Welcome to Palm Canyon Paradise!

Kick back and enjoy the chill tropical vibes in our Vista getaway that is just a short 20 minute drive to all of the local attractions including Legoland, San Diego Zoo Safari Park and the beach.

After your day of enjoying what San Diego has to offer, come back to your private pool, hot tub and grill out for a nice dinner in a comfortable house in a quiet residential neighborhood.

​​​​​​​• Freshly decorated home complete with a King, three Queen, a Full bed, and one pullout sleeper sofa.
• Lounge out by the pool and soak up the California sun.
• Play a game of mini golf on our brand new putting green.
• Vacation home complete with private pool, hot tub, outdoor living room, grill, and brand new putting green.
• Relax in our beautifully landscaped backyard area and make sure to pick some fresh fruit!
• Kick back and relax on the huge living room couch and watch your favorite shows and movies on a smart TV and awesome surround sound, complete with all the apps to watch your favorite TV shows and movies!
• Fully decorated home with tons of natural light.
• Large patio in the back with tons to do with friends and family.

Pool and Spa Heat:
The pool and spa can be heated for your comfort for an additional fee to cover the cost of gas and electricity. Costs vary depending on the time of year. October 1 through June 1, the fee is $125/day. June 2 through September, the fee is $100/day. Spa-only heating $40/day.

If you need the pool/spa heating, kindly let us know before arrival. Please note that pool and spa heating fees are not refundable based upon use. If we see the pool heating and you haven't prepaid or told us you are going to heat the pool the fee is $200/ day and you will be charged for everyday of the reservation.

We do have some requirements for booking for you to be aware of, that help enhance your guest experience and to protect your stay:
• Minimum age to book is 25.
• We are committed to protecting our properties which is why we've partnered with Know Your Guest, the leading vacation rental guest-screening provider. Please note that before your booking begins, you will need to verify your details through Know Your Guest. You will also be given the choice between paying a refundable deposit or buying a non-refundable damage waiver. We suggest you buy the damage waiver as this protects you in case you cause accidental damage during a booking.
• All homes are equipped with NoiseAware, a third-party partner. This system monitors the level of noise within the home to help us comply with Good Neighbor policies. This system does not record anything in the home – it only measures the volume of noise.
• To be part of the future of the Guest Experience, we provide the Guest Portal, which contains information like door code entry and wifi info, via our third-party partner DACK. This information can be accessed through a downloaded app or through a web link.
• Please be courteous when using the towels and linens. Excessive stains may incur additional charges for replacement. We do provide make-up removing pads for your convenience!
• Lastly, please review our house rules. You will be asked to agree to them prior to booking. Note that some rules incur fees for breaking them:
-No smoking in the house ($100 fee for breaking)
-No parties on the premises ($2,000 free for breaking)
- No Amplified music or sound is allowed outside or inside that can be heard outside.
-No pets allowed ($200 fee for breaking)
-No climbing onto the roof ($500 fee for breaking)
-Please be checked out by 11:00am to avoid a fee.
-We have technology that ensures that our properties are continuously running smoothly. Please do not remove, unplug, or interfere with any hardware at the property. ($200 fee for breaking).
-Please do not remove or unplug the pool robot: this will result in a fine.
-Help us keep the place clean for future guests and please remove all trash and place it in the proper trash cans outside. Gray = Trash, Blue = Recycling, Green = Yard waste. Thank you!

Beautiful property. Had a fun memorable stay

A beautiful property with everything we needed. We traveled with my whole family and we all had our own space including the children. The pool and spa is really the focal point of the property and made for a fun memorable stay. The hosts were responsive and helpful and so accommodating. I would definitely stay here again if traveling with the same number of people.

Place is absolutely amazing

This house was worth every penny. The backyard was absolutely amazing. The host was very descriptive with all their instructions and very responsive when we had questions. It was a great experience. I would reserve again.

Kids had a blast in the pool

Great location, lots of rules but nothing hard to not be able to follow. Some wear and tear of outdoor furniture but nothing out of the ordinary for any home. Overall, kids had a blast in the pool and we all enjoyed our stay.

This place is a hidden gem in Vista. The backyard feels like a tropical paradise, and the house is laid out perfectly. It was easy to get amazing food delivered, and quick to go visit North County. The house is beautiful

The house is beautiful! We spent our entire trip in the pool. The house has plenty of space for guests. The host responded quickly when there was any questions or concerns. And if we had an issue they were quick to ask if we'd like someone to come out and look into it. Overall it was a great stay!

I booked this place for my family to celebrate my husband's birthday. I am so glad we did. The home was welcoming, spacious and FUN. The kids had a blast in the backyard. The putting green was a masterful touch to the outdoor oasis feel. Both the adults and kids were constantly on the green. Overall, this place is worth the coins. We would definitely stay again.

Super convenient location, minutes from grocery stores

We had a wonderful stay! The host always promptly responded to questions. The upstairs extra living area was perfect for the kids to have their own space to play and relax. One of the best features for us was the spacious closet in the main bedroom—it was big enough to fit the pack 'n play (which was provided!) and even allowed me to lay down next to it while helping my baby fall asleep. The pool was ideal for our little ones, especially the shallow ends where they could safely splash around. Since we were visiting in August and coming from Seattle, we didn't need to pay extra to heat the pool or hot tub—the temperature was perfect as-is. The location was also super convenient, just minutes from grocery stores, the freeway, and Costco. Would definitely recommend for families!

Beautiful home. Peaceful and private.

This is a beautiful home. The backyard is incredible. Peaceful and private. Lovely house with plenty of room for a family. WiFi wasn't great especially for work. We alerted the host that the signal kept dropping during work video calls but the suggestions to reboot the routers didn't improve the performance. We also had an issue with the garage door. I had to manually open and close it when it stopped working a day into our 5 day stay. We were told that a service person would be alerted but they never showed up to fix it.

It was comfortable and quite

The place was mostly clean, tages from clothing was left on the window seal of one of the up stairs bedroom and a few dishes were put away dirty. One of the living room chairs is stained. A slat of the window blinds in the master bed room was broken and the shade valance in the living room was sagging. I guess my expections were extremely high do to all the rules and fines if not followed. I knew it was quite hours from 9 to 9 but did not know that you are not allowed to use the hot tub after 9pm, which is one of the rules posted at the house. We rented this place for the hot tub so we could relax at the end of the day but only made it back one night in time to enjoy it. The house is very nice size and location for our family to gather, play games and tour the area. Overall, it was comfortable and quite. Felt very safe there. I would recommend it as along as you are good with not using the backyard/pool/spa between 9pm to 9am

Palm Canyon Paradise San Diego Family Vacation

The property was beautiful and offered everything that was represented on the website. We especially loved the pool/hot tub & the little putting green was a lot of fun. It was a perfect home for our family! The only complaint is that the cushions need to be replaced on the lounge chairs above the pool.

Great place for a family - comfortable and the pool was great entertainment for the kids.

We really enjoyed this house. It was comfortable and roomy. The nuances with the property was that we had only 5 dishwasher pods - had to leave dirty dishes, we ran out of toilet paper, there were only two dish towels, and no dish rack - it did not seem like they expected twelve people to eat there more than a couple times during our 6 day stay.

Large, modern house with excellent backyard

The listing photos were accurate. The backyard was a highlight, with a jacuzzi and pool as well as ample seating. The design of the hot tub is a little odd, because with significant rain it nearly renders the hot tub useless (because the water mixes with cold pool water) unless you drain the pool a little.

weekend getaway

We are so disappointed. We rented this place for the use of the jacuzzi but it was not heating and was not able to use it. The cold water from the pool was overflowing to the jacuzzi. When the wifi was down, we asked for assistance and it took a while for them to respond to us. Instructions were poor and it did not end up fixing the problem. We figured it out ourself later on. The house was not stocked well (only one additional paper towel and toilet paper was provided). The check in/waiver for incidentals were also a hassle and I did not understand the additional $15 transaction fee. The house was clean and cozy but overall disappointed.
