I had a wonderful extra long weekend here. It was cozy and had every amenity that I could dream of. The record collection / sound system, hammock, and of course the extra waterfront site were amazing. The cabin is also extremely conveniently located for exploring, but simultaneously very private. I only wish I could have stayed longer so I could have enjoyed it more. What a special place.

The property was peaceful and beautiful. We enjoyed our time at the lake, which is just down the road and located on a very walkable road. We used the SUPs and kayaks. The house was very thoughtfully stocked with essentials. The vinyl collection and sound system were enjoyed by everyone, young and old. Stephen was a joy to communicate with and provided useful and thoughtful information. We loved our stay.

Great place to get away and chill out! Lovely property, and the "lake house" was great to swim, canoe, and get Parker to chase a stick!

Fantastic property tucked away in the north Adirondacks only a short ride away from Saranac Lake and Lake Placid. Plenty of room for my family of 6 and we especially love the record player and sound system. The cabin is well stocked with cookware and we were pleased with amenities. The bed was super comfy too!

Exactly what we wanted. Private cabin with beautiful surroundings and access to an amazing lake. Highly recommend.

Nice house. Interesting lakeside setup. Accommodates the athletes and the gazebo is a great place for the non-athletes to sit and enjoy the scenery.

Stay in Loon Lake

We rented this property to have some extra space for a reunion we were holding nearby. The place was perfect for our group! The house has a unique (in a good way!) design with beautiful stained glass. The lake access is in a beautiful spot that is great for swimming!

House designed by an architect with attention to detail that the owner has extended right through the dishes and wine glasses. Great layout for a 3 generation visit. Master bed on first floor for grandparents. Double bed on one side of the divide and two well-spaced singles on the other with a wall-mounted TV and loveseat. And a second bath. Small stand near the gazebo with quality local produce and a little farther down the road “Eats” open 5 days a week 9- 2 with quiches and baked goods by the lady at the counter.

Lovely cabin, Loon Lake, Adirondacks

We had a very enjoyable stay. The cabin was as described and as soon as we saw it we felt we had made a wise choice. It was comfortable and appealing and what one would expect an Adirondack cabin to be. Loon Lake is lovely and we appreciated having a selection of watercraft to choose from. The loons did not disappoint, and the property owner was a pleasure to communicate with.

Perfect stay on Adirondack Lake!

Amazing location with lots of outdoor activities nearby! Loved the peacefulness of Loon Lake, and it has tons of hiking, mountain biking, fishing, and water activities for the whole family. The record player and albums were a wonderful change of pace. Steve was very responsive and gave us many tips about the local area. Great family vacation to get us all unplugged and out in nature. We will be back!

Lovely place to vacation! Our host Steve was very attentive . He sent out multiple e-mails so we would know everything before our trip. The record collection was great! We spent an evening playing music from our generation. The house is very well equipped. The grill works great, we threw a couple of steaks on for dinner. Stop and get groceries before coming, it's a ride to the Hannaford store. We walked around Lake Placid, and the next day took a ferry boat to Burlington, Vermont. Thanks for a very nice anniversary vacation Steve!

Beautiful cabin in the woods!

Cozy cabin that had everything we needed for a lovely eclipse-viewing stay. Steve was a great host, very communicative and quickly answered all our questions. The cabin was clean and warm, and the pellet stove provided heat and atmosphere! The woods and surrounding area were so peaceful, and we enjoyed evening walks down to the lake shore. And of course so many great ADK hikes just a drive away. We highly recommend this cabin!

Excellent Adirondack Stay

The area, Loon Lake, is beautiful and peaceful. The property is beyond comfortable. Super clean and perfect size for us. The record collection is awesome and brought us back to our youth. Steve is an awesome host. He gave us all the details throughout our stay. You can't go wrong with this property if you want a real Adirondack experience.

This cabin (or camp as they are called in the Adirondacks) was just as described. We enjoyed the location near Loon Lake with its peaceful serenity. The lake lived up to its name as we observed loons at the property’s lakeside gazebo and boat dock (a 10 minute walk or short drive from the cabin). The cabin was clean, comfortable, and cozy with its wood pellet stove for added heat on the chilly mornings and evenings. The kitchen was well equipped for our needs. We also enjoyed the music turntable and Steve’s large collection of vinyl albums.We would definitely stay here again.
