For nylig og omfattende renoveret med højere ende finish, og alle de bekvemmeligheder, hvert soveværelse har sin egen private bad, privat balkon off havet soveværelse, foran lavere Lanai kigger ud i Caribiske hav, lytte til bølgerne rulle ind på stranden. Great location with access to shopping and of course the beach. The rooms are clean and spacious and you can’t beat the view. Wally was an excellent host and you must try the pizza

Wally was very responsive and made sure our stay was everything we planned for. You are right on the beach and the pool was right outside our door. We pretty much had exclusive use of the pool since not many people actually used it which was a treat. The home is beautiful and has everything you need to cook, beach towels and everything you can think of for staying away from your home.

Relaxing end of the beach location

Enjoyed being away from philipsburg craziness but walkable if you wanted to shop or go to eat. Convenient market for shopping Loved the quietness of beach and enjoyed the pool.

Sunny week on the friendly island!!

Just as advertised! Great accommodations, convenient to everything, villa had everything we needed. Property Manager Wally always available for help with anything at all. Great trip and weather was fantastic. Very relaxing getaway!

Yes indeed, our Villa 4 is located directly on a isolated end of the beach, more private, but within only a 10 minute walk to all the shops and restaurants - its a perfect location. Our Villa 4 had been completely renovated top to bottom and has everything one needs to relax and enjoy their time in the sunny Caribbean. And yes, Wally always wants to help our guests enjoy, rest and relax.

Villa Retreat Before Setting Sail

The Villa was charming and situated in an ideal location—proximate to the lively boardwalk activities yet distant enough to maintain a tranquil atmosphere. I would certainly consider returning for a week. Wally was fantastic, consistently available for any assistance we required.

Absolutely beautiful time!

My wife and I booked the Villa for our "honeymoon" trip and it did not dissappint. First of all, Wally is an absolute gem! He was waiting outside for us when we pulled up with our rental car. He was very knowledgable about the island and suggested some places/restaurants to go to. He was very attentive whenever I had a question about anything. Secondly, the Villa was perfect. We did not bring another couple with us, but even if we had there is way more than enough room for 2 couples. The area is pretty much what I expected for an island. A lot of locals and pretty busy street, but everyone was nice. Nice boardwalk with shopping and bars. One down side to the location was bars/restaurants close early due to being in a cruise dependant area. Overall it was 10/10 will totally go again!

Amazing Vacation — Beautiful Views

My husband and I recently stayed here with our two children (ages 3 and 4) and had the best time! Our kids loved the pool and there’s pool floats already there. Other guests were very kind. We are from the States, but most others at the villas seemed to be from Canada.. most all were returning guests! The host and owner were so welcoming! The unit is well maintained and modern. It was very clean. They provide the essentials you need to get started, and there’s a corner market across the street for day to day items you may need, in addition to other grocery options nearby. We had a rental car so that had to be parked on the street out front. We felt very safe and secure the entire time. The property is code gated with cameras and security. A short walk down to Philipsburg shopping and dining area (which I would be cautious of at dark just like anywhere else in the world). Watched the jet skis, cruise ships, yachts, and other boats in the water daily. Woke up with coffee by sunrise daily on the patio, balcony, or beach. Grilled out a few evenings. Short drive to marina for boat tours. Two blocks over from UTV tours. Will definitely be back!

Slice of paradise

Don't hesitate to book this!!!Spotlessly clean unit - not even a single grain of sand in the unit when we arrived!Lots of towels and beach towels provided. For our days exploring, the Rubbermaid water jug kept the water to refill our drinking bottles cold. Huge laundry basket simplified taking the snorkel and beach gear when we explored other beaches.Extraordinarily well stocked kitchen. Thank you for the few goodies to eat upon our arrival. Comfortable beds. Lovely bedding and pillows.Comfy outdoor seating; fan in the ceiling of the covered area.Nice pool. Pool noodles provided.Heaven to step out of bed, put on a bathing suit, stroll out the patio door, through the beach gate and right on to the sand and then into the ocean. Didn't even take a towel as so close! Gentle waves and sandy entry - a definite plus to stay on this beach. Beach in front of complex never busy, not even with six huge cruise ships in port.Wally and Serge were both super helpful. Communication with Pat and Larry was easy and quick. We were never left wondering about anything. Easy to park rental car on the street outside the complex. The surrounding area was quiet (unless a car occasionally went by with blaring music) and safe. Walking distance to fully stocked market shop, or a few minutes drive to the big Carre-Four. We ate out only four of 21 meals as we were happy to BBQ at the unit and sit out at one of the patio tables and eat. WE WOULD ABSOLUTELY BOOK THIS LOCATION AGAIN.

Awesome spot

Perfect location! Very quiet at end of beach yet only a short walk into the tourist district. Best equipped place we ever rented. Wally is very helpful and accommodating. Would recommend 100%.

Perfect!!

Perfect location! Walk out of your house and you can choose between the pool or the ocean. The pool was very clean, well kept! The house was just as described, we loved it. The beach area is perfect, you’re on the far end of the beach so not as crowded but just as beautiful. The office manager Wally is fantastic from start to finish! He’s great to ask advice from. He helped us with booking an excursion and lead us to many great places to visit and eat. We will be back! It truly is the happy island!

Second Stay in Villa #4

We already knew we would enjoy this stay since this was our second time. The villa has everything you need and is perfectly located within the complex. Just step out your door to the pool and beach! And it's a short walk to the boardwalk in Phillipsburg. Wally the site manager was great and took care of any small issues that came up. He also gave us some great tips for places to go and to eat!!!

Excellent Accomodations!

The location right on the beach is spectacular! The entire property was well maintained with nice gardens and decor. The pool was our favorite spot to relax and enjoys meals and drinks. The property mgr, Wally, was very helpful. He listened to what we were interested in and provided excellent recommendations. We will be back!

Loved it Paradise!

We fell in love with it as soon as we walked in the door. It had everything you needed and much more. We visited several beaches around the island and Great Bay was our favorite. Not to mention the location to stores and restaurants. The pool and water right our your door - paradise! We are looking forward to planning our next vacation there. The property Mgr Wally was there to meet us and send us off, as well as checking on us each day to see if we needed anything. He gave us suggestions for shopping, dinner,etc and we were never disappointed.

Wow!

This villa was fantastic! It exceeded our expectations. On-site managers, Roger and Ruth, were new to their jobs. They were still being trained on the mechanics, but they already knew how to make guests feel welcome and well cared for. We had plenty of towels, toilet paper, soap, etc. to last the whole stay. Everything was squeaky clean and nicely cared for. Pool was great! We were close to the boardwalk and enjoyed dining at many of the local restaurants. We especially enjoyed The Lazy Lizard, Juggie's Place and the Cornie's Bar & Grill. Plus we were regulars for a Guavaberry Colada or Rum Punch most everyday at the Guavaberry Store. We felt quite safe, although tended to stay in after dark. One hint about St. Maarten - take plenty of cash or be prepared to use a bank machine. Not many places took credit cards. I would recommend Villa #4 to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation in a beautiful setting. We hated to leave and hope to return in the future.

"Our Blissful Holiday"

After a very busy year for our business, we needed a restful holiday. Villas on Great Bay looked good but little did we know. It was fantastic!! Newly renovated, the villa was wonderful in every way. From the moment you walked into the front garden, you couldn't help but be relaxed and curious. There is an outside shower to wash off the sand if need be. You walk through the front door to a simply wonderfully appointed villa with everything one could imagine. A huge kitchen and dining area which is open to the living area with an amazing view of the ocean. The sliding glass doors take you out to a patio with a table for six to sit and read, have an afternoon cocktail or you can just watch the cruise ships come in. The pool was ten feet from our patio, just great to cool off in or sit out in the sun as the patio is covered (which is great even if it's raining, which only happened once while we were there, one night). The ocean is about 50 feet with a wrought iron fence and gate to the beach. By the front door are stairs, with clear glass panels, taking you to the bedrooms on the second floor. The first bedroom has a queen size bed with a en-suite bathroom and a good sized shower. Also off this bedroom is a balcony, which we sat on to watch the cruise ships leave after dark or watch the waves roll in.( a schedule for the ships is also online with Villas of Great Bay) How magnificent to see the ships so close but still over a mile away so no intrusion on you. The second bedroom had a king size bed and another en-suite bath the same as the first bedroom. These have all been redone and are excellent as well as new beds which are very comfortable. There is a TV in each bedroom and DVD as well as in the living room. After we unpacked, we went down to the kitchen to see what there was or if there was anything we would need. I was impressed by everything there was, dishes, pots and pans, serving pieces, baking, etc. etc. You would want for nothing, even a slow cooker so if you are out for the day, dinner can be ready when you get home. We ordered some groceries online from the Villas on Great Bay website before we left and they were there waiting for us when we arrived. Cold beer and pop, cheese, crackers, etc. We also had a wonderful basket of goodies left to get us through the night if we had not ordered. There are two grocery stores within walking distance and laundry about thirty feet from the front door. How convenient!! Tripadvisor under TheLittlesofCanada

We have been traveling to St. Maarten since 2015 and fell in love with the island and its people immediately. After being guests at the Villas on Great Bay for a number of years, we decided to buy when Villa 4, our favorite, was up for sale. We love the fact that others can enjoy this spectacular vacation spot and all that the island, Phillipsburg, and Villa 4 can provide.
Pat and I live in the beautiful Hudson Valley in New York State. We have four grown children and two grandchildren. Family is where it's at for us! We are certain that you will enjoy Villa 4 just as many others have.

Villa 4 has been extensively, newly and professionally renovated with quality finishes and stands out. Plus, this unique piece of Paradise is ideally located away from the cruise ships on the opposite end of Great Bay. The Villa has its own private section of beach where the tourists rarely wander, but it's close enough for a 5 minute walk into town for some of the best shopping and dining in the Caribbean; it truly is the best of both. Most of everything is within walking distance so you do not require a rental car….except perhaps for one or two days if your heart’s desire is to tour the island.

This is a truly what makes our Villa # 4 a unique piece of paradise on the island of St Maarten.

Directly located on the beach, you can listen to the waves from your own private lanai or balcony. Or, take a 30 second walk out the gate to the beach, or lounge in the pool and enjoy a glass of wine while looking out over the infinity edge pool into the Caribbean blue waters.
You can take a 5 min walk along the beach to shops and restaurants, and enjoy great food and libations and view the beautiful Caribbean waters.
