We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Del Sol. The house was well provisioned and very clean and welcoming. It was fun to go up to the “lookout” for a nice view of the valley. The WiFi worked great, and we enjoyed walks in the neighborhood early in the morning before the sun came up. The owners were attentative and very helpful. Thanks for a wonderful stay in one of our favorite places to visit. All and all it was a very pleasant way for Tom to spend his 80th birthday.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa del Sol. The design and decor were beautiful. The house was comfortable, very well supplied and had a serene feel. The location was great- close to the town center but not too close. The nights were wonderfully quiet except for the occasional call of coyote or owl. We are regular visitors to Borrego and will definitely go back to Casa del Sol.

This property has an excellent location near to town but quiet and private, with a sky-viewing deck. The house is beautiful and very well laid out and beautifully decorated, with a large living room, 3 comfortable bedrooms, and indoor and outdoor dining areas. We've stayed in many properties in Borrego Springs (and around the US and abroad) and we all agreed that this is one of the nicest places we've ever stayed. The owners have clearly tried to include everything (kitchen utensils, condiments, games, etc.) needed to provide a wonderful stay to their guests. Communication was seamless and the owners were extremely responsive to questions. Great place - we'll be back.

We can’t recommend Wade & Betsy’s place enough! It truly is a gem! We’ve stayed at a handful of places in Borrego over the years and none of them have compared! Immediately upon walking in we were actually pleasantly surprised to see that the stylized listing photos were not just stylized, but 100% accurate to what you get. A lot of times with other short term rentals the listings can be misleading, by focusing on making the photos look great, but then you get there and everything around what was photographed is more dated or not on par with what the pictures show. That is not the case here, the house was impeccably decorated and very clean! On top of that, the bathrooms and kitchens are stocked with almost everything you might’ve forgotten to pack almost as if it’s your own home (just minus food in the fridge & pantry)! The coffee bar is fully stocked. The dining area outside is lovely for early morning or nighttime hangs when it’s cooler out, and is spacious if you stay here with a group. We didn’t get to make use of the fire pit, but the next time we come back we’re bringing friends and will definitely do that! Check in and out was a breeze and anything else we needed Wade was super responsive in the app. We enjoyed or short stay so much, we extended by an extra day and Wade was super helpful assisting us in organizing that as well! Honestly, the value in the price you pay versus what you get here is stellar and we will be back next time we make a trip out to the desert!

Everything was perfect: decor, light, cleanliness and the large private property. Very dog friendly as long as you remember you are in the desert! Great to be able to park in the oversize, clean garage. Nice appliances and coffee and cream provided! Also a full supply of spices. All kitchen equipment newer and in great shape including dishes cook ware and utensils. I cannot think of anything bad to say! We went to view the stars and there is a perfect area around the fire pit for viewing and a viewing deck. Great hosts with super communication.

Ok, I haven't stayed in ton of vacation rentals, but when comparing to the other I have used, Casa Del Sol was probably the nicest, cleanest and most thoughtfully curated home I have visited. They really have thought of everything - from a kitchen with every tool you would need, including things like Ziplock baggies and adorable cocktail glasses - to extremely thoughtful toiletry items you may have forgotten like toothbrush, flosser and feminine hygiene products. Each bedside table had Anza themed books and things like a notepad, pens and even scissors. The esthetics of the house were amazing, we all kept complementing how stylish and fun the home was. And the adorable Casa Del Sol, products like the welcome book and coasters, took it to another level. We brought wood, but did not burn it as the weather was unseasonably hot, but that didn't stop us from sitting around the firepit, reclining the chairs and enjoying the stars. We all agreed, we would be happy to return to Casa Del Sol in the future.

Our stay at Casa Del Sol in Borrego Springs was absolutely incredible. From the moment we booked, Wade and Betsy were so communicative, kind, and helpful, which made the whole experience seamless and stress-free.The home itself is stunning — beautifully decorated, spotless, and truly immaculately clean. You can tell every detail was thoughtfully considered, and it genuinely felt like home. They had all the little things that make a big difference — Tupperware for leftovers, a well-stocked first aid kit, and a wonderful coffee and tea selection that made mornings extra enjoyable. The mattresses and blankets were incredibly cozy, making it easy to relax and get a great night’s sleep.We stayed with our kids and even had friends join us, and it was perfect for a group getaway. The backyard setup was such a highlight — the bonfire area made for the most fun, cozy nights together. It was also amazing to have our dogs with us and see how happy and comfortable they were in the space.The home is relaxing, well set up, and makes it easy for everyone to enjoy. It’s rare to find a place that feels this polished while still being so warm, family-friendly, and group-friendly.The only thing that could have made it even better would be a jacuzzi, but honestly, everything else was so thoughtfully done that it didn’t take away from the experience at all.We had the best stay and would absolutely come back. If you’re visiting Borrego Springs, Casa Del Sol is a true gem! We’ll be back!
