hot in general but the AC did not keep that room cool. Worked for us since it was just the 2 of us so we slept in the other bedroom. Definitely the best Vrbo I’ve stayed in!

I didnt get nearly enough time here because i was held over packing & mo but my family and friends were able to utilize it alot before i arrived which they enjoyed thoroughly. Once i arrived i was so excited and was able to relax and soak up the beautiful desert beauty and really enjoyed myself. The property was absolutely perfect. This home is so clean and new and so comfortable and set up so nicely. The pictures dont do it justice it is really a beautiful home with all of the appliances being high end and plenty, which made preparing meals a breeze. I loved the atmosphere both inside and out which felt like we were in a 5 star hotel! The living and kitchen area was perfect for our crew it was open with high ceilings which made it feel much larger and all the natual light due to the wall of windows I really loved it. What a treat the shower in the master bedroom was, big and all glass surround with two rain shower heads, it was just like a spa! It was absolutely lovely and i really didnt want to leave. The pool was fabulous, a plunge pool, it was just right when you just want to take a dip and spend a little time looking at the desert beauty all around you ! It definately didnt disappoint even in the heat of summer in the desert, it was just so nice and calming to swim around in the evening with the pool lights on , i just loved it! I cant say enough about this place I absolutely loved everything about it. I spoke with Ruth at the end of our stay and she was so nice!

Your house was everything we could hope for & more! It was spacious (huge!). Very private backyard/pool area. Grill on side patio was utilized & easy to clean. We visit Borrego Springs a few times a year and anticipate staying here again!

Wonderful spot for quiet getaway

The place was lovely, spacious, quiet, and clean. Everything seems very new, since the place was only recently listed. We enjoyed sitting outside on the patio, it was very peaceful. I had my coffee out there in the morning watching the birds in the little garden area. Also nice for stargazing at night on the lounge chairs. The location couldn’t be better, close to the park and the town of Borrego Springs. We took the advice in the welcome packet on local restaurants which we enjoyed. The electric car charging in the garage was a very nice feature, it charged our Tesla quickly with no need to deal with finding a charging station. The beds and other furnishings were very comfortable. We will definitely be back!

We loved staying at Saddle Palms. The property is exquisitely clean, well designed.inside and out. The yard was especially nice since fully enclosed and private. The small pool was relaxing and fun. Outside dining and bbq are very nice. Kitchen is well provisioned. Landscaping is aesthetic. Neighborhood was very quiet and felt safe. The owners made a special effort to describe dining options in the area and had plentiful information on hikes and nature. We have an electric vehicle and loved being able to charge it. Stress free. We would highly recommend.
